Cheek Pads; Don't Take it Lightly
(Before the review on the helmet, quick shipping side note. I thought that this product was going to be the first time Revzilla did not ship me something within 24 hours as guaranteed. I was stunned but ok with it. It was ordered on a weekday at 3am and did not receive any shipping info the next day. HOWEVER, when I did finally receive shipping info, the helmet was already in the truck for delivery. It literally took me 2 days to receive this helmet from the day it was ordered. Touche Revzilla, touche...)

As you'll start to see once you scroll down to the other reviews, the cheek pads are the biggest con of this helmet. I thought people were just fluffing it when I first read the reviews but it turns out they were right. They press pretty tightly on the cheeks and make me look pretty funny looking when the front face is up. I have ridden 500 miles with this helmet so far and the pads are starting to become a bit more bearable. However, I dont think they will ever fully stop from pressing against my cheeks abnormally by just wearing the helmet and hoping for the best. It is suggested to remove the cheek pads and leaving them under a heavy book over the night in order to flatten them a bit more.

I installed my Sena SMH-10 onto the helmet as well. The cheek pads have a plastic like hook tab that clicks inside the outer rim of the helmet (where the Sena product mounts usually attach to) Maybe I am a derp, but it was difficult to get the tabs back into place when I removed them in order to insert my Sena speakers, but I eventually got them to go back into place.

Other than that, the helmet is great. The finish is nice and everything feels solid mechanically wise (face shield, drop down sun visor switch.) A few minor setbacks but overall I am a happy customer!

A Whole Lot for Your Money
I buy about one or two helmets a year and have to say this is one of the best I've ever purchased for street riding and commuting (I have others for the track). The price is very good and for that you get a great modular helmet that has good ventilation and the internal visor - I got tired of making room in my limited backpack storage for a second visor especially in the winter months (California "Winter" = slightly less sunshine).

I found that the size seems to run spot on which (depending on how well one measures ones head) may seem just a tad on the smaller size of the scale, but I bought a Large for my oval-shaped, 59.5cm head and it fit perfectly. Mind you it fits snug, but it fits VERY well all the way around and doesn't flop when I whip my head from side to side. It's like a hard shell extension of my skull and I really like that. My previous favorite modular was the HJC CL-MAXII, which is still a good helmet and I continue to use it when riding with my wife because I have the Bluetooth hookups installed, but going from that to this is from 'good' to 'great'.

A few nice features I've noticed and will point out is the breath deflector which is kinda weak/small, but does a decent job of moving most of my breath away from the visor and not allowing it to fog as easily as many of my other helmets. Another is the positive lock of the visor - just a little more pressure on the lip and it creates a positive seal that kept my face dry in the rain and when going 130+ MPH in an upright, supermoto body position did not force the visor open when doing head-checks as would happen with my HJC. Lastly, I bought the black/red model and was very impressed with the metallic-like black paint. I'm not into logos and brands, so the big 'S' on the forehead put me off a bit, but up close it simply looks gorgeous and unlike some other big-name brands it blends in well with the scheme instead of sticking out like a bad marketing project designed by a junior "brand executive".

A couple minor gripes I have is that the internal visor slide is a bit cheap and clunky, but it gets the job done and (most importantly) stays in place once you set it to the position above your nose that you like. I also would have preferred it to be a shade darker as this seems to be akin to a "light smoke" tint. The other gripe I have is the upper rim of the helmet comes down very low on my brow, so I have to kind of tuck my brow under the edge of the helmet otherwise it will push my brow skin down over my eyes a bit - this is different from my other helmets which I now realize have a larger viewport. Part of this is also due to the snug fit (which I do like), so it's a petty gripe.

Minor whining aside, I wholeheartedly recommend this helmet for street riding. I am planning to buy one or two more and keep them in their box on the shelf for when I wear this one out! :-)

Cool Helmet
I love the design of this helmet, only issue I have is that the cheeks pinch in a bit on me, almost feel that if I wreck, I might break my jaw, and it fits great everywhere else, after it breaks in it'll be great. I wish it had the micro ratcheting closing instead of the double d rings, and this helmet whistles a bit too, it's not super bad but it's there.

It's a well equipped $200 helmet.

