Fantastic Commuting Pants
I recently got back on two wheels and started commuting to work, and needed to start picking up some protective gear with hopes of stretching it 4 seasons. I'm confident that these pants will fulfil that almost impossible task. Here in the DC area, the summers can get extremely hot and humid, and while these pants don't flow the most amount of air, they're truly not bad. The past few afternoons on my way home it's been in the mid 80's and I haven't gotten too warm. The mornings aren't too chilly anymore at this point so I cannot yet speak for cold weather use, but with the thermal liner in, these pants are incredibly comfortable and seem to do a great job at trapping body heat.

I have only worn them in some light rain for about 20 minutes, but the water was beading up and rolling off the pants, I'm sure if I was in a downpour for an hour or more, the waterproof liner would've done just fine. Since I'm just commuting in these pants, and my commute wouldn't be longer than 45 min, I didn't think that gore-tex was a must have at this point. Also chose these pants because of their closer/sportier fit. My bike is adventure styled but I'm not going to be crossing the globe anytime soon, so I opted for the sportier cut over something like the Sand 2 (which was tried on at a local store as well). I'm 5'10", 160lbs, 32 waist, and the medium standard was spot on. I really like the adjustable waist, which makes for a perfect fit without needing a belt. The knee armor feels like it sits too low even on its highest position when walking around, but when I get on the bike and bend my knee, it's in the perfect spot. If the highest position was any lower though, I'd have to consider another option, so it does seem like overall the armour is placed a little lower than most other pants.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase. I do wish they offered more than just the black color, but that's nitpicking at this point. The pants look great, feel great, and work great. Wouldn't heistate to recommend these to any one of my riding friends.

Great all season pants, close to perfect with the Vapor Jacket.
Before I start, I'd like to offer my props to Revzilla Customer Service for replacing a pair of these pants I received. I received the Vapor pants, and wore them for 1300 miles on a multi day trip. After a downpour i realized one of the pockets was not taped and sewn properly from the manufacturer, and so allowed water to get into it to wet the contents. The rest of the pants, to their credit, kept me completely dry. Revzilla allowed me to return them, and had a new pair of Vapor pants at my door in days. Amazing job. On to the review...

I also reviewed the Vapor jacket recently, and these pants correlate well to that review. Fit is more Euro inspired, but not tight. They're not as baggy/relaxed fitting as your typical adventure style pants that you'd see with the same all weather features. They definitely have a sportier lean like the jacket, but movement is not constricted.

The knee pads, like many have noted will probably need to be moved to the highest setting for most people for them to sit properly. While we're on armor, these come with hip armor too, which is a huge plus in my book.

Are they waterproof? Absolutely, and with the indirect vents you can still flow air while using them and stay dry. Breathability isn't the best, but they're very similar to your typical denim jeans, just with way more protection and features. They stayed comfortable enough in 90 degree weather and high humidity as long as you stayed moving. The 8 inch and 360 degree zip works great with the Vapor Jacket and improves the fit and comfort on long rides. The grip pads on the butt are an excellent feature to keep you in place on your seat as well, so don't forget about those if you're comparing these to other pants. Immensely convenient.

I haven't used the pants with the thermal liners yet but heres what I've noted. I ride year round, down to sub freezing temperatures. These pants are about as warm as you're going to find without using a heated system. I'm confident they would keep me warm down to the 30 degree range without issue, and with the heated jacket liner I use, Im going to stay toasty. Like the jacket, the liners are going to make everything fit pretty snugly until you break it in.

Great pants !!!!!
I bought these pants to go with my defender jacket. (My size in defender pants were sold out). When I got it at first, they look bigger than the video and I tried them on and they do look a lot like you are wearing your ski pants.

The fit is pretty good. Size chart is spot on ! Wish they had suspenders

Very warm and comfortable and very beefy Armors AND comes with hip armor !!!!!!

I rode them on my ninja 300, monster 696 ( a little hard because the seat sucks !) and felt pretty good.....
Tried them on my 1199 panigale .....hmmmmm .... I have to say gripping the tank was a little harder but still do-able...

My friend lowsided on his r1 at 60 mph couple weeks ago and was wearing a pair of rev it pants and saved himself from all the road rash and other injuries which the pants took all the impact. He walked away with ZERO injury

Always wear your gears !!!!!!!! Head to toe

A GREAT choice!
I origionally wanted the "AIRWAVE" mesh version of these pants, but EVERYONE was out for the rest of the year. I think the Revit Vapor pants will work fine for 3 seasons, but in our 85 to 100 degree summers in NC, I will still need some mesh pants.

