Possible to use on 2008
If you have the SW Motech Crashbars you have the pieces to make this work but you'll need to take a bandsaw to one of the spacers used by the crashbars. I agree that this is not a 1 beard installation as it takes some time, a swing arm stand, and a automotive brake spring tool would help.

As far as the actual use, I love this thing. It makes loading the side boxes easier, I can oil the chain when the bike's on it, and it makes me a little less nervous when I have to park on a side to side slope. If you've never used a centerstand it takes some getting used to and you have to make sure to have the kickstand out if you're going to put the centerstand up OR down. There's probably something saying that you're not supposed to use this as a ride-off stand but at home I park pointing down on a slight hill and I can rock it off the stand, toss the kickstand up while rolling, put it in gear and off I go.

Overall, I'd recommend this product.

This is not a 1 beard installation.
I will leave another review after installation is completed and I have tried the center stand in the wild, but this is a quick review of the installation. The instructions work pretty well for everything except the engine mounting bolt. It is very unclear. I had to download the service manual from Kawasaki and look under engine installation. Everything is straight forward except for this section of the installation. You have to remove the rear engine mount bolt and replace it with a SW-Motech part. This is a trellis type frame so you will need to rig some type of floor jack with a wood block to secure the engine. This will be very difficult with one person. You need to apply upward pressure to the engine while trying to snake the old bolt out. It runs from one side to the other by passing directly through the bottom rear engine casing.

Once I set up the proper support rig and get this installed, I will leave a more detailed review.

Need tires and have no other GOOD way to get the wheels off, one at a time or otherwise, in order to have the tires changed. Bringing the whole bike in is about $110 additional charge above and beyond the tire change, so this makes sense.

Using a track stand to lift the rear of my Versys for chain maintenance is a nuisance. I've been wanting a centerstand, and this is the first aftermarket centerstand that has been offered for the Versys.

Will this stand fit the 2015 Versys LT?

BEST ANSWER: Don't know. Go to their website and put in the type of bike you have, where they ask, and they will tell you if they have a stand for that bike. They'll also show you a bunch of other stuff they have for your bike.
