Great "City" riding jacket
Bang For The Buck:
* Eh, it’s a little on the pricey side for what it offers

Protection & Durability:
* The leather is on the thinner side and softer when comparing it to other riding jacket. There are ups and downside to this
* Firs the UPSIDE .. it is very comfortable and light weight. It looks good and fashionable. Breaks in easier and not as stiff as the heavier jackets
* The stitching seems to be okay overall, but there is double stitching in the “crash” sections
* It has pockets for armor. I opted for the Icon D3O armor (more in the FIT section)
* The DOWNSIDE to the thinner leather is that it isn’t really made for a high speed slides. In other words, this makes a perfect City (under 45MPH) riding jacket.

Features:
* The external pockets are useless. Very small. Enough for some pocket change and a movie ticket. Anything more won’t fit.
* It has one internal pocket. It fits my 5.5” screen phone fine, but it is a tight fit
*I wish the waist adjuster was button styled and not Velcro
* This jacket is not waterproof.

Comfort:
* It feels like a normal none-riding jacket (this is a good thing)
* The collar is soft and doesn’t itch or feel discomforting like other jackets

Style:
* The MAIN reason I purchased this, it is one of the sexiest jacket’s
* The soft material makes it look fashionable (unlike the more rugged leather)

Fit:
* I am 5’ 5”, 140lbs, chest 36” (US size), and slim. I ordered a Small and it fits spot on
* It stops right at my waist, so when I sit down, it doesn’t bunch up in the gut area. The arms are perfect for a slightly aggressive stance, and the back is longer so when I am in tuck position, my back is not exposed
* As others have stated, the sleeves are tight WITHOUT the armor
* I am slim build, not muscular so there was a little bit of wiggle room to add armor. The RSD arm armor is roughly 15mm thick and rigged. This made my arms very uncomfortable and nearly returned the jacket because of it.
* I decided to try out the Icon D3O armor, it is 10mm thick and very flexible. The shoulder and arms D3O armor fit the Bristol jackets perfect. With the D3O icon, I was able to comfortably wear the jacket on and off the bike (also once the jacket breaks in a bit, should be even better).
* With everything in place and zipped up, the jacket hugs me. This is very good, so that God forbid I become a hockey puck, this jacket will not ride up anywhere

Air Flow:
* There is an inlet and exhaust port on the jacket. The airflow is “okay”
* This is a good late Spring and Early Fall jacket. It can be a summer jacket if you have a good heat tolerance.
* I wore it in 90F degree weather, and at stop lights I get pretty darn hot. But as I move it cools me just enough not to sweat.
* This jacket is best for 65F-85F weather (maybe more if you can tolerate the heat)
* There is NO WAY I am able to add a sweatshirt underneath. The only thing you can put underneath is a T-Shirt, therefor this is NOT for Cold riding

BOTTOM LINE: Honestly, there are jackets at this price range or even less that’ll give you better protection and features. However, if you want style (meaning it is not obvious you are wearing Moto gear) and protection for CITY riding, this is a great option. 85% of my riding is in the city (100% city to work) where I rarely exceed 45-50 MPH and this jacket is perfectly fine for that environment. This jacket is perfect for us slim guys (especially if you are vertically challenged). If you are a larger build fella, then I cannot see a way that this jacket would fit you. I’d look at that RSD Ronin. I’d recommend you get the RSD back protector and the ICON D3O chest and arm armor with the jacket.

great jacket but not for me
Very stylish and wonderful leather. My wife likes it and I sort of let her pick it out.

It is beautiful. However, when I put it on the neck was so tight I could barely breathe with it snapped, so I am returning it.

That is partly me. I do not like anything tight around my neck, I hate neckties and usually get shirts with neck sizes bigger than my actual size.

It is also a little too much style for me; something like the redhook or one of the Triumphs is probably more my style.

I am 6'3", 210, with a relatively big chest from swimming and a big neck from genetics. I do have a 38" waist, so a slight beer belly. I ordered the XL and it fit tight everywhere, but actually about right for a riding jacket. With the armor in it was a little tight in the chest and arms for a free range of motion.

Sleeves are super tight
This jacket fits me beautifully everywhere except the sleeve cuff. The sleeves are super tight, I can barely get my hands through them, and then I can hardly get my hands out with out help. I was given this as a gift, and fear that exchanging it for the next size up will leave me with too big of a jacket. I am 6' 1" 165lbs. I am a skinny guy and the jacket sleeves are too small in a size medium.

I called RSD and they confimed that these sleeves are super tight and recommended returning it.

Great jacket!
Very stylish, but fits one size small. I am 5'10 and 165lb, got a medium and returned it later for a large.

Great Product
I got this jacket on sale and it is awesome. Looks great, give riding protection but is not to heavy. At full price this product is alittle pricey but if you can get it for a discount it's definitley worth the money