It is hard to REALLY be 4 season pants, in a potentially HOT climate. The Vapor pants do have a small vent zipper on the thigh, (which helps), and if you remove the liner as well, they are comfortable up to about 80-85 degrees F. I have no doubt that WITH the liner in, I will be fine down to my max low riding temp of 45 degrees. If necessary, I could wear long johns as well.

The quilted liner zips all around at the top and all around at the bottom of the legs, so no hang ups putting them on or off, as with buttons and loops. THEY ARE FITTED, so no wearing these as overpants. They do not have that bloomer butt look like some mc pants do. Workmanship is EXCELLENT!

I am 155 lbs and 5'7" with 29" inseam, so wore a L/S. It is still just a tad long, but no problem. They fit snugly over my boots at the bottom. You can NOT put these on without removing your boots first! Also, no problem. Even in the highest pocket the knee pads seem low when standing, but not when riding. This seems to be the way all pants are meant to fit...

I can't speak to waterproufness, yet. Being 60, I am not a long distance rider anymore, so it is of little consiquence anyway... for me.

I am very pleased with these, and may well buy the Revit Airwave mesh pants for really hot weather.

Nice pants
I wear these pants all the time now. Awesome in the fall winter with the thermal liner. And when it gets too hot then you can take the liner off and open the leg vents and have plenty of air coolin you off. The hip and knee pads are comfortable for me and feel very protective in them. I have a revit jacket so it zips up pretty well with it. I did take a couple of weeks for them to break in on me. They do fit a little smaller but they fit really well with good break in. You will enjoy them!

Sizing is an issue
It could be because I'm oddly proportioned, 6' 230Lbs, pretty small waist, around a 34-35 ( meaning i have a large back end and thick legs) but I'm having trouble with the fit. I ordered an XL tall and while I think the length is right, it feels tight in the waist/hip flexor area. I am thinking of returning these for a XXL, however there is no XXL tall, sort of in a bind...

Otherwise they are super warm, and i think with the right fit these are great pants. Beware of sizing if you have out of the norm proportions.

I can't beleive how well these Fit
I bought these for myself, as a girl who's 5'9" 165lbs size 8-10 with long legs, women's gear just never fits me in the inseam or in the waist rise. I bought these for the length, the adjustable waist, and the athletic narrow fit. With the liner in, they fit PERFECT. The back rises up enough to keep the wind coming coming up the jacket, but the pants also don't come up past my rib cage when standing. I wish I could post on the women's side for gear review to let other tall women know to check these out!!

I haven't yet ridden my commute yet in them, but I'm just so excited they fit I had to review them immediately.

Great pants that fit well!
I waited all winter for these to come back in stock. I purchased a 48 Tall. I'm a little over 6' and have a 33" waist. These pants might be a little long when walking w/o boots, but with boots on and legs bent on a bike (650 Ninja) they are perfect. They are snug so it's a little tougher swinging my leg over the bike than it was in plain jean, but no big deal. They actually feel more comfortable when riding than my jeans did . I have not tried them w/o the liner yet. The material and protection are great. If I had any complaint it would be that the liner pushes out the bottom and I have to tuck it back up the pant leg. If you're looking for a well built, tailored pant, this is it.

Rev'It Vapor perfect 4 season gear
If your looking for high quality 4 season, true to size protective outerwear; this set-up is great.

I was balking at the price I paid for the Vapor pant and jacket combination, however the quality is excellent and the style is euro cool.

I ordered true to my size small, I'm 5 '9 145 pounds, 30 waist, 37 chest with thin athletic build. Pants fit perfectly, I also tried the medium jacket but the sleeves where too long and the protective padding not properly aligned with elbows so I stuck with a small.

The removable liner is nice and will allow for a solid 3 season use, however for summer I'm likely to stay with my mesh gear.

Great Pants
I wear these pants daliy for my communte, they are very good pants for the price. its warm enough without the thermal liner in, and can definitely be worn in sub 35 degree weather with the liner in. The vents are virtually useless though, but thats not a big deal since it is a winter oriented pant. not fully waterproof however, the crotch area gets soaked in moderate showers, not a big deal really. the armour fits in place correctly and the pants fit quite well overall. it is well constructed and seems like it would protect from abrasion in the case of a down. I even wear it for offroad riding. The creature comforts are a big plus

If I had more $ to drop on pants I would though, the pants in the upper prices are fantastic.
