Excellent for price. Does the job.
I have a Suzuki 650 that I use for 2 purposes: local trips (shopping, etc.) and riding twisty mountain roads for fun. I do not do long distance touring. Needed saddlebags/panniers to carry groceries, etc., and to carry an extra layer of clothes, food, first aid kit, water, etc., for trips into the mountains.

Mounting the steel frames required about an hour of me working slowly by myself. They connect under the rear pegs and under the rear carrier.

These saddlebags work fine for my purposes. They have a large wide flat plastic inner frame which creates the shape. They can be overstuffed because the top entry flap is extra large (would be good for motorcycle camping, etc.) The color is not exactiy gray, it is gray/green. Cannot be locked. Will hold my helmet, an HJC modular. Completely waterproof so far.

Less expensive than the hard cases I reviewed before this purchase.

dakar panniers not the greatest
I just purchased these new a few months ago. I have to say initially I was pleased with the quality of the bags and how easy installation was...Then my opinion changed after a few rides. I noticed the plastic backing of the bags (the part that clicks to the frame) was not staying in place. I have never filled these bags close to capacity. I just don't feel they are very safe as the only thing keeping them held on to the bike are the velcro straps. If it wasn't for this one issue I would be very pleased with them, they are good in every other way.
