great looks, poor construction
I was very excites about these boots as they are the best looking moto boot on the market. However, the very first day I wore them, the sole separated from the insole as I was trying to pull it off my heel. I've never had this happen with any shoe or boot in my life, let alone right out if the box. The boots appear to use a welt construction but they soles were relying mostly on adhesive. Either way the joint wqs VERY weak. Soles aren't heat resistant, melted immediately upon touching an exhaust pipe. Also boot fit is rather wide. These are a poor value for what you get. An armored riding boot should not be that delicate, Revit should rethink how these are put together.

For the record though, the boots were easily warranteed, Revzilla and Revit customer service were great. I love other Revit products I own and will continue to buy from Revzilla.

Stylish - But Safety is Questionable
These are very stylish shoes and protection seemed spot on. However, after 3 months of continuous wear, I noticed the bottom inner soles were wearing down at a rapid speed and showed some signs of melted rubber as well. This is purely speculation but I think the pipes of my cruiser bike have had something to do with it and these soles are not able to take the heat compared to other boots I have which show no signs of wear or melted rubber.

I am hoping my shoes were the only ones that had this defect, but please pay close attention to yours if you choose to purchase them.

Stylish Protection
I purchased the Rev-It Royale boots after buying and returning a pair of Dainese boots. The fit is spot on and all aspects of this boot show very high quality. I was somewhat surprised to have a couple of strangers comment on the good looks of the boot during the recent Daytona Bike Week. In conclusion, I am very pleased with the looks and comfort of the Royale boot plus it is also CE rated, indicating a degree of protection not offered in many boots.

Genuinely great for all-day office wear
The airflow is abysmal, I fully anticipate summer sucking with these shoes. The shoes run a little large, but it gave me a chance to put in aftermarket insoles with arch support, now they fit perfectly..

Other than that, they're incredibly comfortable. I wear them all day at the office and they're great. After two days of breaking in, the leather is a lot more supple.

Protection-wise, they seem really good; a clear solid heel and toe cup, ankle protection that's actually where my ankles are [unlike other shoes I've owned].

A Bit Pricey, but Still Very Nice...
So after getting some miles on these boots before writing a review, I can confidently say that these boots are priced about $100 too high. I have all kinds of boots, and these should probably be priced around $200. They are my favorite shade of brown leather, and look amazing. The sole is very soft but if you don't let them drag on the ground as you cruise to a stoplight I think they'll last long enough. The insole was super cheap and I replaced it on day two. I feel for the price a decent, padded insole should be part of the package. The shift pads are a nice touch and are actually functional. With regular boots my shifter hits my big toe knuckle annoyingly right on the joint, and with these boots the extra layer of leather is welcome.

Overall I really do like these boots, but they just don't feel like they command the asking price. For $200 these boots would be a must. They are the color I've been looking for, so I will be hanging on to them no matter what... but I do feel like I overpaid.

Very comfortable and nice cafe racer style. Excellent both on and off the bike.
I bought these boots after looking an a lot of others. I have no regrets. I wear them to work on Friday dress down and they are easy to walk around in and very comfortable both on and off the bike. The quality is excellent and the sole grips well without being heavy lugged.

I wanted a boot that has that Café Racer look while not feeling and looking like combat boots.

The size is just slightly larger than some other boots, I like to wear thicker socks and the fit perfect. It did take a few wears to break in but that was expected.

As far as air flow, these are not the boots for that, however, I feel the comfort, protection and look are more important to me. The gear shift pad and closure strap are nice features.
They are a little pricy, so I would wait for a sale.

Revzilla's customer service is excellent.

Great Boot; but Expensiive
This is a great product that fits true to size, if the footbed is just a tad wide. Great style, but that is what you are paying for. No more protective than boots that can be had for $150-$200, but I would buy again

Great features and true too size
I received this item the next day, probably because I live here in Las Vegas. Item was true too size and the leather didn't need any breaking in. Sole really grabs and catches when I come to a stop on my bike.

Nice quality boot for early Spring riding
Boots shipped quick. Revzilla rocks with its customer service and fast delivery. I live in Maryland and typically get my purchases in about 2 days. As for the Rev it Royales, they are a nice quality boot for Spring riding; however I would not recommend for the Summer months as they don't have much in the way of air flow. The boots are attractive and fit well. As a point of reference I wear a size 12 U.S. And have wide feet. It took a couple of days for me to break the boots in so that they were comfortable for my wide feet. Overall a good purchase and I recommend.
