expensive but satisfied
I recently purchased some Rokker jeans and wanted to share what I learned about sizing. Ahead of that, I will tell you I am 100% satisfied with the jeans. I haven't crashed tested them (and hope not to), but the look and quality of construction has met all of my expectations. If you want moto jeans that look like high end jeans - these are for sure it.

Also for context, past my leathers, I would normally where BMW City 2 pants in size Large which are great pants as well.
On sizing, I wasn't sure what size or style to go with so I ordered both the Original's & Rebel's in sizes 34x34 and 36x34. Turns out, they each have a very different cut. Jumping ahead, I will tell you I ended up keeping the Original's in 34x34. As a bechmark, my favorite jeans are a pair of Lucky 221 Original Straights in 34x32. So you know how different the Rokker dimensions are and how they compare to your favorites, I took 3 measurements from each pair. They are

1. the waist measurement (with the pants lying flat) - this was at the inside dimension where the top of your belt would normally be
2. the thigh measurement 16 inches down from the hip (with the pants lying flat) - again this was a flat outside measurement but keep in mind the pants are lined with Dynatec so the inisde dimension would be smaller
3. the measurement from the top of the front (above the button) - to the crotch seam (with the pants lying flat). The point of this measurement is to tell you how high up your waist the pants would be.

First up is my Lucky's. I love the way these fit. Perfect around the waist, not to loose but comfortable and the perfect rise. And the measurements are....

1. waist = 18"
2. thigh = 10.75'
3. crotch to waist = 10.75"

Second are the originals in both 34 & 36 x 34 lenght. Also, even though the Revzilla page doesn't mention hip pockets (and the sale rep said this model didn't have them) - they do in fact have both hip and knee pockets. More on knee armor later

Original Dimensions - these pants seem to be cut like normal straight legs with a higher than normal rise (compared to my Lucky's. For me, the 34's are a perfect fit (a little tighter than my Lucky's) in the waist and hips and the 36's were WAY to big.

1. waist = 17.50" (34x34) - 18.75" (36x34)
2. thigh = 10.50" (34x34) - 12.00" (36x34)
3. crotch to waist = 11.50" (34x34) - 12.25" (36x34)

Last up, the Rebel's - these are slimmer cut with a lower rise (but close to Lucky's). However, with slimmer cut the 36's fit me almost perfectly. They were just a little looser than the Original's I kept (34's) even though the 36's in Originals were huge on me in every way.

1. waist = 17.00" (34x34) - 18.00" (36x34)
2. thigh = 10.00" (34x34) - 10.75" (36x34)
3. crotch to waist = 9.50" (34x34) - 10.25" (36x34)

On the armor, my original plan was to use BMW NP armour I have from a pair of pants - but the knee pockets were to small. The Rokker knee armor is D3O but I would say it has moderate coverage. Certainly better than nothing but nowhere near what you would see in BMW pants. For hip armor, the BMW armor i had fit fine.

