Awesome Jacket I want the jacket to be tight fitting, not baggy, so I went with a Large. I wish the sleeves would be longer, but that what I get for having a +4 ape index. Alpine please start making a Large-Tall November 2, 2015
Its not worth it. Iv used this jacket for 6 months now in all weather conditions. First time it got wet the monster graphic peeled off the back, the chest one fell of soon after. It has faded to a light grey and looks like its years old. The zip seperates behind itself. I don't think its ment to be water proof, but rain goes straight through as if it were made of cotton. Its a piece of crud with a fancy logo on it. September 22, 2015
awesome jacket Pretty awesome wind proofing, blocks majority of air on cold days. Wild layers underneath the thermal lining on inside will keep you toasty. Elbow pads are slightly off for me but no complaints on that from me. Awesome jacket looks. Amazing piece of gear for cooler days. I'm 6ft 187lbd XL fits perfect. February 2, 2015
Great Jacket, little on the expensive side I have loved my Cloak Fleece jacket. I'm a huge Monster fan, so I got these to match my m-10 monster gloves. It is an excellent year round jacket; great to layer with in the fall and winter, breathable enough to wear during the summer. As other reviewers have stated, it DOES NOT provide much, if any, protection, save a few foam pads on the shoulders and elbows. It has fit me great, I'm 5 9 and 160, and I find the sleeves the perfect length, circumference around the waist and chest is perfect as well. It has worn well, no fraying, tears, or scuffs. It has 3 pockets, one on the chest, and two waist pockets; perfect for a wallet or cellphone. The biggest con, in my opinion, is the pricey nature of this jacket, without getting much functionality or protection. Other than that, I absolutely love it. I would recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a great, stylish jacket, who doesn't mind spending a little extra. August 27, 2014
amazing texture and overall fit. Although I usually wear "large", the arms needed an inch or so extra length to be perfect. I don't know if it is worth getting the XL instead. But overall: I loved it. March 5, 2014
Great fleece! I love the quality and look of this fleece! I have yet to test it on ether of my bikes. I don't think it would offer to much in the way of protection. Yamaha FZ1 & triumph sprint st 1050 ABS February 18, 2014
Ok Not that much protection. Great style need upgrade on the padding October 1, 2012

alex e: Water resistant yes but water proof no. The monster logo on the back has fully come off mine, not sure if it was because of rain or my Kreiger R20 back pack rubbing on it. Probebly a combo of both. Not much protection. It didn't tear when I tested it with an off road crash. Realy, all it does is look good. Feb 4, 2015

Kieran M: I wouldn't say its waterproof but water resistant.
I've wirn it then got stuck in a storm on the way home from work and could say I was 90% dry.
The rain soaks into the jacket.
Me personally wouldn't use this jacket if it was going to rain.

Anthony M asked: Hi there, I was just wondering whether or not this jacket has any abrasion resistance at all? looking to get one but still want to have skin layers if i fall off, cheers Sep 7, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Shem R: It is pretty heavy duty, with pads in the elbows and shoulders. It's like a cross between a textile jacket and a sweatshirt. One thing... its really warm. If the sun is shining and it's above 70, you'll be hot. I couldn't wear mine all summer, but its about to be perfect for fall. Sep 16, 2013

A shopper asked: What riding temps is this jacket best for? Feb 22, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Tri B: I found that riding in 40-70 degree temp was pretty comfortable if not the best condition. In the 40's you probably want to layer up a bit, but still enjoyable. I wore it in the 20's and 30's, it was cold to say the least, and up to 100 degree temp in Texas. It gets hot. Feb 22, 2014

A shopper asked: will this work for an everyday riding jacket Aug 31, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
ghamauricio: I sure hope so! The CE rated protectors seem to be pretty good indeed. Back protector is not just any cheap stuff, it's not CE rated but it's not that bad either.
Finally, the mesh won't protect you at all, but the high chance of impact areas are covered with a Cordura-like fabric plus the CE rated protectors.

This is my do-it-all commuting jacket, definitely recommended for that! I would recommend something beefier for touring and higher speeds though.
