Excellent street glove I needed a new pair of gloves for the street. I was riding on the alpinestars gpx prior to these and I really like them in comparison. Excellent construction and fit true to size. April 21, 2014
Amazing glove This glove is the perfect combination of protection and technical feedback. The top of the hand and knuckle are beefy and feel very protective while the palm of the hand feels (and is) soft enough to feel the controls but thick enough to protect in a lay down. I absolutely love this glove. If I only had one negative thing to say about this glove it would be that it doesn't come in Kawasaki green. Aside from that it's yet another top notch and high end product from Alpinestars. March 5, 2014
Perfect for street use These gloves are exactly what I was looking for. They provide a great balance between GP gloves and the next model down. Great support, plenty of protection without being to stiff. Would recommend to anyone. March 3, 2014
GPX GLOVE IS GREAT Coming from a SP-S medium size (which by the way fitted a bit tight) I decided to up the size to a large on the GPX. The fit was a bit loose but once my hands are on the bars the gloves fit snug even after the break in. I do like these gloves, they look pro and sleek. In addition to being comfortable there reasonable in price and protection is optimal. Definitely would buy another pair as a spare. Thank you Alpinestars & [R] March 3, 2014
AWESOME GLOVES The folks over at Alpinestars have done it again! I had Alpinestars gear when I rode 10 years ago. Now as a returning rider I tried another brand of gloves and the quality wasn't the same. These GPX are awesome! Fit true to size. Im a L in an "American cut glove" so Im an XL for Alpinestars. They're tight at first but they're leather so they will break in. The articulation and flexibility is great with the 3rd/4th finger bridge in the right place. Just for fun I typed some of this review with my gloves ON (2 finger typer) Not all of the stitching is uniform and for a glove north of 100 I would have liked to see it more uniform but its not a game changer as the glove is well made. The Red, White and Blue look awesome, and NO dye has rubbed off on my hands. Im hoping these are still around when my first pair are done because I would buy them again! PROS: -All leather construction with the reinforcements in the critical impact areas=great protection -Precurved finges with the 3rd/4th finger bridge -Added length for additional wrist protection (longer than a short glove but not a gauntlet) -Perforations for air flow -articulation and flexibility are great CONS: -Not all of the stitching is uniform -You're not getting them for under 100 unless you have some team zilla cash February 24, 2014
super nice gloves I ride a sport bike in LA everyday. these gloves feel super high quaintly and fit great. couldn't be more happy they feel way safer then my last gloves. Has a good mix of street / track elements to the design. My first gloves with my pinky and ring finger attached. Takes a sec to adjust but totally worth it for the safety February 18, 2014
Good stuff! The gloves fit tight and were stiff when brand new. After a month it softened up and wore in nicely. The outer profile of the gloves feel large, but reason because of the materials and padding. Feels well protected and hope it does well when needed. A few loose strands on the stitching here and there. February 12, 2014
They are just cool! These gloves and top notch! Comfortable and god forbid I hit the pavement I believe these gloves would do their job! Did I mention they are just cool!! LOL January 7, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Michael C: the purchase of these gloves was because I read many reviews and I read nothing but good things so why not try them out, plus I like the extra padding going up to the wrist. Apr 10, 2014
Nnamdi N: I like the look and it looks like it will protect well. Mar 27, 2014
Carl W: Bought these gloves for ADV / dual-sport riding. Wanted something that would provide good protection in the event of a highway spill, but also a good performer for trail riding. These gloves do well at both. Feb 14, 2014
Matthew O: I own a pair of SMX 2 gloves and they flow a lot of air and are a great summer glove. I wanted to step up the protection level this season and I really like Alpinestars quality and style. These gloves are just what I'm looking for. Feb 14, 2014

DeAndre B: I don't know anything about the sp-x.. But I can tell you that the gpx flows great air n has good protection where it's needed. . The air flow so good that my hands hardly sweat at all.. Dec 20, 2013

Derek J: I've never had any airflow problems, not even during 100*+ CA summers. A little bit of fraying from use, but they're still really well-made, lightweight, protective gloves. Dec 20, 2013

A shopper asked: How is the fit on these gloves? im 6 feet tall and weigh 160 lbs,my hand measurement was 3 5/8", but i have heard that these gloves fit rather small and I should order one size up, is this true?

Thanks

Jorge C: I am 5'7" and weight 185. I have average hands. Not small or big just average in my opinion. I owned two leather alpine gloves and after the break in period the medium was perfect for me. So when I order the gpx I stuck with medium. My hand measures 3 1/2". If you have fat fingers or long ones maybe a large would be better. If you have a motorcycle store around your city, they usually carry some alpine gloves and you can go and try different sizes before ordering. I recommen the gpx awesome gloves and very comfortable. Jon R: My hands have similar measurements to yours and I ordered a Large (normally, I'm a Medium or kind of in between Medium and Large). As others have pointed out, these are known to run slightly small (if I remember right, it is mentioned in the review video as being a common trait of A-stars gloves), and this is what prompted me to go ahead and get the Large. They fit well. Feb 25, 2014

Ricardo L R Barros R: Yes, my last Dainese gloves for example were XL and this one I had to buy XXL.

And It fits a little bit tight.

Dainese it is definately the best brand for me and my type of body.

I am 6,3, 220 and my hand it is 3,5

Rob H: I'm 5'8 145 I've always been a medium glove size in all my gear so I got a L but I think they're a little tight I should've gotten the XL. Otherwise the gloves are pretty sick. Feb 25, 2014

Douglas B: I would order one size up, they do run small in my opinion. The worst that happen is to exchange them back, but Revzilla will pay the postage. You're covered, good to go. Feb 25, 2014

Tchon M: It would not hurt, I did on mine (got an XL) and it fit me perfect. I normally take a large. They are amazing gloves, you will be happy you bought them. Feb 25, 2014

Matthew O: Yes. Basically just take the size you normally wear and go up one. I'm typically a medium in American cut gloves but I'm a large in AStars. Mar 12, 2014

B K asked: Is this glove best fit under or over your jacket? I have an aspide jacket which is pretty tight around the wrist. Mar 23, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Jonathan T: it fits under your jacket. i tried fitting it outside, its short, after you move around maybe half of it will go back in leaving the other half stuck outside. quite uncomfortable that way.
and the only closure velcro doesnt "feel" as safe around the outside.
i just leave the padding part(with logo) outside of the jacket. it feels perfect that way. very comfortable! and tons of airflow during summer.
if your jacket is very tight around the wrist, the only thing is you'll have to tuck in the velcro when you put it on(only takes 1 finger and about 2 seconds to do so), not like the full gloves you can just slap it on and go.

jimmy v: I have two textel jackets and the sleeve hangs right above my palm. So in my case I usually wear the gloves under the sleeve.
If I wear the gloves over the jacket bunches up only when I'm at a red light. In a sport bike riding position I dont really notice much of a problem.
Over all I like wearing it under. I mostly ride when its good weather so I'm not to worried about wind going up my sleeve.
