Drop to knees protection
I bought the SHORT size because they were out of the standard size. I was hoping they were going to be big enough to cover my whole shin and they are! I'm 5'7" with average/athletic build and they sit great! For comfort, they're not too comfortable in the back when you wear them straight on your skin, but that's understandable because they have the straps and the back is open. They try to compensate for that by adding another protective strap under two of the straps. I like the style but bulge a bit if under pants. Airflow on back because they're open but not on front shin. I dropped on my knees to check out the protection and didn't feel a thing. These are pretty awesome! I'll be using them for stunt work...stair falls, dirtbikes/motorcycles, jumping and falling on my knees, etc. These should work awesome for what I'm doing as long as the camera doesn't pick up the bulginess of my knees.
