Put on 2013 Sportster 48
These pipes are sick. The sound is perfect (deep and loud like a harley should sound). Compared to a friend's V&H Short Shots, these sound much better at idle and on the road.

Installation was straightforward, except removing the stock pipes. You'll need a lot of WD40, an extra set of hands, and some latex/rubber gloves to keep the sweat off the pipes. Once the stock one came off, installing the V&H Straight Shots was very easy (don't forget to remove the metallic-rubber looking gasket from the stock pipes that go to the crossover bar).

Easy, sounds great
Uninstalling the stock HD mufflers and installing these new V&H Straighshot mufflers was easier than I thought it would be. I bought the V&H quite baffle and installed it in the muffler first, which I thing was easier than installing the baffler after the muffler is on the bike. The whole thing is super simple. Just follow the instructions. I'm very pleased with the deep sound and the straightshot look. Revzilla shipped very quickly too.

Really fantastic mufflers
What a great deal. These sound incredible. They make my 2014 48 sound like an actual Harley. Yes, they are LOUD, especially when idling. While riding, I wear a full face Biltwell Gringo, and honestly, I really do not notice the volume. They are well made, and really easy to install. The chrome is top notch. For the price, I'm not sure I could have found nicer mufflers. And yes, I did notice a slight in crease in power, especially starting from a dead stop. Best single thing I've done to my bike.
