The AGV K3 SV Helmet builds on AGV's extensive experience in designing the Pista GP and Corsa helmets as well as the legacy of the original K3 helmet. An aerodynamic shell shape is optimized for stability and aggressive aesthetics and features an integrated, compact rear spoiler to reduce turbulence. The narrow chin bar is streamlined to help the helmet cut through the wind at high speeds, further increasing stability.
The AGV K3 SV helmet incorporates a drop-down sun visor, making the helmet a tour de force, aggressive street or touring helmet. The K3 is also communication-ready and features speaker pocket cut outs to minimize discomfort caused by Bluetooth speakers pressing into your ears. The AGV K-3 SV Helmet is an excellent choice for any rider who values sophisticated, modern design in a safe and feature-rich package.

Great helmet, looks and feels fantastic.
This is my second agv (first was the xr2). I have a normal shaped head and this helmet fits good. There is still plenty room towards the nose. I got the solid black, and the finish is great. There is quite a bit of room in the ear pieces, much more than my xr2. The lining is good, but I have to admit that my xr2 was much softer. This helmet breathes extremely well, more than the xr2 by a long shot. I wouldn't say it is a quiet helmet, I think my xr2 was quieter. I use ear plugs anyway, I suspect the vents make it loud, like any high venting helmet would. This helmet is also very stable at speeds (I ride a naked bike). The drop down visor works as expected, although it's not very dark. I can also see a little distortion in it. But for more than half of the shoei gt air, I am very pleased with this helmet. It is not heavy whatsoever. I was disappointed that it didn't have the ratchet chin strap as the Europeans get, but I've always had the double d ring, so that's okay. I did see it in the description, I was just hoping it was a misprint :-)

This is my fourth helmet, the other three I either grew out of, or didn't like the way they fit. I wear a size small helmet, and this fits absolutely PERFECT. I cannot give enough thanks to AGV for coming out with this helmet, I'm a female rider so it was important to me to find a helmet that was lightweight, and not obviously feminine (aka the silly butterflies and flowers on ALLLLL of the women's helmets in any brand)... The hawksbill makes the side view of the helmet gorgeous. The acoustics within the helmet (the wind noise/ ability to hear out of a Bluetooth) are phenomenal. I tested the helmet at high speeds, and my head doesn't blow all over the place like my previous helmet. The drop-down visor could be a bit darker, but that's it.

A shopper asked:I was wondering how effective is the anti-fog coating on the AGV visor? Can it compete with pinlock? Also, in the past AGV visors were prone to scratching - is this still the case? Thanks!Nov 24, 2014
Reye W:I rode with this helmet in the cold and the visor fogged up quite a bit, I had to crack it at every stoplight I hit. I've not had a problem with the visor scratching - although they haven't come out with any visors but the clear for the small through medium helmets yet. I emailed asking and they said about a month after its release, so I don't know how effective those will be.Nov 24, 2014
Stephen M asked:I'm almost ready to get one, but I've read a lot of reviews on other entry level AGV helmets where people are disappointed in the quality of the helmets, from stitching to visor gaskets, to whistling noises at speed. Could anyone tell me about the quality of construction and materials on this helmet? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.Feb 18, 2015
Javier A:Hey Stephen, about the AVG K3 SV helment, in my opinion it's awesome. This new generation of AVG helmets are really a big step up from their older entry models. Now you still have to consider that it is priced as an entry model and will likely be a little heavier or a tad bit louder than pricier helmets, but so far I've had no issues with it (and i'm on a naked bike). It is a great helmet and you get a lot of quality and "premium" features for the price that you pay. Amazing bang for the buck. Hope that helps. -JaviFeb 18, 2015
Nicholas G:I absolutely love mine, riding with it for about 3 months now and no complaints at all. It's super comfortable and seems to be made pretty well and I definitely dont baby it, I had it fall off my bike this morning and it was completely fine. The visor feels really secure and doesnt flop around at high speed like other brands will. The gasket seems pretty solid too, it's gone through a couple little rain spurts and no leaks. Obviously a $400 helmet is going to be a little higher quality but for the money this is the best helmet I've ever had and I'll probably end up with another one in a couple years when this one needs to be replaced. As for the whistling thing I've never noticed it (even at 100+ mph). My only real complaint is that the inner sun visor isnt dark enough but you can replace it if it really bothers you.Feb 18, 2015
Robert R:For this price point you can't go wrong. I love mine. I've had a few compliments on it. I really like the hawk styling. I haven't had any issues as far as the construction goes but I also tend to take care when handling. The only downsides I would say is the inner sun visor could be darker, and I do get some fogging issues from time to time, but they clear up quickly. I tend run hot so I can't blame it on the helmet as it happens in other helmets I've had before. I shopped around for about 3 weeks before deciding on this one. I'm not disappointed, but to each thier own. As others have said it is "bang for buck" helmet. But it is worth every dollar IMO as an entry helmet. Feb 18, 2015
