SW-MOTECH Skid Plate Yamaha FZ-07 / XSR700 / MT-07

Whether you are getting stuck in the mud or running in a desert rally, the SW-MOTECH Skid Plate is a great piece of protection for your motorcycle’s fragile underbelly.

These skid plates are laser cut from a highly-durable aluminum alloy - 4.0mm thick aluminum is used for the base plate and 2.5mm thick aluminum is used for the side plates. The base plate is meant to take any direct impact and the side plates wrap around the engine block to provide both bottom and side protection. Unlike other skid plates which are welded together at the folds, these skid plates are held together by the same punch-rivet technology found on most modern german cars.

SW-MOTECH works closely with multiple motorcycle manufacturers on designing many OEM accessories. The information gathered from this is directly carried over into the design of SW-MOTECH products. This means SW-MOTECH products fit as good or even better than stock equipment.

Includes a cut-out for oil drain bolt to allow for easy oil changes.
