Sato Racing Frame Sliders Ducati 899 Panigale

Sato Frame Sliders feature revolver-style slider pucks that are made of hard, abrasion-resistant Delrin plastic for maximum protection in the event of a crash or lowside. The sliders are designed and developed for track use, and feature a level of abrasion resistance ideally suited to protect your bike during high speed slides. Delrin plastic, with its low friction coefficient and resilient surface, demonstrates the best performance in a slide scenario. The sliders are mounted with high-strength anodized billet aluminum brackets and collars, and chrome molybdenum bolts.

Requires no modification or cutting of OEM bodywork.

Sold in pairs.

Nice Piece Of Mind
Let me begin by saying that I did not install these. I had my bike going in for service and had the tech install them for me. I can't say how well they work (hopefully never will), but fit and finish are on point. They look like they belong on the bike, as if it was a factory option. Please reference my pictures for the fit and finish. They do not in any way interfere with riding, if that is a concern. I recommend them.

Great quality and nice finish but bad design
BUYER BEWARE!! On my 2014 Panigale 899 the sliders extend about 3-4" past the fairings and are located too close to the foot controls. Result? Smashing your shins against rock hard sliders pretty much every time stopping at a light and attempt to put your legs down. OUCH! I bought a shin guard for my right leg which helped a lot but I still bang a knee cap here and there. This design is probably ok for track use w/limited stops but DO NOT use for any other purpose. They cost more but I think the R&G setup would be better. Manufacturer says they only extend about 1" past the fairings.

Happy with look and quality
Had these Sato sliders installed on my 899 a few weeks ago at a shop and am happy with them so far. Look good and will hopefully perform well if they are ever needed (hopefully not). I cannot comment on the install since I had it completed at my Ducati dealer. Decided not to mess with it myself since it included removing engine casing bolts and suspension bolts. Bike is still under warranty so I left it up to the pros. Ridden with them on a half dozen times now and they do not interfere with my operation of the bike.
