The last shoes you'll ever wear.
I must say, without a single doubt, these are the most stylish and beautiful shoes I've ever owned. On or off the bike these kill. The leather is amazing and somehow refuses to get beat up. I would've preferred if they weren't pre guffed up, but it does help you to forget about babying them.

They fit a bit tight at first, but like all leather they literally grow on you. Even before forming they fealt amazing and protective. I am a 10.5 US and ordered the 44 EU. They are still a bit tight with thick socks but I feel the 45 would have been too loose and caused problems if I were to go one size larger.

I shall add, these DO have removable insouls, and the shoes make the most lovely of ker-clack sounds, like cowboy boots, when you walk. Heads do look up when you mossey on by, be aware of this.

I've uploaded some photos. Note that they look black under normal circumstances, I put them under a reveal light to show the details but it made them appear browner than they normally are.

A great riding boot with a versatile style
I've had these over a month now. I wear these boots during my daily commute to the law office in rush hour traffic and wear them throughout the day under my slacks/suit. My review is based on that experience, as it is so far.

First and Foremost, These are great under the pant leg boots. They look great under both jeans and slacks. When you consider that you are effectively getting two sets of quality boots in one pair, the Bang for the Buck is really of the charts. It was this quality that made me pull the trigger on this purchase. They did/do have some slight issues(that I'll describe in a few seconds), but If you are on the edge thinking that you might like them for the style but also need them to function as a riding boot, I strongly recommend them.

First, lets describe how they function in the real world. Because if you are considering the style of these boots, you likely want to wear them after you are done riding.
The Italian leather feels fantastic, both to the hand and to the foot. I've had couple girls I know at work just "walk up" an start rubbing on them, and that's gotta be pretty rare for most men. The leather "breaths" about how you would imagine expensive leather dress shoes/boots do; not terribly well, but enough to be comfortably worn all day without any persisting discomfort. They can get a little warm, but you'll be hard pressed to find a leather boot that doesn't. The shaft/pipe of the boots is the first thing that does loosen up, and my pair have probably gained an extra half inch or so in diameter. Not enough to noticed under slacks. I ordered my set exactly to my size, knowing that they would over time "stretch" as they wore in. When they first arrived, they fit like Italian/European shoes typically fit for what I've been told is "an American foot". That is to say that they were Tight and Narrow, a little uncomfortable initially upon putting them on. I wore them around the house for about an hour the first night I got them, and my foot felt slightly sore around the small toes. The next morning, my foot felt fine and i put them on and went to work, with a spare set of shoes available on the chance they became unbearable. I was surprised to find that this was not the case. There was some momentary discomfort, but mostly due to not being used to new shoes. Over time they have broken in and my foot has gotten very used to them. They also have a great pronounced boot "step" sound when walking on hard floors like tile and hardwood if that is something that appeals to you. My old riding shoes and dress shoes would often squeaked when walking down the office hall or in the courtroom and would often catch snickers from other attorneys. Truly first world problems...lol. Simply stated, they pass very easily for an expensive dress shoe/boot.

While riding, The sole is rather stiff, but not so stiff that you can't ride very comfortably on your toes. I find this generally a desirable thing in boots for a sports/standard bike, but it feels just as comfortable on the forward pegs my brother's Vulcan S has. I do have some concern about the wear on the left foot not matching the right foot at all, and they even include a little elastic pad to help alleviate that concern. However, I found this pad a little uncomfortable to wear while riding. The pad caused issues with occasionally catching on the shift leaver or missing the part of my foot in contact with the shifter anyway witch totally defeated the purpose. I gave it a few tries and eventually just started leaving it in my pocket. Right now, there is no discernible "extra wear" on the left foot, but on a longer timeline this may change. With a little extra leather care, It won't affect my happiness with this pair of boots even if it does. If that time comes, I'll buy another pair without hesitation.

I LIKE the Oxford!
Ok. I have been looking for a boot that I can wear to work where I don't have to change from my motorcycle boots to my work shoes.

