Laurence A D: it was time for a new suit and it gets quite hot here in Florida so the ventilation should help. Never been disappointed with an Alpin Stars full suit.Oct 28, 2014
Roger S: This seams to be the most recommended for this year. Alpinestars has not always been the first choice but there seams to be a consensus that the atem, right now, is best bang for the buck, and its big brother the race replica is the most advanced suit ever, but that is a bit above my pay grade.Jul 6, 2014
Eric D: I chose this item due to the wonderful video Revzilla created. The details presented were my deciding factor. I will give it a try and add additional information once i got it broken in. ; )Jul 4, 2014
Parker D: Tried to order custom fit suit, but deal fell through. I had an older Alpinestars suit that worked well, so I felt good about the quality. This suit should be a step up from my previous suit. Alpinestars makes good products.May 6, 2014
David M:Yes there is, but it does get tight in there. The suit is very form fitting for me, so I usually just take the essential cards out of my wallet with my keys. Otherwise it would just feel bulky. Great suit though, help up very well after a track crash.Oct 25, 2013
Christopher N:Yes there are small inner pockets also pouches where chest pads can be inserted...I found that having a wallet keys and maybe a phone in there can be uncomfortable since the suit is snug Oct 25, 2013
Craig S:Yes, but for me the 2 pockets are too tight for a wallet and phone (1 per side). The iPhone in either pocket presses against my ribs and sometimes gets annoying after a while depending on how the phone is situated (you can make it work with some maneuvering). So,I slide my iPhone down my left sleeve to just above my elbow roughly centered on the zipper. Then close the Velcro wrist strap to keep it in the sleeve and zip the sleeve. Fits great and I forget it's even there. Then just essential cards and cash in either chest pocket with house key and no key ring. Did a track day with this setup and no issues at all.Oct 5, 2014
A S:found my suit to be big in the arse and upper leg and small in the chest not much room for my bionic back brace also hip protectors dig in a bit try some on before you spend your hard earned money on astars i think they are more brand name than valueOct 7, 2014
Nick G:Im 5' 11 190lbs and have the size 42 US 52 EU . It fits me tight with my Astars back protector . I have one full season of track days on it . they loosen up a little bit as you wear it . Great suit I love it.Oct 8, 2014
Christopher N:I'm 6'1 bout 180 and I ordered a 44 USA or 54 euo and the fit is great it's snug but not over restricting also I have the alpinestar back plate in it along with slide in hard panel chest pads so those take up some extra room....great suit for the money I've worn mine about 3 times now feels good on the bike ..hope this helped yaSep 19, 2013
William N:Kuan I am 6'2" 190lbs and ordered a 54 but it was too small the 56 fits much better for me. Also with the liner in this suit I suggest wearing a long sleeve under garment. When you start sweating its really tough to get off with a short sleeve. Other than that I love the suit!!!Sep 19, 2013
Allen C asked:I currently wear the GP-Tech 2-piece suit size 50 and the length is fine but the fit is pretty tight, I have a decent sized chest and shoulders, biceps, legs and calf are kinda big as well. Would a 52 fit better without going too far on length with the wrist and legs?Mar 18, 2015
A S:cant say what the length would be like but my suit fits tight in the chest and i am not a big guy i live in australia so sending stuff back is expensive if you are in the states you can return for free otherwise try one on in your nearest bike store then buy from revs at the best price hope this helpsMar 18, 2015
Zakary A:I can't remember my measurements but I am a small guy. I am 5'5 and 115 pounds so I have to get the smallest possible size: us38 eu48. I love the fit of the suit it, the elastic panels help the thing move with you and stay close without feeling cramped, they also help make up for the variances in sizing (I'm still a little small for it). The one thing that gets kind of annoying is the cuff size on the wrists, they can get pretty tight when strapping up your gloves but maybe some hard shell gauntlets will get rid of that. The suit held up really well in a wreck also. A low side in practice took me across the whole width of the track and tumbled in the dirt a while, did not feel a thing and there is still plenty of leather left.Aug 10, 2014
Laurence A D:revzila will let you exchange one time roe free. With an off the shelf suit you may have to sacrifice somewhere. I'm nearly 6'3 and a bit thin but I had to deal with my height more so than my body dimensions.Aug 5, 2014
A shopper asked:Hi Looking at getting an Astars Atem suit just wondering what size I would be, I'm about 5'11, 155-160 pounds, chest 37', waist 30', Hip 36', inseam 32', thigh 21' and arm length 24' if you could advise what size you would recommend? Thanks for your helpApr 7, 2014
Nick G:Hi Im 5' 11" 190 lbs. I bought an Astars Atem suit size USA 42 . I went to the store in Philly, met with a very knowledgeable sales guy Bobby . Im getting ready to do my first track day and he helped me a lot . It was an hour and a half ride for me to Philly but well worth it .Tried on 5 suits before I got to the Atem as soon as I zipped it up I knew it was the one for me . I love it . Hope this helps, Nick.Apr 7, 2014
A shopper asked:I'm 5'4" , 185 lbs and my chest is 42" about. By the looks of the chart I would have to be (A) 100lbs cause I'm 5'4" or (B) 6'4" cause I'm 185lbs. Keep in mind I'm chunky but I'm not fat cow. Anybody else seems to built like me?
A S:Most people wearing race suits have a slim build i find my suit best fits a tall slim build in the top half and length of the legs but is generous in the seat.Probably to allow for movement on the bike. The sizes you give indicate you are in the states and could return a product if need be,at 5'4" and 185. I think you will need a custom made to measure suit or just put up with what is on offer as all suits are made like this as far as i have experienced.Try one on if you can.Hope this is of some help.Jun 1, 2015
Christopher N:The spine protector that's in it is just a piece of foam I recomend ordering the upgrade spine protector from alpinestar I fitted mine with it and chest plates as for hip pads there's not muchApr 30, 2014
