Riding possition feels great.
These brackets plus Woodcraft Clipons are amazing. The bike feels so much more aggressive and comfortable. I don't recommend these if you don't have clipons. It says it's not compatible with the ABS version but I got it working anyway. For the ABS model you need to remove the rear brake line and some cables out of their cable hooks in order to compensate for the extra rise and length. Overall great product!

Better foot positioning & more adjustable!
With the stock setup, my heel was lifting off the peg while changing gears. With the Yoshimura rearset brackets installed, with the straight shift rod they supply, you can adjust the angle of the shifter to the peg for a better fit on ANY foot. Not to mention, the 2 new mounting locations create a more aggressive riding position, that I prefer over the stock setup. These brackets gave me all the adjustability that I needed & then some, without having to spend $300-$500 for new adjustable rearsets. I highly recommend this product.

Yoshimura Rearset Risers 2012 Ninja 250
This is an excellent product that does exactly what I needed to! Raises the rearsets and gives more ground clearance and I don't need to spend nearly as much extra money on rearsets. Now my ground clearance issue is from the kickstand, so the risers add plenty.

Aggressive but Comfortable
This are great and a lot cheaper than aftermarket adjustable rearsets. They allow for a more aggressive posture but still quite comfortable. To note if you have the Bazzaz quickshifter your going to need to get a shift rod to work with it. I got the dynojet quick shift rod c and cut off one of the segmented female ends off and it works perfectly. Also I have the Yoshimura muffler bracket and goes over the heel part of the rear set so your right foot is resting on the muffler bracket when you put the stock rear set on the highest position.

Work So Far...
Had these for a few months and 3,XXX miles or so and they have been just as advertised. I have messed around with the various positions but the one I installed it at, has been fine. No issues thus far and they've helped me get a more aggressive riding style by bringing my feet up higher and further back, for far less than an entire rear set system. Just what I needed for a Ninja 250.

feeling sportier
Brackets work as advertised. I put it with the stock muffler so the stock heat shield had to be bent somewhat to accomodate clearance for the rearset adapters. Besides that, it's almost plug and play.

Much better than the stock position
I am 5' 10" and this put my body in a much better position. Feels more natural to me. Add some clip-ons and you'll be in heaven. Highly recommended if you are uncomfortable in the stock position or just want a more aggressive seating position with clip-ons. Well worth the price.

Great Product, Perfect with clip ons and aftermarket rearsets
Got these installed in 15 mins. Great product and no issues. These combined with aftermarket rearsets and clip ons make for a perfect set up for the 300.

Much gooder!
I was constantly dragging my pegs in the turns and knew it was time to get some setback rearsets. I didn't want to spend a ridiculous amount on a bike that isn't worth very much in the first place. I found these and I couldn't be happier! Makes the bike feel way more comfortable and aggressive in the turns.

Inexpensive alternative to the full rearset products. Works well. On ABS model may need to re-route or replace the brake line from the rear master cylinder to the ABS unit under the tank.

Easy fit, even on my ABS model (fitment says will not work with a Ninja300 ABS, but it fit just fine in the lower and rearward position). I am very pleased with the fit, finish, and change in rearsets position. Thank you!
Thank you

Dick johnson on Mar 10, 2016
Wanted a little bit more of an aggressive feel/look on my Ninja 300. By setting the rear sets further back, I can create a more aggressive body positioning. Clip ons are a must as well!
Andrew C on Mar 8, 2016
Needed to raise pegs to stop dragging them, didn't quite work but I get more lean out of the bike before I drag now

I wanted to change the riding position of the Ninja 300. It feels a lot better and more aggressive now.
flamecrow on Apr 13, 2015
As always with Yoshi parts, great quality. The new position is perfect, especially with woodcraft clip ons. Other rear-sets offer more adjustability but I think these are ideal for the average rider
Benjamin P on Sep 13, 2014

I see that this product is available in
2 colors, "black" and "works edition." On Yoshimura's website, the 2 products don't look very different. What does the works edition look like in person? Gray?
Jeff M on Nov 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It still looks pretty black to me. It doesn't match Ninja's black, though.
Will this work with the abs model ninja 300? I was looking at mine and it looks like the rear master cylinder won't be able to pull back far enough because of the hard brake line from the abs module.
A shopper on Jan 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There's no need to cut the brake line, just remove the rubber thing that is holding the brake line and then you have clearance.
Does the yoshimura rear set bracket make a huge difference in terms of the seating position? Eg more aggressive like a r6 or a 600 super sport? Or is it still about the same as the standard seat positions for the ninja 250r?
A shopper on Feb 19, 2014
BEST ANSWER: This is probably one of the best mods that I have done to my baby ninja, it drastically helped my riding position and helped me stay back on the seat more naturally rather than my delicates hugging the tank. I would recommend doing this mod and clip-on bars at the same time, if you keep the stock bars and you install these it throws the body position all off and feels very cramped. However if you install these and some woodcraft or driven clip-ons at the same time it totally transforms our little ninja. Its not quite as aggressive as a zx6 but its much more aggressive than stock.