I work for a bank and it's a pain to get dressed in my suit, put on my riding boots, ride to work then change into my dress shoes at work. It also looked ridiculous being in a suit and motorcycle boots.

The stylmartin oxford boots meet my needs for style and protection. In fact, they far exceed my expectations in the style department.

They are darker than the picture and that is a good thing. They look good. Not as distressed looking as they are pictured.
Very good grain of leather! Supple. The leather feels and smells like fine leather.

Fit.
I wear a size 9.5 most of the time. In most motorcycle boots, I wear 43 euro or size 10 US.
I got these boots in sis 42 and they fit like a glove. I was expecting them to be super tight but they are a great fit out the box. They ate tight but not painfully so and they will break in wonderfully.

The soles are really slippery! When you first put them on, be careful on hardwood or tile floors!
On concrete they are better but still kinda slick. You want to scuff the soles u up a bit just like you would with dress shoe leather soles.

The boots look fantastic with a suit or slacks. They even look good with jeans.

Protection.
They are protective but they are not alpinestars smx.
The toe box is pretty soft compared to a traditional riding boot but much better than Jordans of loafers.
The heel cockpit is somewhat softer than traditional riding boots too but again, much better than regular street shoes.
Ankle protection is good and actually covers your ankle bones.
The sole is stiffer than you might think bit still comfortable enough to walk around in and wear to work, work all day and then come home.

So far, I am very impressed by these boots.

I had purchased the alpinestars parlor boots bit did not like how the fit our how they looked. They are not anywhere near as comfortable and nowhere near as nice or as good looking as the stylmartin oxford boots.

I will write another review in a month or two so I can update as to how well the boots wear over time.

1 year later... I STILL like my Oxfords
It's been just about a year in these boots and I gotta tell ya. These boots still rock! They have held up quite well over the past year and I RIDE! I ride to work just about everyday and I wear these boots to work daily. I have polished them and that's about it. They still look and feel great. They have broken in and they have their own character to them as any good leather shoe / boot would.
They have resisted scuffs but they ate not scuff proof. I will need to re-sole them soon enough but after a year of riding, the soles have held up exceedingly well.
I had a gsxr 1000 when I purchased these boots.i moved from the gsxr to a ZX14r. Believe me.... I RIDE! I don't pussy foot on these bikes and I ride in (and around) traffic. These boots have seen rain, cold weather (Washington DC cold weather) snow (not on purpose) warm weather and HOT weather. they have seen newly paved roads and roads so bad you would think you were riding on straight gravel and pebbles. Through it all these boots have taken everything I have thrown at them and they still look damn good and I still trust them to protect my feet. They are still not alpinestars smx but they are still, after a whole year of hard riding, the best boots for dressing in professional attire and protecting your feet.
RECOMMENDED!

A classic in the making
I've been wearing this boot for about two days now. It has been with me on the bike, as a part of my semi-formal work outfit (I'm an elementary school teacher), at a formal social gathering, and walking around town on the weekend.

I spent a long time waiting to find a boot that had some style and character as well as protection--and after about two years of wearing some cheap Harley boots I think I've finally found home with these. Not only is the styling top notch, they are tough, durable boots that are going to be able to protect me much better in a crash (really happy with the maleolus protection), handle the elements, and act as my day to day boot.

As far as sizing, I am generally a 10 1/2 US. I went with the size 43, which according to the size chart corresponds with 10 US. Right now the boots are comfortable as well as SNUG. They're fairly stiff, and a tight fit, but that's not necessarily a bad thing on a motorcycle boot, and I'm anticipating that they'll break in a bit as I continue to wear them.

Lastly something that isn't mentioned here on Revzilla is that they come with a little elastic sleeve with a leather panel that can be slipped over your left boot to prevent markings from your shifter. This was a pleasant surprise, however the only oversight with this seems to be that wearing the sleeve takes all of the grip away from your left foot when you set it down on the pavement.

