Works very well. Works exactly what it's supposed to do. No more fog on the visor! The instruction to put on the visor is unclear, i.e. don't know which side stick to the visor. Overall great product. (The picture shows the visor being a light yellow/brown color but it is in fact clear after you remove the protective films). July 13, 2015
It does what its supposed to! Not cheap, but it certainly works. Had fogging issues with The Pista GP. The pinlock insert solved this. May 25, 2015
Not as good as my Shoei CW-1 Pinlock I've adjusted a few times and I still get a bit of fogging on this pillock. Never have had a problem with my Shoei CW-1. I'm pretty sure I know how to mount a pillock so perhaps there is a defective seal on the one I received. March 17, 2015
Pinlock inserts are as good as it gets..... Ordered for my second shield as I don't swap these between shields. As good as you can get for anti fog. Everyone remember nothing can stop condensation build up on a visor in cold wet weather. It's science...... February 2, 2015
Works great So far on cold and hit days, no fog on the inside of my helmet. easy to put on and off. September 29, 2014
Works Great The Pinlock Lens System does an Excellent job keeping the Face Shield fog free. It is more effective then the anti-fog sprays that you can purchase at stores. It works so well that I have them on 3 of my face shields. I just wish they weren't so expensive. August 26, 2014
It does what it's supposed to! Was a bit hesitant buying off a site in another country but had no choice if I wanted the product Revzilla stocked, and I must say I will without even thinking twice do it again. Product came quick and safely packaged, if your contemplating whether you should or shouldn't? Just do it! You will not be disappointed. June 16, 2014
It works! I purchased the Pin lock for a AGV Corsa Sole Luna Rossi Helmet with a Gold Mirror AGV Corsa / Pista GP Face Shield. It's easy to install and looks good, also stops fogging of visor. April 14, 2014

Steve L asked: Does this pin-lock insert include the pin-lock post for the visor? The clear visor for my wife's Corsa includes the tear off posts, but not the pin-lock posts. May 3, 2015

A S: No it does not. I have the original clear visor that came with the helmet and it does not have the posts. I bought a tinted visor also and it DID come with the posts. I can't find where to buy the posts (small plastic disks that screw on to the visor). I wrote to Pinlock and never received a response. May 5, 2015

Brian M: Mine only came with the insert, not any pin-lock posts. My stock Pista GP clear visor came as your wife's did, with only the tear off posts. I had to purchase a separate visor, light smoke in my case, that had the pin-lock posts on it in order to use the insert. May 5, 2015

A S: No it doesn't include the posts. The pinlock posts come with the pinlock ready visor. You have to buy a visor that's pinlock ready. It will tell you in the description of the visor. May 6, 2015

Brenton C: It's just the Pinlock lens. The tear off posts are the Pinlock posts just on the internal side. These lenses would work, I believe, even without the posts. May 9, 2015

Belmar D: The inserts do not, but there should be posts on the back side of the tear off posts of your clear Pista Lens (on inside of lens). May 7, 2015

A S: The stock doesn't include the pin lock post because it is already treated with an anti-fog layer. May 5, 2015

Micah B: Nope. Just the insert. Works well though. Have it in both my clear and dark visors May 5, 2015

Renan P V asked: Are these Pin locks for the AGV Pista helmets good to ride at night? I would be riding lots at night and lots in the rain. Apr 5, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
christina k: These work fine at night. Some people think there is a slight double image when bright lights reflect on the visor. But this is not unique to pinlock inserts. All visors do this slightly at night. Also it's more noticeable on pista/Corsa due to the thickness of the visor itself, which causes a greater offset of the images.
It's a minor concern in trade for the increased safety the visor provides.
Also the insert is ideal for the rain. Fogging absolutely does not occur where the insert is located(if installed correctly). Ever.
Correct, clean installation is important for good results. Have a shop do it if you aren't sure you can.

Janning M: Yea they actually make no difference is what time of day you're riding. They're amazing for keeping the fog out. I've ridden with them day and night and they make no difference to visability. Apr 6, 2015
