These are better than the Rev'IT Lombard
I'm 6'2", 188lbs - Ordered size 34x34, I would have fit better in a 33x34 (Which shockingly they have!) but the 34x34 was close enough I wasn't going to ship them back (Hey, maybe I'll get fatter). Length is actually longer than a 34, I'd say if you wear a 34 normally, a 34 in these jeans will be a good length while on the bike - might not quite reach a low top shoe, but should get pretty close. I don't work out, so I have normal "runners thighs" for reference.

Other reviews said, "Zebra striping in the dye" and "outer seams roll towards the front around the knee and below" and "knee pads are low." My experience was these are all true, but I'd add "A LITTLE" before each statement. None of these minor imperfections turned me off to the jeans. After a few days wearing them, I don't even notice. The knee pads do reach my knees when I'm on the bike, albeit just barely.

What I really like about these jeans is they are a lot softer than the Rev'IT Lombard jeans I also have. These are just a lot more comfortable in the knees when bent. I do wish these were a little tighter fit like the Lombards are.

I'd consider these a "cool" jean, I wear them in the summer and it's not bad at all. There is a seam above the knee which I think is basically impossible to not have unless there is a full inner liner. A full inner liner is a lot warmer so you have to make a compromise - Comfort vs style. The horizontal seam above the knee is subtle in this jean. When you're off the bike and they wrinkle a bit (because riding jeans are long) the seam gets lost int he wrinkles and it's hardly noticeable.

Great jeans but wouldn't recommend for people with 30" inseam or shorter
Unfortunately, I didn't get to test these pants out on the road. I tried them on and ran into a few issues.

First, a little about me for sizing reference. I'm 5'8" 185 lbs. and hit the gym semi-regularly (squats = big butt and thighs). I normally wear a 34/30 in Levi's mostly to accommodate for my rear end. I ended up ordering a size 34/32 in the Philly Jeans.

Pros: The materials overall seem very nice. There is a slight stretch to them which adds to comfort. With no Seesoft hip armor, the 34 fits spot on to my usual Levi's. The wash of the jean is also pretty dark which I love. You can also buy hip armor for extra protection.

Cons: After putting the hip armor in, the jeans became pretty tight in the thigh and backside. Nothing too extreme as there is a slight stretch, but if I stuff my pockets I'd probably have a perma-wedgie. Not enough to warrant an additional 2 inches and jump up to a 36 waist though. However, that was not a deal breaker. The deal breaker for me was the knee armor, or rather, the placement of the armor pockets. When I stand straight up, the knee armor would begin right under my knee caps. If you are usually =< 30 inseam, I would not recommend these jeans. Those 2 inches of extra inseam appear to all be above the knee armor pockets so getting the pants hemmed up wouldn't help. Also, there is a footnote in the description, but in case you didn't catch it: the pants in the video were pre-production so the PWR|shield knit protection is only found in the butt and knees.

I really wanted for these pants to work. I tried mimicking riding positions hoping that maybe the armor would move up in a crouched position but they were still too low. If they were 2" up, I would've loved them even with the tight fit in the hips. I even thought about riding without the armor but the PWR|shield knit would still be too low anyways and I definitely don't want that.

In summary, I would definitely recommend these pants for people with average thighs and >30 inseam. Otherwise, I cannot recommend these pants due to low knee armor and tighter fit with hip armor.

Nice jeans, knee protection too low
After a long wait on pre-order, my Philly jeans arrived. I've only taken about 3 or 4 rides with them so my experience is limited but here's my first impressions.

Fit: slightly large. My Levi jean size is 31, I order a 30 and they fit just about right. I'd order smaller than normal. As for length, they are long but I have a short 30" inseam, I ordered the short length and will most likely get them hemmed up about 1/2 inch or so with room to cuff up.They are very comfortable and much better than the old "Draggin' Jeans" I had before. I have only ridden to work in 75 degree temps but they seem OK, I think the coolmax will do its job on warm days.

Style: Really good looking jeans, not flashy euro style.

Function: Thankfully I have not "tested" them for crash durability and hope I don't have to. The reinforced areas seem appropriately sized and I'm sure the Cordura is better than typical denim if it buys me another second or 2 if I'm sliding I'll be happy. My biggest complaint is the pockets for the knee protection are too low. I've seen this on other reviews of Rev'it gear and I'll say that needs to be fixed. When I get mine hemmed up, I'll have them correct that as well. Probably about an inch or two and they will be good to go.

Value: Seems to be about right, but for almost $300 they really should throw in the hip protection as well. I'd recommend them.