Amazing boots!
these Oxford boots are not just the nicest motorcycle boots I have ever owned they are the nicest boots I have ever owned - period.
I bought these as a boot I could wear to the office after commuting.
I wear a 9.5 and bought a 42 - perfect fit - a bit snug when you zip them up but totally comfy.
They arrived last week - first ride on the weekend - lots of stability and control and as another reviewer noted a nifty little shift protector comes in the box to keep them looking good. As a testament to the comfort - I rode to the airport today, sat on the flight, wore them to work, to the hotel and then out for the evening. Just took them off after nearly 12 hours. Never once wanted to take them off - and they are new! Just kept looking at them thinking - niiiice boots!
As another reviewer said - a classic in the making.

Stylish & Comfortable
I was looking for a pair of mc boots that I could wear in to a meeting and still look great with a suit or business attire and came across these boots. (I'd also always wanted a pair of Oxfords.) I walk into meetings and people have no idea that I rode a motorcycle. I love it! And I still look sharp!
They also look SUPER stylish on the BMW R1150R - the bike I ride to business meetings.
In the couple of months that I have had them they have broken in a feel great. As comfortable or more-so than any of my dress shows (and yes my dress shoes are very comfortable).
They provide good traction for when I am stopped at a light. The leather soles on my dress shoes was not quite the comforting factor I wanted when putting my feet down at a stop light.

If you are looking for a full protection boot with full comfort and great looks for business attire I know of no other alternative that fits the bills as perfectly as this boot!

Best dress boot on the market.
Really struggled to find a boot that I could wear to commute and also use in the office. These are the best option I could find. I also considered the Dainese Germain, but they were not as high-cut or as 'formal'.
Great boots, comfortable and look good. However in wet conditions I do get a damp spot on the toes on both feet. The gear lever protector pad is a novel idea, but I have not bothered with it and the leather still looks fine.

Cool/warm weather commuting boot, looks at home with a suit
I am a high powered attorney, doing high powered attorney type stuff. This requires me to ride my '16 R1200RS to court wearing a suit under my protective gear. Not only do the Stylmartin Oxfords keep my feet protected, they look at home with a suit. I wear them 4-5 days per week with a suit or riding jeans and a polo shirt in the office. They are all-day comfortable, and in SoCal winter (meaning down to low 40's at night), it's all the boot you need. My feet have been warm and dry all winter, through some sprinkles, but no real hard rain. The Oxford has been my every-day moto boot since purchasing them from Zilla late last year.

They have worn well, some scuffs from the shifter (I don't use the little toe protector condom that is included with the boots). The zippers are incredibly convenient... laces are the enemy of anyone who rides regularly. I've worn these for 10 hours per day 4-5 days in a row without any issues.

What else can I tell you... my Allen Edmonds dress shoes are size 9.5 EEE, so the Oxfords comfortably fit a wide foot. I get lots of compliments, and they look better the more they get used. I hit the boots with a rag and Lexol cleaner and conditioner once a month or so, haven't bothered with a real shoe polish. The boots have a nice, matte worn-in look.

I've got about 3,000 miles of commuting with them so far and no complaints, other than one - it's not going to be a SoCal summer option. The waterproof liner means that they get warm. Anything over 80-85 degrees, and you'll likely be wanting more ventilation. Does Stylmartin make something similar with venting for summer weather? I hope so, because I have been thoroughly impressed with the Oxfords.

The best in its class!!!
These have got to be the best "dress motorcycle boots", reading all the reviews, they are exactly as rated. I am deliberately looking for one person who does not like these and have not found that person yet. Most people think they are regular dress shoes. I cant find any negatives with these, only advise is: I would not use the little strap thingy that comes with the shoes to prevent your gear from scuffing the shoes, it turns the left shoe into roller blades and you lose all traction on that side. Perfect shoes otherwise, I even wear them when I don't have my bike they're are so good.
