Venture Heat Epic 2.0 Heated Gloves

Just as the name implies, the Venture Heat Epic 2.0  heated gloves provide epic performance by keeping your hands warm and comfortable. Powered by a pair of rechargeable lightweight lithium ion batteries, these heated gloves will provide active heat for up to 5 straight hours. For even greater comfort, these gloves feature a built-in temperature controller so that you adjust the heat levels with just the touch of a button.

Flexible heating panels are located on the hand and behind each finger to deliver heat to the entire hand. Depending on the settings you choose, the lightweight rechargeable batteries can power continuous heat for up to 5 hours per charge. While traditional outerwear attempts to trap your body heat between layers of insulation, Xtreme Comfort Technology uses active heat to provide additional warmth. XCT utilizes revolutionary micro-fiber heating elements. These soft, pliable and hair-thin panels evenly distribute heat to ensure your warmth.

As an added bonus, the thumb and forefinger include touchscreen capabilities so that you can use your phone or tablet without even having to take the glove off. A 100g 3M Thinsulate liner adds additional warmth and insulation while a weatherproof shell and breathable waterproof lining keep your hands dry.

Features:

  • Touch screen compatible
  • Weatherproof shell and waterproof lining
  • 3 heat settings
  • Form-fitting cut to maximize heat transfer
  • Durable leather palm
  • Adjustable VELCRO® brand closures strap at wrist
  • Quick battery connector easily accessible in extra long gauntlet
  • LED temperature controller
  • Flexible, ultra-thin heating element

Includes:

  • 1 pair Epic 2.0 Heated Gloves
  • 2 rechargeable Li-Ion battery packs
  • 1 dual battery charger

Note: As a safety feature, if your motorcycle is outputting greater than 14 volts, it may cause the gloves to turn off. To prevent this, Venture Heat recommends first starting your motorcycle then plugging in the gloves. It should be noted that many motorcycles will operate at >14V, so it is recommended to check the voltage output of your bike before ordering.

Nice and warm
These gloves do get nice and toasty. They are also really bulky and hard to get a good feel on the bike. The cuff is also really hard to get over or under my jacket sleeves.

The batteries last for about 3 hours on high.

I would recommend these for cold weather, but maybe not riding.

Fire Pit Warm
Well it took me a long time to find what I thought would be the right gloves to continue my riding into the winter months. As I do not like to be wired in, I researched battery operated gloves. Although these gloves only have a 5 hour max life per charge, they work on point. The glove is bulky but that is needed to keep in the warmth while you ride. However I did get a size bigger but this was because I wanted an option to use liners if needed. I have rode in 17 degree weather with a wind chill without riding was 5 and the gloves worked great without a liner. I am very pleased with the gloves and this will for sure let me ride the Eastern North Carolina winter with no problems. I highly recommend these gloves for short rides but nothing over 4 hours. Yet another great product, awesome job Revzilla! Loyal Customer!

Good gloves
I ride year round in Vancouver Canada so it's cold and wet in the winter. Keep in mind that my DRZ has wide wind stoppers on the handle bars so most of the wind chill is out of the equation. I've been commuting to work in about 30F temperatures. The gloves work pretty good. I wouldn't say my hands get toasty but they are comfortable for this kind of weather. Given the warmth they have to provide I don't think they are bulky. It's a matter of getting used to them. I wore these gloves last October from Washington to Canada and when the batteries ran out, my hands were still okay. I chose these gloves because I do not like being wired to the bike and for my commute to work the batteries provide more than enough warm riding time.

Nice product... Tight in the "Gauntlet"
This product works well. You can feel it warm up right away. The battery compartment is on the underside of the gauntlet and makes it a bit tight if you wear it outside your jacket.I had to purchase a size larger to make it fit easier. Your fingers might have extra space but your wrists will thank you.

very comfortable fit and dexterity
A friend allowed me to borrow his gloves and it was very evident in a very short time as to why he was ranting about them. I was riding to work every morning and my hands were the one thing I couldn’t seem to keep warm. I can tell you these gloves have extended my riding season and will continue to do so for years to come they are simply amazing!
One major difference between my gloves and my friends was the on/off button on the back of the glove. His gloves are an older model and the push button was difficult to use, and the new pair I received have a much better button that is a snap to turn the gloves on or change the setting without issue.
If you hate cold hands as much as I do these gloves will keep you smiling, these are simply the best gloves I have ever used!

Staying fit is very important to me, so I cycle to work on a FatBike in the dead of winter; in Michigan four miles one way. I bundle up really good, but my hands are always freezing. If these gloves work I'll be back for more.
