The RP60 represents the proposal of the AGV range dedicated to vintage style. Reflecting its tradition for unmistakable style that its riders have taken on the racetrack in the past, AGV updates the characteristics to create a product which is sure to interest those in search of a helmet with the pure spirit of motorcycling. The design of the AGV RP60 is absolutely faithful to those used in the ‘50s and ‘60s, characterized by a clean, rounded shell, on which there are three press studs in the front area and a ring to hold goggles (sold separately) on the back. Edges and coverage of polystyrene in faux leather accentuate the vintage effect and further enhance the product.
A no bull helmet
The best thing to me about this helmet is the style. I've gotten several compliments about the gold/black color scheme. And it compliments the modern classic like my Triumph just as it should.
I was expecting the helmet to catch the wind, but since it fits so spot on, there's minimal lift. The only thing is: I wish it came with goggles. That seemed to be a feature way back when, but you have to buy your own now. Oh well. Still worth the money.

I was on the market for an open face helmet with the purchase of my new Triumph Scrambler. It's true - many others have the "mushroom" look, or are uncomfortable. That's not the case with this bad boy. I've received several comments about it during the first few months and it feels great too.
I have only 2 small complaints:
- You know that feeling when you hit your head with a baseball cap on, and that small metal piece really hurts on the top of your head?... Yeah there's an unusual pad on this helmet that at times feels like that. Not so great.
- There's an annoying sticker that is really hard to get off on the back of the helmet. Looks silly and ironically it's a sticker about the designer.
But overall a recommended piece of hardware. I prefer the fit and feel of this over the Bell.

A great open-face helmet
I picked this helmet because I was looking for an open face helment, it has a good style, and because it's AGV. I also have a K4-EVO and I really like that helmet.
Sizing for this helmet perfectly matches the size chart. I fall right between a 57-58 cm and the Medium fits me perfectly. One thing I will mention as far as fitment goes is that this helmet fits tight at first but loosens up to be very comfortable after a few wearings. It does not fit the same as a full-face helmet on the cheekpads so expect a LOT of extra tightness there on the first few times you wear it.
It doesn't give me a bobble-headed look and doesn't wiggle on my head either. It's also a pretty light helmet which is a blessing. Riding down the road with or without my windshield at high speeds this helmet does not lift up on my head even with the sun visor/peak attached.
There are only 2 negative things I can say for this helmet and why I don't give it 5 stars.
One: It's made in China.
Two: There is a gap between the cheekpads and the helmet liner on the sides of the helmet that allow foreign materials (and air) just enough room to fly into your ear. And that is extremely annoying.
The goggle strap snap on the back is a nice touch but I personally find riding with a pair of riding sunglasses to be more comfortable.
I am happy with this helmet and if you like AGV helmets you will like this one.

Rastko T:There are several different models/colors for this helmet and I am not quite sure which one you are looking at. I got the white one and finish on that helmet is glossy, not matte. I think that it looks nice, but if you are really opposed to a glossy look and are looking for a matte finish you will probably not like it. I believe that they make this helmet in matte black but it’s a solid color helmet without any stripes/checkers. Call up the guys at Revzilla, they should be able to answer the question. If the person that picks up is not sure ask them to check with people that work in Philly store they typically have the helmet in stock/on a display.Jul 7, 2014
Rastko T:Peter, My regular helmet is Shoei Quest which according to Revzilla's size chart is 59.1-60cm. It’s a perfect fit. When I tried AGV helmet L was way to small so I had to go for XL. Based on that I would say that XL would be the wrong size for you. I don’t know if AGV makes larger size the XL but I am sure that guys at Revzilla can answer that question…Good luck!Dec 10, 2014
Rastko T:The helmet was definitely available in gloss finish. I purchased glossy one in white. It is possible that the manufacture has stopped producing glossy finish or that Revizlla has stopped carrying them. Best thing to do is to pick up the phone and talk to Revzilla service rep, guys are really knowledgeable and helpful. Best thing is that they will answer any and all questions without trying to pressure you to buys something…Apr 13, 2015
Brad H:Yes there is a face shield. However, I found this helmet to be HUGE. It sits up very high off of your head. I have a narrow head and with this I look like the great Gazoo. Construction of the helmet is solid, the look is pretty classic, just too big for my taste.Sep 16, 2013
