Great for mounting on engine guards
This is a great waterproof bag. I use it for my general tools and mount it on the GIVI engine guard, though it was made to fit on the SW-MOTECH engine guards. I uploaded a picture for you guys to see.

Great waterproof bag but..
But this things is small, which was exactly what I personally wanted. I was happy with the various mounting options. I do not like tank bags but this would work, mounting this on my crash bars was not an option. I personally think it's silly since well they are crash bars and well I do drop my expensive bike. I mounted mine to my pelican case, had a change of clothes inside and quickly disconnected it and brought inside my tent. I will confirm this is 100% waterproof.

It work well, and it costs serious money
After a 1,700 mile extended weekend ride in all kinds of conditions, I can give the DryBag 80 a thumbs up. It works great as a crash guard bag, and I recommend if for consideration to anybody looking for a bag that will work well on and off road, even on non-SW-MOTECH guards.

Positives:
+ Simple and functional mounting system. Attached solidly to OEM Ducati crash guards without a problem.
+ Stays put on road and off, doesn’t flop around.
+ The shape is functional and makes it very versatile. I was able to fit two sets of rain gear and two sets of running shoes across two bags.
+ Delivers on the waterproof promise. Rode them in the rain and everything inside was perfectly dry.

Negatives:
- Pricey, but they deliver on the promise of function. By no means a great value, but a solid buy.
- After the ride, there were some fibers coming out of the seams. No negative impact yet, but will have to monitor.

I wanted something to hold my tools while riding. Looks great on my vstrom's GIVI engine guard, though it's made for SW-MOTEC guards.

Bought two to have extra room to carry stuff and strap to my crash bars. Plan to use for lightweight items like running shoes and clothes, rain suit(s), bike cover, etc. Already have a top case, tank bag, and some dry-bag saddle bags. The extra packing space will especially make traveling 2-up easier.

Done enough Kriega for now so checking out SW motech . Conical shape may work better for some of my potential mountings an cross over to my future enduro . Kriega is really nice stuff but not sure if the rip stop outer bag would hold up as well off road i.e. Branches ,rocks ,and get offs.

Does this bag have a separate liner, or is it a single layer bag?
Also, what color is the inside of the bag?
Craig G on Apr 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No liner came with mine. It's a single layer bag. the interior is long, deep and gets smaller at the bottom. The inside color is medium gray. Similar to that on the outside of the bag. I hope that helps.
Are there 3 or 4 point tie-down system??
