Excellent Jacket for the Money
I'm a big guy so it's hard to find protective gear that fits. I guess we just bounce so we don't need protection :-)

Icon is one of the few that makes a serious hot weather jacket for guys our size. I bought the 3XL (5'9" 270 lbs) and even though it's too tight with the liner in it, it fits snug as a bug without.

I knew that would be the case when I ordered. I could have purchased the 4XL but I'm currently getting in better shape and knew I would be sizing down eventually so I would rather have the tight fit and grow into being able to use the liner.

Rode with the jacket all weekend. Even though it was bucking 90 here in Las Vegas, never felt it except for at stop lights. In fact, thinking I might need a little more air flowing through the jacket I left it zipped only half way and had to zip it all the way up due to the fact that it almost felt a little chilly.

Service from Revzilla was outstanding. Free delivery and arrived day after ordering (apparently I live near where they ship).

Overall a happy camper. Was hoping to pick up the Anthem 2 pants but . . . only available in white? :-)

Holy air flow batman!
Icon has given a great value with this jacket, the D30 armor fits in well and stays in place. The amount of air this thing has is amazing, I can walk around with it and feel the cool breeze pass through it.

The only thing I have against it is the collar, it kinda rubs up on your neck (if you got a fat neck like me) and starts to create some irritability on the skin. However, I personally found a way around it by just wearing a bandana.

Very comfy, much air.

Good Summer riding jacket
Although this mesh jacket is sold for three seasons, I don't really think it's going to make it though the late fall and winter due to the rain. It does come with a nice removable quilted liner that snaps into place as advertised and would seemingly allow you to stretch it out into the cooler fall months, but not without the help of a rain suit. As I've only had it for 90 days, nearly daily riding in the brutal Houston heat, I'm only speculating on the above statements at this time. So far, with 2500 miles in the jacket, there are no major issues to complain about. There are however, a few minor issues that I'll bring up.

Let me start with some praises - Good looking jacket overall with D3O armor sub $200!! The mesh allows so much air that on a cool day the jacket isn't even noticeable! The quilt lining seems well made and is removable (3 snaps)! The collar is low and doesn't chafe or rub. The rear of the jacket drops and provides appropriate coverage.

I really only have a few complaints. The angle of the cut of the sleeves is not particularly attractive and the zippers on the sleeves don't stay zipped. The metal logo that has sharp pointed edges is hideous and cannot be removed, the thumb loops work fine but the Velcro straps from my gloves (rev'it strikers) has torn up both of the thumb loops pretty badly.

For the money, I'm impressed with the features of the jacket. Sure, there are a few thing to nit pick, but I would recommend it to anyone who needs a good summer jacket.

The secret to sizing!
I found the perfect fit - I'm 6'0" and I have a 47" chest and a 36" waist, so I have more of a 'v' than most guys, and I weigh 225#. I went A FULL SIZE DOWN ACCORDING TO THE SIZE CHART and it fit perfectly. The XL is just right.

Those cite poor fit are nearly all folks with smaller shoulders / arms who find the jacket too baggy in those areas, so keep that in mind.

If you have broad shoulders and like a fit that is just slightly more snug than what HVB is wearing in the video, then ORDER A SIZE DOWN and you'll get a great fit.

Love the air flow and the full D30 compliment. Looks cool, too (mine is all-black).

Thanks!

I'm so sad. Great jacket but...
somehow, after my first long ride (~150 miles) with it this season, the "made for comfort" neoprene neckline wore out both sides of my neck! It hurts like crazy and after the ride, looking at it, I can see why. With my riding position on the Super Duke and turning my neck to check mirrors/lanes, the neoprene comes to a rather hard point/edge at the top of it, and that's just too much for my neck. I'm not a sissy la la, I have a decent beard most months, but this was crazy.

I'm super bummed because outside of that, EVERYTHING about this jacket is perfect. Pockets, air flow, features, armor, color, fit: all perfect. But I can't use it if I have to wear something under it in the hot weather to prevent the neck rub.

Bad news: It's tearing up my neck. Good news: Icon/Zilla are amazing companies and under warranty, I get to go jacket shopping again!

I don't like it...
I was a user of Alpinestar and wanted something different. Quality and build quality, no match to the Alpinestars. The jacket has a tendency of pulling itself back and the neckliner starts irritating your throat. The so called D3O is very thin and I am not sure how it is going to help in a fall, back protection seems good, but like other armor pads, it moves a lot. I like only one thing about this jacket, the volume of air it delivers, everything else is a big disappointment for me. It is a cheap jacket, but I was not expecting such a low quality product. I an using it from last 3 days continuously and not liking it.

Terrific Product!
Very well designed through and through. Being 6' 2" with a 44" chest and 35" sleeves, this XL Anthem 2 jacket fits really well. There could be 1 inch more of material on the bottom front so I don't feel like Duran Duran, but I'm not complaining.

The 3DO armor fits well. All components fell well put together, are quality made, and there's even curve-forming stitching that adds to the quality. Very nice!

At speed, like wearing nothing at all
I'm pretty impressed with this jacket. Here in South Florida, its been a hot hot summer. While it does feel like I'm melting at stoplights, above about 25mph the ventilation makes it feel like I'm riding with just a t-shirt on. I wasn't initially crazy about how baggy the thing was (I'm 6ft, 185lbs, 41-42 reg, and I bought a medium). After a little time with it, I'm thankful I picked this up just for the comfort factor.

Awesome jacket
This jacket is incredible for the price. Great air flow and protection. Feels like wearing nothing. Only down vote it gets is the collar, even with neoprene it rubs my neck.

Great summer jacket!
Tons of air flow, fairly light weight, and I love wearing it! It fits me perfectly. An idea about my size is jumping between XL and XXL depending on brand. I can't say how much protection it honestly has, as I haven't gone down with it yet (and I hope I don't! ) Has Elbow, shoulder, and back armor, but it doesn't seem super thick or sturdy. Again, I hope I don't have to find out how strong it really is.

I do wish it had some reflective thing on the back, but mine being pure white... I don't think it's as much of an issue.
