Reviews & Questions
If you are looking for a sweater that is NOT real thick, but warm and will fit under a motorcycle jacket, I don't think you'll be disappointed. I love this product and definitely recommend it.
One thing is they are a bit mysterious when they say "wool blend". I've come to learn it's a wool-acrylic blend. Feels fine to me.

I am disappointed in the Folsom Sweater’s material. The description says “wool blend.” Now I’m not certain of the legalities involved in claiming something contains wool, but I can assure you, the wool content is very low here. It feels like straight-up polyester, and that’s a big drag. Zippers are solid, but should be heftier for grabbing while wearing gloves.
I’m baffled by the tiny zippered compartment on the right arm. It’s too small to store anything of size. I suppose you can put keys in there, but then you’ve got keys jangling around not he inside of your arm. It’s pointless and a bit weird, but kudos for trying something a bit different.
I suppose the main point of this sweater is to use it in layering for riding. I haven’t had a chance to do that because it’s still hovering around 90º in my particular part of hell, but I see no reason why one can’t layer with it. However, the material seems an odd choice for a garment intended to reduce wind and insulate. Again, the lack of actual wool is the biggest let-down here. Also, I know it would ruin the look (which is its main selling point), but I really would’ve liked front pockets.
Is it worth $100? Well, no. But I’ve never seen a sweater with quite the same 1940s booze fighter vibe, so maybe it is. I’m keeping it.