Nice features, but a few disappointments
I waited anxiously for these to hit the market. While they are better than just about everything else I've seen, they do have a few flaws which may or may not affect others. (1) Inseam is a full 2 inches longer than advertised. My 32" inseam measured a full 34" even after washing. (2) Knee pads are not adjustable (in contrast to my Rev'It textile pants there are no little velcro strips) and knee pad pockets are quite large. As a result of 1 and 2, fitment and knee pad placement may be a problem for a lot of folks. I actually removed some of the stitching and re-sewed a new knee pad pocket an inch higher, over to one side a couple inches (see below), and with less overall room. They fit pretty well overall now after hemming for length. A possible 3rd issue (and not sure if all pairs are like mine), but the outseams (the actual stitched seams) are "rotatated" inward and don't run straight down the side of my leg. I.e., left outseam is at 10 o'clock position and right outseam is at 2 o'clock position. This affects knee pad placement/centering, even though it's not very noticeable visually. All that said, I still think these are a solid 4 stars, and maybe 5 if they fit you right. I'm not sure why Rev'It doesn't offer a 30" inseam version (especially if they run long). Waist size was spot on (my normal jeans size), so no complaints there. Pockets are very deep, which is nice if you like to keep your wallet in there. Lastly, I think the styling looks quite nice and not at all gaudy like some brands.

Cut tight in the thigh and add a inch to the waist for the hip pads
I have ridden in these jeans now about 6 hours in the smoking hot Texas summer. Airflow is about like normal jeans.
I agree with the other reviewer, the knee pads are too low. When standing the pad tops out in the middle of my knee cap and hang halfway down my shin. When riding I pull them over my knees and they remain right there. I considered getting the jeans longer so I could turn up the hems more for the reflector stripe for night riding, and am glad I didn't because the knee pads would have fit like shin guards then. The pads are not easy to get into the pockets.

Hip pads should be included in these jeans at this price. The hip pads fit perfectly but when I tried on the jeans for fit I didn't have the hip pads in. Mistake! Go up in the waist size an inch or two, which will make the waist loose but will fit more comfortably in the hip area.

I am 6 ft 185#. I have the Philly jeans in 30x34. The same size I wear in Levi's. I usually wear 32x34 in Harley Jeans. I should have gotten the 31x34 to accommodate the hip pads. These jeans are really tight in the thigh! The pockets are good and deep which is great but since the thigh is so slim cut it is really hard to get anything out of the front pockets.

The stretch material added into the jeans is great.
The reflective stripe lights up well at night.

The coin/watch pocket is way too small to be of any use at all, and should be on the left/non-throttle side of the jeans.

The horizontal seam going across just above the knee is really noticeable and lower portion of the material is raised quite a bit higher, even without the knee pads, strangely more so on the right knee side.

The belt loops are well positioned and seem sturdy.

I like the dark color of the jeans but mine came with a bit of zebra like bleached stripes across the left front thigh that I wish was the even dark blue of the rest of the jean. Will there be a black jean option?

I commute an hour each way to work in heavily congested Houston traffic and these will be my everyday riding jeans. I would have liked to have gotten them a little larger to accommodate the hip pads and believe there should be a tail bone pad too. The knee pads are too low and not adjustable.
These jeans feel like they provide great protection over normal jeans.

Very nice riding jeans
I really like these jeans. The wife says they fit me at least as well as normal jeans, maybe even a little better. For reference, I currently wear a pre-shrunk Levi's 501 in 35 waist and 34 inseam. I ordered the RevIts in a 34/34 and the fit is right on. I also purchased the optional hip pads and the jeans still fit me fine even with those inserted. I do wish the hip pads were included at this price point. And some of the internal stitching could be better, particularly the velcro pieces that close the internal armor pockets are kind of haphazardly sewn on as other reviewers mentioned. But overall I really like these jeans.

Fits good even with hip armor in
I wear a 34/34 in Levis 501. I ordered 33/34 in these jeans. The waist sits a tad lower, which is fine. The size fits my waist very nice. If I add the hip armor it's still fine although it can make me look a little hip wide. I noticed it more when in the sitting position. The length is a tad long but on the bike is near perfect. I'm 6' with around a 32"+ inseam. The Dainese jeans I tried fit good but didn't have the length like these. The knee armor when standing is a tad low but better when seated. The hip armor pockets have velcro on the flap to keep them closed. I'm not sure why the knee armor pockets don't as my feet catch up on the armor and possibly pocket when I first tried on. I'll just be careful putting them on and go slow past the knee pockets.

Great pants
I really like the the look of these pants, I can comfortably wear these pants walking around knowing they look like regular pants. They do get hot, I expected they would and so should you but I feel it's worth saying anyways. Definitely great pants.

Great jeans
these are some of the best styled riding jeans I've found. They fit like regular lean (not skinny) jeans and the SeeSoft armor is not noticeable. Not horizontal seams either. I have the Philly 2 version which is the latest improved iteration. Not cheap but not the most expensive either. Waiting for Revzilla to get in the back ordered SeeSoft hip protectors (not included) and will be good to go.