Pricey and unproven, but worth it to me
This review is based solely on my initial impressions, as I've not had a chance to crash test them (knock on wood).
This however does bring up a good point. It would be great to see a video of these being tested for abrasion resistance. Throwing a test dummy wearing these down the road at speed and showing the results would "potentially" make me feel better about this purchase.
Anyway, the fit and finish is top notch. These are heavier than the Rokker Revolution, which is made using the Schoeller material as the primary outer fabric. The Rebel uses the Schoeller material as a second layer under the denim.
These do flow air better than the Revolution, but not as well as a normal pair of jeans. FYI, I've given up wearing regular jeans on the bike, but wanted to share the comparison to help with expectations. The Rebel also don't make the "swoosh" sound while walking that the Revolution suffer from.
Fit is as described (Levis 501 off the rack). Just remember these will be a tad heavier with the Schoeller material and hip/knee armor in place, but you get used to it quickly after wearing them. Very comfortable, as the Schoeller material isn't abrasive against the skin at all and feels fine while riding (no weird rashes from rubbing while on long rides).
One issue with the pants leg is that it is a pain to get the Schoeller layer over my Daytona riding boots. It has a tendency to crawl in my boot when I'm pulling the pants leg over my boots. Best method has been to put on the pants, roll the pants leg up while turning them inside out until you get past the Schoeller layer, put on boots, and roll both the Schoeller and denim layer over your boot.
Finish is great. No weird seams like other riding jeans and easily pass for normal jeans when off the bike (even with armor installed, which was a pleasant surprise). Large flame logo on the back can be a turn off, but an untucked shirt will at least partially obscure it.
The wash of the denim is spot on for me. Subtle fading (not too light or too dark) without any weird or overly distinct whiskering. They look like a well worn pair of jeans.
For the price, I wish these would have come with armor like the Revolution. I did have to buy the Rokker d3O knee pads since they come with the Velcro needed to keep them in place on the Rebel (The Revolution seem to have a different pocket design for the knee armor that doesn't need Velcro to keep them in place). I used the d3O hip pads from my Revolution jeans and they work perfectly.
If I knew what I know now about these jeans prior to purchase, I would have still bought them. Again, a test video showing the protective qualities of the material would make me feel a lot better. But as a pair of jeans that function great as riding pants and look completely normal off the bike, these were definitely worth it to me.

SHAME ON YOU REVZILLA & ROKKER!
Really, $450 dollars for a pair of "jeans"?!?!?! Apparently that didn't matter because I pulled the trigger anyway. Shame on Revzilla for the amazing product review videos that I am addicted to and exposing me to the world of premium gear! Shame on Rokker for designing and making a pair of riding jeans that actually protect you (claimed) AND simply look like a pair of nice jeans!

I am 5' 9" 178-183 pounds. Normal to athletic build.

I bought the Rokker Oringals (33x34) and Rebels (33x34). I dont wear Levi's 501 but I do wear Levi's 559. If I can find them I wear 33x32or30. Most the time I cant find 33's so I settle for 32's or 34's. 34's are baggy on me while the 32's fit well after a day or so of breaking them in out of the wash machine. Hence, why i bought the 33's in the Rokkers. Both the Original and Rebel fit true to size. However, I decided on the Rebel for two reasons. One, I liked the wash better. Two, I liked the fit better. According to the video they claim they are cut the same. HOwever, I found that the Original had a more baggy cut in the legs/butt/crotch. I liked the slight taper of the Rebel. By no means is it a skinny jean but I feel like they will be perfect once broken in. Whereas the Oringal may be even more baggy once broken in.

I guess I also liked the fact that the Rebel has hip armor pockets. Speaking of Armor, my Klim Latitude D30 knee and hip armor fit perfectly in the Rokker Rebel (velco and all). The knee armor pocket seems like it has plenty of up/down adjustment for a multitude of riders. With hip armor in it still fits true to size and doesnt make it too tight (for me anyway). I am still getting used to thinking something is in my pocket until I realize its just the hip armor. Knee armor - while walking around in my riding boots the armor does ride on top of my boots. Thats no issue since I am used to it from my other riding pants. When I get to work I change into work boots anyway and its no issue.

The length does not seem to be an issue even though I am only 5'9". I wear 6" and 8" high boots at work everyday so that may be helping the extra length of the jeans but it doesnt look ridiculous, it looks normal. FYI - I ride in Sidi All Roads. For now, getting the jeans over work boots and riding boots requires some extra work. The jean isnt the issue its the lining that trys to hang up when sliding them over boots. Once you are used to pulling outward in the right spot, the jean and lining slides right over the boot. If you have plastic buckles or hardware on higher boots it would probably be difficult to get the jeans/lining over them.

THE BEST PART ABOUT THESE!! They feel extremely substantial while looking like a NORMAL pair of jeans. A coworker of mine knew that I bought these and knew that I was going to wear them as soon as they arrived. The first day I wore them I waited a couple hours to see if he noticed before I asked. He was shocked that I had them on. He had no idea even with the hip and knee armor in.