Great helmet
Bought this helmet for my boyfriend for his birthday last month. He loves it! Thank you to Revzilla for the comprehensive reviews and videos. This helmet looks awesome in person - even better than I thought it would. Was impressed with the fast shipping time. We had to return the L that I originally ordered and re-order an XL even though his current Bell helmet is a L (after measuring his head, XL was the correct size). Seems to be true to size but make sure you measure! Return process was pretty easy, although would be nice if Revzilla offered free returns, at least for the first size exchange. The helmet is very lightweight, stylish, and has great features. He loves the fact that it has a drop down sun visor built in, plus can easily be linked up with a bluetooth headset. Like others said in reviews, the cheek pads are very tight, but other than that, it fits comfortably. He hasn't worn it much so no updates on noise/riding comfortability at this time. Great helmet though, especially for the price.

Great Helmet, Fits Tight, Order a Size Larger Than Usual
This is a great helmet. Looks very cool and feels extremely protective. The fit is tight. After reading the other reviews, I ordered a size larger than our previous helmets for both myself and my wife. I am glad I did. The sun shield is awesome, especially for those of us who wear glasses. We do not have to stop, take off our shades, and put our regular glasses on. My wife and I both recommend this helmet.

Great Value
This helmet is light, quiet, stylish and a great value. Got the red highlighted one - nice. I have a 22.75" diameter head (neutral/normal I think) and a medium fits great (down over my head and not on top). However other reviewers are right, the cheek pads are way too tight on my jaws. Scorpion really needs to address. Not bad enough to return helmet but hoping break in will address.

Great Modular helmet
This is my first modular helmet and I really like it. Having always worn Arai, I wasn't sure I would like it but I wore it this past weekend on a long ride and it was comfortable, light and blocked noise. I like being able to lift up the shield or the whole front part of the helmet. The built in sun shield is adequate and I didn't need extra sun protection. I would definitely recommend this helmet.

Built in sun shield is handy
This helmet is light and quiet. It was a bit tight in the cheeks right away but that is to be expected with a new helmet. The flip down sun visor is great. I can see the edge of it but it is not a big deal. The place it stops is out of my normal line of sight. This helmet does fit my glasses nicely. I was concerned about this when I bought it but between the modular face and the quick wick liner it works nice. The liner is super soft and comfy even with my current beard. All in all I would recommend this helmet to anyone looking for a modular helmet.

Sweet Helmet - Super Agressive - Amazing price!
Oh man, this helmet is EVRYTHING! Ordered this, a Sena SMH10 Universal Bluetooth Headset, Scorpion SGS MK II Gloves, and ProGrip 719 RVGS Gel Grips for my CBR 650f. Got the Red/Black Satellite and it looks baller. Matches my Red/Black T-Rex frame sliders. Love the drop down visor. My last helmet had a tinted shield and it was a pain at night to see, problem solved. Speaker cut outs for the Sena fir perfect. Added a Go Pro on the right side. Thing is crazy comfortable and super aggressive. If you're like me - GINORMOUS head - modular is the way to go. I pre ordered the 3 XL and it fits my squash perfect. Thanks for the video review Anthony ( Spurgen for the grips). $219.00? You'd be silly NOT to get this. Thanks guys for the great service - and all the cool ZLA stickers!

Khafid W on May 1, 2017
this helmet is very comfortable, its very light. all the hinges are sturdy engage smoothly, this helmet does have the cut outs for the speakers, its a fairly affordable helmet. my only complaint is in a STRONG cross wind I get a little whistling from the seam of the front shield, I would also like to a little better device to stop the wind from coming in the front chin. I live in a cold climate and do a lot of ridding year round and in the winter this draft makes rides pretty cold.

Absolutely love this helmet! it is very comfortable and the noise dampening is great. Any helmet will have wind noise. When used on my Suzuki Vstrom and Give air flow windscreen it is super quiet, on my Harley it is a little loud, as to be expected for a touring application.

Marketed around for a good helmet that has good air-ventilation. This looked like a decent pick for the rough $200 base it costs. For me, this is a lot of money to throw down, but for protecting the old noggin, it's worth the price. Hoping that this helmet does not disappoint. Will write a review on it after some thorough usage out on the road.
