Alpinestars Andes Drystar Pants 3 5 1 1
Size way off Ordered pants - was pumped to get them ordered as per Alpinestars sizing chart and its NOT even close. Im 69" inches tall inseam is 30" regular pant jean size is a 34 so ordered a medium and the button for donig the pants up is like a inch ad a half from even touching but I think if i order a large they wil be to big and knee armour maybe out of place April 22, 2013

I find the size chart confusing? Also, pre-order; when will they arrive, roughly.

Basically, I think they made the size chart confusing by trying to make the sizing simple. For example, currently I am most comfortable in jeans with a 34 inch waist, which would put me in a MD size; but my inseam is 30 inches, which would put me in a small. As these will be my first pair of motorcycle pants which would be better. Also, I'm intending on wearing them as overpants for my 1+ hour commute.

Answer: 
Do not order a medium it will be to small im same size as you waits and legs and i could not even come close to getting these pants on over another set of pants little lone getting the button done up. I think a large would be to big, not sure what im going to do

Answer: 
My opinion would say to go for the larger size (medium) as when you are on the bike they may rise slightly, When most items don't say in the title that they are overpants they are meant to be worn commando style (boxers only) so the larger size would allow more room for a garment underneath.
