It does the job
I wanted something that would negate the need for a backpack for every ride. I always keep some minimal gear on hand. First aid kit, a good knife, some hand warmers, a small fuel bottle on occasion. These all fit with room to spare. I can even throw a pair of sneakers in when I ride to the gym. It also has a pad that protects the paint on the rear fender. If you want modest storage at a modest price, this fits the bill.

Great in town errand bag, ok overnight bag
Nice, semi-rigid bag to sit on the tail of my Honda Valkyrie's luggage rack. It's the right size for a small trip to the store and I could see a pair of converse, clothes, and toiletries fitting in it for an overnight trip without trouble. It has an interior pocket to hold it's rain cover, and two exterior side pockets that could hold keys/wallet/phone charging peripherals.

The 3 quick release straps aren't super easy to take off, and it doesn't come with a shoulder strap to use it as a backpack. If you parked at a motel it'd be worth the trouble to take the bag off. Otherwise, my bag will sit there semi-permanently. The bag does have a hand strap at the top to carry it around with.

The mounting system does make it very solid on the road, granted my luggage rack sits under it. My passenger also couldn't feel it behind her as the bag's sissy bar pad has some cushion in it.

It's my everyday bag for the bike and I'm happy with it for that purpose. Construction seems plenty solid, and I'm expecting a good 5 years of use out of it with normal wear and tear.

Does this bag have back pack straps for transporting off the bike?

BEST ANSWER: surprisingly, the tourmaster site (manufacturer) has no more info than what is here. same text and same 3 photos.
I'm also interested in knowing how easy it is to install and remove the bag form the bike, if there are backpack straps, things like that.