Style - I am not into loud jeans, crazy washes, logos, etc. I guess more importantly, niether is my wife. With that said these are not outragous in any of those categories and it passed my wifes test. She also preferred the Rebel cut compared to the Original due to bagginess.

Airflow - ehhh its what I would expect for a pair of riding pants. Its currently in the mid 40's to 50's on my commute and I am plenty warm with slight airflow.

Worth the extra money
These jeans look like regular stylish jeans, even with the knee protectors in. Have worn them every day since they arrived (I ride every day, and it has warmed up here now).

They fit well, I wear a 34" jean normally, and bought the 34" and it fits perfectly. The knee protectors are adjustable which is a big bonus, they are sitting in the perfect spot now after a little bit of fiddling.

Can't recommend these jeans highly enough, if you've got the extra cash buy them, you will not be disappointed.

They are a little tough to get over my Icon Prep Boots but as it is coming into summer here I will be wearing shorter boots so shouldn't be a problem for long. The do get over the prep boots with a little fiddling, noting too major.

Look great, feel great, not too hot in the hotter weather though they are of course a little hotter than normal jeans.

Looking forward to getting another pair in a different style soon!

Excellent product
Great jeans fairly comfortable. They fit perfect. The styling is wicked. And when you put these jeans on you can feel the safety from the dynatec. For a casual looking jean with excellent safety i recommend this to anyone who wants to be safe and stylish.

Exelent Quality
Fit is like a slightly fitted Levis 501. Feel of quality is unmistakable. Knee armor pockets offer alot of adjustability to position just right. Hip armor position is pwrfext and unobrtusive. Top quality, stylish, and high end protection, you get what you pay for! Would most definitely purchase again!

Great Style and Fit
These fit perfect, I wear size 30 and the 30 fit perfect. These are well designed and look better than some of my expensive jeans. The armor goes in the right areas, unlike some brands where the knee armor ends up below my knees. My only suggestion to make them better and all similar jeans better is a heat resistant pad above the ankle area for my pipes. Unfortunately the pipes on my chopper burnt through these after just 2 rides, although this didn't seem to effect the lining. I'm going to figure out some kind of patch for the future.

Soild Jeans
When I first looked at the price tag of these, I went "Holy sh*t God Da*n are you f**king serious", these are no less expensive than those top notch technical leather race pants!! The pants are very well-made, hefty and strong material, feel like they can last for decades. Waist runs a little larger than Levi's, legs fit just fine. The hip pads are on the side of your thighs instead of on your butt checks as I thought it was. I absolutely loved these jeans but I still doubt that the price can be justified. If you got extra cash to throw, by all means get them, you won't be disappointed. Otherwise, I'd rather invest in a pair of Dainese race pants that share the same price.

Glad I got em
Personally, I think they are over priced a bit. However, these Rokker Rebel's seem like they would do the trick if one should happen to slide across some pavement. I ordered the optional pads as well. My hope is that I don't have to test out my guesswork on em. Fresh out of the crate (yes, a small wooden box).....they are STIFF. However, they will brake in nicely. Once broken in, they fit like a glove. Suprisingly, when I put the pads in, it did not seem to affect the fit. Not sure if this would be the same for others though. Air flow will be zero. This is due to the Kevlar stitched under the jean. But having stated that, I like the fact that they are so heavy that they don't flap in the wind. Great wind breaker. They can get a lil hot in hot weather at a stop light. But no issues at cruising speed. I could go with out the flame design on the back pocket. I bit too European for my taste, but not a show stopper. That's it. If you get a set, my guess is you'll be glad you did.

Good style/Expensive
Firstly I purchased from Australia so exchange rate made these jeans expensive to say the least. That being said they have style, fit perfectly & comfortable when riding. I have not and hope to never put them to the abrasion test but they feel sturdy. The best part of this purchase was actually the speed of delivery and quality of packaging + free t-shirt (nice touch), I take my hat off to Revzilla and will be using this site again as it offers a better website & service than its Australian competitors.
