Airhawk R Cruiser Seat Pad

The last mile feels like the first, thanks to Airhawk's exclusive Shape Fitting Technology. This patented system eliminates painful points and promotes consistent blood flow for a longer, more comfortable ride. Memory foam can't do it. Gel seat can't do it. Only a genuine Airhawk Cruiser R Seat cushion can do it.

  • Center cutout area runs from front to back of cushion
  • Re-designed cell geometry improves airflow under the rider = no hot seat
  • Back cutaway allows for a tail bone relief area with a tapered transition for increased comfort
  • Cushion comes standard with cover, attachment loops, and cruiser straps
  • Cushion material: Polyurethane
  • Cover material: stretch polyester material top cover, side panels are 3-layer knit polyester providing air circulation
  • Fluid-proof, non-skid base is easy to clean and durable
  • Dimensions: 14 1/2 " Wide x 12" Deep x 2" Tall

Note: Please measure your seat or seating area prior to ordering. Ships as Polyurethane version and some may be labeled as "Airhawk 2" or come in an Airhawk 2 box and will not include the red stripe on the cover.

depends on what you are trying to accomplish. It works for the passenger ok. I wouldn't use it for the driver as you get a floating sensation instead of a feel for the bike. After trying it I made up my mind to go for a custom made seat. The cost is quite steep for what you get as there are many air cushions out there for less money. For short trips this cushion may be fine but I do 17 to 19 hours day in the saddle and it just didn't work for me. September 21, 2015
Saved my butt I got this pad because my BMW K1200R stock seat causes me to slide into the gas tank, which is uncomfortable on the groin area during longer rides. After using the pad on a recent 20+ hour ride, I can confidently say that it solved the problem. There's no way I could have made that trip without it. September 21, 2015
Misleading after company buyout I ordered the Airhawk R, but what came to me was the Airhawk 2 box and seat cover, but the actual product was the Airhawk R (confirmed by dimensions and shape of product). Revzilla told me something about Airhawk got bought by another company, etc.. Fact is, this is NOT the pad for a big touring bike (Harley), Airhawk now makes a Large Cruiser Pad for those, and the shape looks like it will fit the contours better. Revzilla doesn't carry it yet though :( However, I am pleased with the Airhawk R (2?) - my butt feels like its riding a cushion of air.. takes some getting used to though as my ride height is a bit higher than normal. Even with the confusion, the product is great. The straps suck because the buckles are cheap, but at least they are adjustable. September 18, 2015
Great product I love this pad. I wish I had it on my 5000 mile trip. I will be leaving for a 5300 mile trip in a few weeks and I will not leave without it. Thanks for a great product! September 14, 2015
works well but price is ridiculous The cushion is very comfortable, for sure. I can now ride for hours without pain or discomfort. However, seems hard to justify the price. While the cushion itself is of good quality, the mounting straps that come with the cushion are quite cheap quality and I dont expect them to last for long. September 12, 2015
Airhawk R Seat Pad Had the CHEAP Airhawk the past couple years but I've still experienced posterior pain. I recommended the AirHawk to a friend with significant spinal issues and he chose the "R" and he raved about it, so I got the upgrade. After 1500 miles I can attest to the value of the BETTER Airhawk R. No pain but ONLY slight discomfort after being in the saddle all day. Don't cheap out get the R your buttocks and attitude will thank you. August 17, 2015
Easier on the buns & nuggets! Just a small amount of air makes for a much more comfortable ride over longer distances on my Can-Am Spyder RT-S. August 17, 2015
worked as advertised I bought this for our Sturgis ride, 10 days and 3750 miles later without any discomfort with my seat. Highly recommend this product, August 11, 2015

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Charles G: This is the second Airhawk R I have bought. I bought this one for a friend as a gift. I believe Airhawk has lowered the quality of the product. The insert seem more flimsy. It's definitely not the same material. The cover is also different. I'm not nearly as impressed with the current version as I was my original purchase. Now the layout of the bumps are the same and maybe that's all that matters... time will tell if it holds up as well. But it's definitely not as flexible. Sep 16, 2015
Lewis W: for comfort Sep 13, 2015
Buck D: I do long distant riding on a Goldwing, it is nothing for me to do 600+ miles per day. I live in Florida and in the past 4 years I have completed 3 trips to California and the west coast and north west. The Air Hawk is the main reason I can do these type of days and miles. This will be my third Air Hawk as I just wear them out. I would not even consider getting on my bike for a long ride without my "Hawk" Sep 12, 2015
Charles Y: Numb-Bum Sep 9, 2015
Steven R: watched a video of how well this seat helped with drivers fatigue Sep 8, 2015
Mark L: Word of mouth from friends that have one. I am an older guy now, I look for things that make me comfortable. Sep 3, 2015

Carol D asked: I just bought the air hawk R... But need to know does the bubbles go up or down in the seat cover? Sep 12, 2015

Samuel A: Bubbles go up and start with full pressure and then reduce until you find the comfort zone. The Airhawk R works best when the ride is squishy. It will seem strange at first but having just ridden 8,000 miles, the Airhawk R is better than any custom seats I have ridden. Sep 12, 2015

Ken B: they go up
and remember to not fill the seat pad with a lot of air, just a little bit is all you need

worked great on a 300 mile day last week, and in 2 weeks will be doing 650 miles to Myrtle Beach in one day

Just got back from a 6000 mile 3 week trip, this seat is unbelievable. Did some 500+ mile days and this seat made it very comfortable. Never did my butt speak to me.

mark h: It is my understanding the bubbles go up. Make sure you don't put too much air in it or you will slide all over the seat. Hope this info helps you. Sep 12, 2015

A shopper asked: A friend of mine has the AIRHAWK R CRUISER SEAT PAD but it's different from the one pictured. His has the letter 'R' stitched into the cover and it doesn't have a red seam down the middle. I just want to make sure I get the same model since I've tried his and like it.
Is this a newer model or perhaps an incorrect picture?
Thanks for the help.

WARREN C: This is most likely a model year upgrade by adding the additonal stictching. Looks like the same design as previously advertised. Keep in mind that Revzilla will take returns and send another model should the item not work on your motorcycle. Sep 10, 2015
