This jackets looks and feels great. Removable thermal liner makes it great for slightly warmer days, and with it in, perfect for colder nights. The protection gives you a peace of mind. It has a pocket for a back protection insert, which I plan on getting to take full advantage of the jacket's features.

Thats a tough one! Both are a similiar cut, however, in my experience Alpinestars tends to be a bit shorter in the sleeves and a bit more slim than Dainese. If you have broader shoulders or longer arms, you may consider the Dainese as a better option.

There is no real difference between Alpinestars WP and DryStar, they are both the same type of membrane. D-Dry is to Dainese, as the DryStar is to Alpinestars, just named differently.
