An outstanding cold weather pant
First the highlights. Lots of protection on the knees and hips. Good quality sewing and material. Waterproof. An interesting gaiter that goes into your boot, while the outer shell goes over the boot (not sure of the benefit, but I liked it). Armor is moveable so that you can get it just right around your knees. A removable liner that has got to be useful in super cold (I'll never use it). Integrated suspenders keeps the pants in place. Cost is moderate compared to some other European brand pants. Even though I got the "robust" size, the length of the pants aren't horribly long (like other pants in large size). It appears that the inseam is around 34-35, which is good for someone with a 32 inseam on a bike with boots.

Some lowlights. It's hard to put on the pants over boots. The "gaiter" on the lower leg is really hard to open up to pull your pants over the boot. Absolutely no venting, so these pants cannot even pretend to be useful in summer. Unless it rains a lot where you are. The pockets are not waterproof (I found a little tag in each pocket that warned me)–don't put your iPhone in your pocket if it's raining.

Overall, I think it's a great pair of pants at the price range. I compared the quality of it to cheaper brands, and it's obvious why other brands are cheaper. I think it has the quality and design that could cost you another $200-300 in another brand.

I highly recommend it. Unless you're riding in summer heat.

Comfortable and appears rugged
I'm six feet and 180 lbs and ordered size XL. Fit is pretty good with the leg length being slightly long while standing but good for the riding position. I use the suspenders but there are also belt loops. Wore them without the thermal liner on an all day ride with temps between 58-65 and was very comfortable. With the liner and the right long underwear, these would work for pretty cold weather riding. Haven't worn them in the rain yet. Like the armor and overall fit and finish. Will consider other Spidi products in the future.

High Quality, tight European fit.
These pants are very well built, high quality, great look, should be waterproof. These pants were sized as "robust" in my normal jean size they were just too tight. I am 6'4" and 260. The "robust" sizing is just too small. I sent them back, not because of quality, they are just cut too small. I ended up ordering a pair of Olympia pants, with a more "American" cut.
Revzilla was awesome, made every effort to find me a product that fits.

Outstanding winter pants
Absolutely 100% waterproof, even in "severe aerial flood warning" winter rainstorm at interstate speeds! With the included quilted thermal liner, they're good down to 32F with only some mild chill. I swapped the liner for a Gerbing's heated pant liner and now I'm good down to 17F (and probably lower) in total comfort. Excellent windproofing.

Tight fit even ordering one size down. Very good cut, though. Slim and comfortable. Not bad walking around off the bike. Looks about as sexy as waterproof motorcycle snowpants can look. Love the elastic boot bands. My old pants would always ride up over the boot and let in water. Also love the suspenders!

The armor digs into my knees some but I think I just need to adjust it more carefully.
