good buy This helmet is exactly what I wanted. The fit is perfect and the flip up front changing it from a full face to a 3/4 will be great on warmer days. Minor fogging while stopped quickly goes away once you start moving. May 6, 2013
Great item At first I didn't really like the helmet that I bought. But after several times using it, I start loving it. The style itself is really amusing. There's some varieties that I cannot describe. Maybe I recommend to pick a size larger that your true size if you're thinking of buying this one. It's great product, I'm likin' it. April 30, 2013
Great product for the price. Plastic shield came with some stuff that was extremely hard to clean off. The clip is nice and convenient but won't allow me to use the helmet lock on my bike like the old D clasps. With the chin piece all the way to the back it puts a strain on your neck after a awhile. I purchased the wine color, and it matched perfectly to the stock dark metallic red paint on my Honda VTX. April 29, 2013
I thought the helmet is great - I usually use a 2x snow mobil modular. After receiving the helmet I had to take the cheek pads out - I will be ordering smaller ones soon. I believe the helmet being Italian - They are smaller sizes than an American 2x . April 15, 2013
Good helmet for the price. High-vis orange is great. I ride a scooter so visibility weighs heavily on my mind. Can't say as I can tell when the vents are on or off, but they look cool. Visor fogs readily if closed all the way, but not when opened even a quarter inch. Took my neck a week to get used to the weight but I hadn't ridden for 20 years so not surprised. Being able to crank the mouth guard out of the way makes getting glasses on and off much easier. retractable sun visor easily fits over my glasses. Do be advised: the euro-ratcheting fastener doesn't allow you to lock up the helmet to conventional helmet locks. (No D-Ring) And this helmet won't quite fit under my seat or in my topcase. I'll be getting a short cable lock to lock the helmet to the scoot when needed. May 21, 2013
Very nice helmet for the money - the visibility can't be beat! I'm very pleased with these helmets - I bought two (one for a passenger). I love the roundish style, you don't see many like this in my neck of the woods. The color is superb, it is so bright that speed limit signs are visibly tinted orange when I pass them - everyone who has seen it agrees that it is difficult to ignore. The smoke shield has some waviness to it, I had thought that this issue had been resolved. Airflow is good, better than I was expecting based on other reviews that I had read. That said, the shield does tend to fog easily at stop lights, but some Rainex cleared that issue up. Noise level is acceptable, though I do notice some whistling at around 50mph. I ride upright (cruiser) and have noticed that the noise level goes down significantly if I tilt my head down a bit (like it would be on a sport bike). Perhaps they had a more "tucked" position in mind when they designed it. Overall I am well pleased with these helmets - if the smoke shield wasn't a tad wavy I'd be ecstatic. May 20, 2013

This product has great price for quality The product is a nice modular hi-viz helmet that has a good price and several features. The only problem is perhaps that it is bigger than other helmets, you can see that from the figure. Sometimes is hard to release the modular helmet and you have to take of your gloves to apply more force. I will buy it again to have a hi-viz helmet for a very decent price. April 22, 2013

Answer: 
Modulars are DOT not snell rated because of the chin bar. It is just plastic. Not very strong. Do not drop this helmet.

I have tried other helmets and eye glasses or sun glasses don't always fit. The helmets could some padding relief for the eye glass arms. You can get the helmet on but cant get prescription glasses to sit right due to the padding.

Answer: 
I have had no trouble at all wearing this helmet with glasses. Lift the chinbar, "spread" the sides a bit and the thing goes over my head and glasses with no trouble at all.

Just got the AFX FX140 and I have no problem what-so-ever with my prescription glasses. The retractable interior sun visor clears them and being able to swing the jaw-piece out of the way makes putting the glasses on and taking them off as easy as any 3/4 helmet.
