Venture Heat 12V Heated Carbon Gloves

The Venture 12V Heated Carbon Gloves combined style, warmth, and performance together to create a motorcycle glove you are sure to enjoy.

On the inside is 3M Thinsulate insulation and a waterproof membrane to keep your hands warm and dry. To turn on the heat, simply touch the on-board temperature controller and enjoy 3 different heat settings. These heated motorcycle gloves will keep your fingers warm for as long as you can ride. If you need to pull over and take a call, the touch screen capabilities allow you to use your phone without having to take your gloves off.

The heating elements are carefully positioned around the perimeter of the hand to allow warmth to be circulated throughout your hand giving the comfort and protection you need. This great looking glove is made with premium leather and has built-in gel pads as well as a carbon fiber knuckle guard for ultimate comfort and protection.

Venture 12V Heated Carbon Gloves are powered by the existing battery of your motorcycle and will provide heat as long as you're on the road. Simply connect the harness to the terminals on the battery and run the coax cable underneath the body leaving the connector plug exposed. This non-intrusive configuration allows you to maintain the same look and feel to your bike without cables interfering. Pair the Venture Heat 12V  Gloves with the Venture Heat 12V Heated Jacket Liner or wear them on their own using the included Y-Splitter Cable.

Features:

  • Built-in temperature controller
  • Waterproof membrane
  • Touch screen compatible
  • Gel pads on pals
  • Carbon fiber knuckle protection
  • Flexible, ultra-thin micro fiber heating element
  • Form-fitting cut to maximize amount of heat transfer
  • 2.2 amps

Note: As a safety feature, if your motorcycle is outputting greater than 14 volts, it may cause the gloves to turn off. To prevent this, Venture Heat recommends first starting your motorcycle then plugging in the gloves. It should be noted that many motorcycles will operate at >14V, so it is recommended to check the voltage output of your bike before ordering.

Not very good in the rain or around moisture! They will electrocute your hands
I cannot recommend these gloves the four main reasons are that the fleece like lining material inside Wick's water like a sieve eventually filling up the glove like a balloon once this happens it takes forever to dry and they are a bit bulky to try and put under the sleeves of a jacket or raincoat they are very stiff the touch screen material on the fingertips where is out pretty quickly and if you try to use the heat function when the inside is still wet they electrocute your hands Which is less than Pleasant to say the least

Works brilliantly, but controls fiddly.
I love these gloves but find it often take several tries to get them to switch on.

I bought them because my Olympia X-Moto Jacket* keeps me warm enough so I didn't need a heated vest, so these gloves saved the cost and bulk of a separate controller.

* Currently on sale at Revzilla.

I have used the gloves down to 0c / 32F

Inconsitantly work
Its a shame that Venture could not get the quality control look into properly. I had faulty parts swapped, but now I am still having difficulty getting the left glove to switch on and stay on. Sometime it works and on the same day it will either turn off 2 min into the ride or will just turn off immediately after holding down the button, then other days is works all day (driving me made:). Great product if only it work and does what the company claim it does. Venture please look at your QA it is very frustrating. Could be a stingy contracted factory taking short cuts.

Decent gloves but not worth it
Owned these gloves for a year now and I cannot recommend them. They are at least functional in that they turn on and provide heat.
Pro:
-Soft interior
-Good fit
-Built in temp control
-Decent manufacturer support
Con:
-Not waterproof, at all, do not get these gloves wet. The wires are not insulated and will corrode. Also, you will be shocked if you turn them on while wet.
-No wrist retention, gloves will simply slip off
-Connectivity patches wear right off when introduced to velcro

ELECTROCUTION!
I bought these gloves at the Orlando AIM Expo Oct 2016 The salesman assured me that the gloves are waterproof. That's a LIE!
I rode from Natchez Ms to Pensacola FL 12-31-16 I started off in a lite rain with 48 degree temp, within the first 30 min I felt my hands getting wet, and buy the first stop (120 miles) the gloves are soaked and VERY HARD to get off and on. After the first stop I kept using the gloves and about 10 min in to the second leg of the trip I notice a tingling in my hands, the setting was on med so I switch to low the tingling eased up, I switch to high and about crashed the bike! It felt worse than a 9 volt battery on your tongue! I immediately unplugged the gloves and rode the rest of the second leg with cold wet hands. The second stop I had my brother put his hand in one of glove and turn it on, he jumped back so fast the glove came unplugged! He said WTH! He put his Gerbings back on and waved!
Thanks Venture Heat for selling a misleading DANGEROUS product! I will tell everyone I can not to buy your dangerous products!

Great customer service that helps sort out the issues.
I purchased my gloves direct from the manufacturer, after 2 days of use on of the inline voltage regulators failed rendering the left glove useless in the middle of a 250 mile 22 degree ride. They sent out a replacement for me to find out when the regulator cooked it killed the glove so they sent me out a replacement. Now they have been working great for a month. I ride a cruiser with apes so there is no hand wind protection and i only have the gloves on medium to keep my hands warm at 70 on a 20 degree day. I highly recommend them but be prepared to deal with customer service once or twice to get them sorted out. On another note I think they sorted out the controller issue as they work great for me just make sure you don't accidentally unplug them as that will give you an issue. I don't know why there is a high setting my guess is its for somebody from Florida who decided to ride in Ottawa in February.
