REV'IT! Women's Indigo Jacket

Though it features the exact same multi-seasonal properties as its counterpart, the men's Spectrum, the REV'IT Indigo ladies' jacket is much more than just a spin-off. Designed by and for female touring enthusiasts, the Indigo follows its own distinctive, elegant lines, making you look good both on and off the bike. Accompanying this style is excellent safety: the Indigo features the newly developed Knox Lite CE-level armor, specifically for ladies, at the elbows and shoulders. The removable thermal liner is also softer, more cushiony, and warmer than its male equivalent, simply because women tend to feel colder when riding. In the REVIT Indigo, women have everything they need in a jacket for riding year-round.

Function AND fashion, crash tested!
I can’t express how much I love this jacket. In the hunt for a 4-season jacket for an upcoming round the world trip, I think I tried on every single women’s jacket in the entire Bay Area before immediately falling in love with this jacket the moment I tried it on. It was flattering, technical in the ways I needed it to be, and despite being 3 layers + armor, it didn’t hurt in my “elbow pits” when I bent my arms like many of the other jackets I tried on. I’ve upgraded the back armor and it’s no less comfortable with it in. I’m warm in the cool weather, though I do put on a base layer and a balaclava when it’s super chilly out, but this jacket does a fantastic job of keeping you warm when you want it, dry when you need it, and vented when it’s hot out. I also appreciate that the waterproof liner/insulated liner can be worn as a stand-alone jacket as it saves me from packing extra gear when I’m on trips, or just for a night of camping.
The jacket has front pockets that Velcro shut so you can access them if you need to, but both the outer shell and the waterproof liner also have comfort pockets so you can rest your hands in them when you’re standing around. Another useful thing is the back pouch. I like to put my 2L camelbak reservoir in it, and am able to route the water tube up under the side straps and hold it in place at the top using the neck flap.
I’ve also crash tested this jacket in a 45mph tumble and you can barely tell by looking at the jacket. I did break some bones (nothing any jacket could have prevented,) but the jacket protected me VERY well. I highly recommend it. I get compliments on it all the time. Also, for sizing, I’m 5’6” 135, and wear a size 36 (I’m a 38 in my Rev’it Roamer Leather Jacket.) I only wish the sleeves were a tiny bit longer, but I also have long monkey arms!

Excellent fit for tall person, Good 3-Season Performance
I am 5' 10", yet the sleeves and tail are long enough to cover in any riding position. The removable inner liner/jacket, removable waterproof liner, various adjustable air vents, adequate shoulder width, armor in elbows and shoulders, etc. made it my choice. Thank you Joanne for your recommendation!

great jacket
My wife's review:
Very happy with this jacket. It's flexible and easy to move in but feels protective and snug, and it has a nice length for riding in all weather conditions without seeming long. I love the 3 layer system and the rain performance is miles above my old jacket. I do tend to start getting damp when riding in a full rain, either from the neck area or the sleeves, but I don't think this is a problem with the jacket itself. The venting is fantastic in hot weather (as long as you strip out the other layers). The pockets are handy. Overall a very versatile, quality product that I recommend for the price.

Love, Love, Love this jacket! It was perfect for our recent trip to Alaska - love the versatility of the layers. Kept me dry and warm in temps ranging from 40s to 60s with several days of rain..... Lots of secure pockets also a plus. Can't wait for our next trip!! Looks great, too. Got lots of compliments on the style.

Great Jacket
My only complaint about this jacket is that I wish the arms had been a little longer. But this is mostly a problem with being tall, thin and having long arms as most women's jackets that fit well everywhere else but in the arm length.

Got this in the silver/black option and feel like it is very visible. Back armor was easy to add.

Great Quality and fit with real functionality
My wife likes a close fitting jacket that allows for good range of movement with good wind protection balanced with airflow capability - the jacket does it all and still looks reasonably fashionable - the removable liner that can be worn as a light stand alone jacket is also a big bonus - very impressed will be buying the guys equivalent shorthly based on material quality. Would I like to pay less of course but have not seen anything close at a lesser price

This jacket is extremely well made and fitted
I am a new passenger and when I began to look for a quality jacket I fell onto a review on a forum for this jacket. I was thrilled to know that it fit "short" people. I am 5'2" about 130 pounds and I bought a 42. It isn't a jacket for hot humid Houston summers but for 80 degrees and below it is acceptable! The only problem I have with this jacket is that the collar will not stay put in the hook that is supposed to hold it open during a hot ride. Since I have bought a summer mesh jacket, also by Rev'it that isn't an issue.
