The worst
Ordered Standard medium and large. Plus medium, small.

1. The sizing chart is completely incorrect. Hips are off by about 5 inches. Sleeves off by 2inches.

2. The elbow armour is placed incorrectly. Doesn't actually cover elbow.

3. The collar goes past the hairline into the helmet.

4. The massively stupid design of adding a rain head liner (whatever its called) only adds bulk to an already bulky collar.

5. The arms on all sizes are the same. Tight! Forget layering up.

6. The jacket bulks up around shoulders on all sizes preventing one from turning your head in a full face.

7. Plus sizing..I was confused with this one but ordered anyway. Unless you are 5'8, have GGG boobs, a belly with triplets, anorexic arms, an unusually long neck and are perhaps from an alien planet..I can not think of one single woman rider or not who would fit in this jacket.

8. Why a snap in liner? Cheaper to produce than a zip in? Cause I guarantee a zipin is warmer than a snap in. Liner is useless.

I consider this jacket unsafe due to the misplacement of armour, an obscenely bulky collar and shoulder bulk that impedes my ability to turn my head...to ya know...avoid things like death.

The computer sizing program they used for this jacket is wrong and I can guarantee not a single human ever tried this jacket on before churning them out for production. I sent all sizes back. What happened Tourmaster. You used to know what you were doing!

Provides everything I wanted this jacket to provide
I have had this jacket a little over a week now, and I got to put it through some paces over the weekend.

We made a 350 mile round trip up the CA coast to the Vintage Motorcycle Museum in Solvang, and back, and I was thoroughly pleased with the jacket. I rode with a heated jacket liner underneath, having removed the other liner that came with the jacket. I didn't turn the heat on until we were on our way home at night. I know definitely that there will be lots of rides where the heat won't be needed, just the jacket and maybe its liner will be more than enough, and am pleased with that option.

I wanted a jacket that was windproof, and desired to not have to layer up underneath. I have a Rev'it AirWave 2, and it provides balanced airflow, is lighter, and in moderately cool (mid upper 60s) temps I can ride with a heated vest and be comfortable with the windchill taken into affect. But when the temps are in the lower 60s/upper 50s, some heat gets wicked out by the wind, and I take steps backward if I am going to add multiple layers under the mesh jacket. So, I wanted a jacket that would eliminate the airflow impact and allow the heat to stay on me and not out the mesh, and allow me to ride comfortably in 40 and 30 degree temps in the future, and not be bundled thick.

This jacket does that. It allowed no air to leak. I have no immediate intention of riding with vents open because that isn't my need. They are there if I ever decide to use them. For this day’s ride, I was kept warm and very comfortable coming home at speed in low/mid 50 temps. Temps got up to 78 while heading for the coast, and I was still very comfortable, unvented. (If I found I had a need for the venting, I think it would be best to not be on the road trying to set them up. Set them up and then get underway. Otherwise I would probably just zip down my jacket a bit and hunch my shoulders periodically to move air inside).

I sized out for the medium, but took it up to the large, as the armor on the shoulders rode a little high. I could feel the edge resting on my shoulder rather than settled over my shoulder where it belonged. The large fit much better. Arm length is great. The snaps tightening the arm girth allow me to bring down the room a bit and keep the armor fit tighter. That works. A lot of pockets, the hand warmer pockets feel good and are positioned well for just resting the hands in them.

The drop in back, oh, that is great! Nice and long, covers the rump well sitting up right, but especially when tucking for some fun. The jacket has light elastic at each hip, and that is a nice touch, as it keeps the hip line tucked in next to the body and not loose or flared out. No air flow up the side. I also really like the fact that the back rump pocket has side zippers rather than a zipper across the top. It retains it's sleek look, it does not look like a pocket attached to the outside of the coat back. I found its side zippers easily accessible while wearing the jacket.

Lots of adjustability with the waist straps, reversible front zipper so the bottom can be opened a bit for better bike sitting, but I didn't need to use it. The cut is slightly tapered for the female form, and there is plenty of bust room for a deep breath.

I bought the light grey/gunmetal, and it is very attractive. The style looks good on both guys and gals (my husband has his own Transition 5 jacket, bought after our evaluation of mine).

After a lot of research and comparison, I bought this jacket to fill MY particular needs, and it does that quite well. I have jackets for warmer weather, and I wanted this for colder weather. It fits that bill for me.

From the pictures of this, because there is no review of the Women's version, has the fit been designed for a woman, or are the belts just pulled in more to give it an illusion of a waist?
Sarah E on Jan 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Having bought the jacket, I can now answer my own question, it is not radically cut for the female form, but it is NOT a pulled in version of the male jacket. It has a slightly more tapered cut, and fits well.
