Shogun Frame Sliders Honda RC 51

The Shogun Frame Slider features CNC-machined pucks made of a shatter-proof, abrasion-resistant and UV resistant polymer. This polymer has been race proven to keep your bike sliding and dispersing energy in the event of a crash. Each puck is then press fitted with an aluminum bushing to reduce the chance of the puck tearing off of its mounting points. Every single Shogun Frame Sliders kit includes high tensile strength and corrosion resistant hardware that puts them ahead of the competition. For kits with off-set brackets, Shogun machines them all from military aircraft grade aluminum with a black anodized finish.

Shogun Frame Sliders are designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider!

  • CNC machined bike specific pucks
  • Great frame protection
  • High grade steel bolts
  • Aluminum Inserts
  • Sold in pairs
  • Carbon S5 Sliders include black anodized T-6061 aluminum end caps (applicable models)

Does installation require cutting the plastics on the "02 honda RC-51 ? And would I be able to use the shogun frame slider end caps for this product/
Steve K on Jan 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hi steve, i have fitted to a 2001 fire blade 929 with no mods to plastics, they use the front side engine mounts bolt holes to secure these, they came with the required bolts, as for the end caps i am unsure, i dont believe end caps would fitt but i have mot seen them.., doesnt really help you with the rc51 though. I believe you would need to remove the grill in either side of the fairings to be able to fitt these on an RC51, i have not had a look what is behind the grill to see what else would be involved. But quick answer is yes some mods would need to be done but no cutting of plastics
