OK for commuting
I live in PA and commute to work as far into the winter as is safe. That's what I bought these gloves for and they work well. These are not an ideal choice for touring or any sort of longer rides.

I have been riding with these gloves in the cold and rain for about a month now, at least 4 days a week. They are just now breaking in. I like a long break in period as it usually means that the item will last.

Do not expect these gloves to be the ultimate in cold weather riding. you can only go so low without heating. I am fine to 50 F in these gloves. I can do short rides down to 40 F. I have done some 60-90 minute rides at ~40F with these and yea the fingers get cold. like I said, buy these for commuting. If you have heated grips then you are in the clear because the palm is thin enough that you will feel that warmth. So far no water has gotten in. I have been in some decent rain with these and I have little in the way of protection on my DRZ.

The only real complaint I have is the protection. sure they have goatskin but there is little palm impact protection. They have a foam "slider" which is just a square of memory foam. I am skeptical that this will help in a wreck but I guess it's better than nothing. I would trade the hard knuckles for a hard palm slider any day. Each finger except the little finger has a hard portion on the top. Also note that the touch finger tips are a gimmick. sure you can work your phone with them on but I don't who would be trying to text with winter gloves on.

Notes on my fit: I have long thin fingers. From the webbing to the tip of my middle finger is 4". across my hand width wise over the knuckles is 3.5". I ordered an XL and they fit great after break in. when I first got them I actually thought the fingers were too long but when you wrap them around the grip they feel great.

Perfect winter gloves with one small issue.
These gloves are really nice. They look great, feel great, touchscreen, super warm, etc...

My only complaint is the wrist strap. It's barely long enough to slide your hand into the glove without it coming out of the loop. If you want to put them on quickly, the strap is going to come out of the loop and you are going to have to spend the time to loop it back through. When I put them on carefully, I have about 1/8" strap left at most. I'm going to have my wife sew some sort of stopper on the strap to remedy this issue. Outside of this minor detail, these are 5 star gloves.

Awesome gloves but the sizing is weird
I've had these gloves for a couple weeks so far since it started to cool down and while I haven't got to test how well they hold up in the rain, you can't go wrong with Gore-tex. They keep my hands nice and warm but not overly toasty since they are allowed to breathe.

In the video, Anthony says he wears XL and normally wears L. I usually wear L and when I tried these gloves on in L the fingers were a bit too long and made strapping the other glove with one gloved hand difficult, though everything else fit well. I actually went down a size to M and they fit well in all areas except the middle finger at the knuckle can get a bit tight. I opted for the M because I know after the gloves stretch out they will fit far better than the L will after it has stretched.

All in all, awesome looking gloves, very comfy, feel very high quality, and will keep your hands warm.

Silly things kind of ruin it for me
First off, the insulation is decent and they're goretex so the waterproofing is going to perform.

The wrist strap on these things are absolutely maddening. The strap is too short and the D ring it goes through is small. So what always happens is the first glove goes on without issue but when you go to put on the second one, the strap comes out of the D ring. Now you have to spend a frustrating amount of time trying to get the strap through a small, narrow slit in the ring with a gloved hand. I can't express how much I hate this.

Also, these are hands down the most uncomfortable gloves I own. There are hard parts in the fingers and when your hands are gripping the bars they dig into the tops of your fingers.

After riding with these for a bit, I've found that a short cuff glove for cold weather riding isn't the best idea. No matter how hard I cinch my jacket cuff down I still get some cold air coming up through the sleeve. I would suggest skipping these and getting a glove with a full cuff.

If I could go back in time, I would slap myself before hitting the add to cart button on these.

Fantastic for cold!
Just received these a few days before Christmas (Revzilla shipped these to me in 2 days with regular shipping, amazing!) They have been fantastic in the New York winter so far on my F800GS with barkbusters and heated grips! Don't even need the heat if the temp is over 45 or so. I Can easily go down below freezing with this setup. The gloves are thicker than your average pair of moto gloves, but no where near as bulky as your typical cheaper winter gloves. This allows you to not only feel buttons on your bike and bluetooth helmet, but also lets the heat transfer from the grips all the more easily.

I was also a bit worried about them not being gauntlets. They tuck nicely enough under the sleeve of your jacket and as long as you cinch it tight, nothing gets through at all. No issues in the rain either, but I have not ridden in anything really heavy with them yet. Your hands also don't get clammy in them. All in all, I highly recommend these. They also look sweet.

perfect commuting gloves in BayArea
These gloves are perfect for commuting in where I live. It rains a lot during winter time in San Francisco BayArea. And it's pretty chilly even in Summer time.

I have a pair of Scorpion Klaw II size L and A-Stars GT-S X-trafit size XL gloves.
Klaw II is almost perfect in size. Only a hair too tight around my knuckles. A-Stars is comfortable but fingers little too long but that's not annoying.
My new REV'IT! gloves are the same in size with the Scorpion gloves. Just like the Scorpion, this new pair is a hair too tight around knuckles, but I feel that those will break in in shot time. Pretty comfortable and warm.
Only negative side is touch screen tips are not really easy to use. Besides that I'm happy.
If these gloves survive well in the wether, I will buy a pair of REV'IT! Gore-Tex gauntlet for weekend touring purposes.
It is a good buy.

My choice for a winter glove
I was in need of a durable, warm, and waterproof winter glove. I found it in the Kryptonite GTX gloves by Rev'it. The only drawback that I found is that it fits large, especially in the fingers. I ordered the XXL at first, sizing up for the euro scale. Eventually went down to a large....fits a wee bit snug, but the fingers are still too long. Argh! Still, the Gore Tex sealed the deal for me.

I rode for most of the winter in NE Philly with these. They are comfortable down to around freezing for 30min or so. Good materials, construction, and protection.

Great for Commuting!
I just picked up a pair of these gloves, albeit not from Revzilla, and I love them. I usually wear an XL in almost every glove I try on, except these. I felt most comfortable in a 2X, which is why I marked that they run large. I just got back from about a 30 minute ride around town with an air temp of 55 degrees and have no complaints at all about warmth.

My ONLY gripe is they seem to lack a bit in terms of protection. Pretty much the only thing I'd add to these gloves is a more robust palm slider. Other than that, I love them!

Had these just over a year now and have to say, best cold / wet weather gloves I've ever had, their comfortable all day and keep your hands dry in the rain, anything below 65 degrees outside and their great, anything above that and they are way to well insulated

Looking for Gore-tex gloves that won't break the bank and with high quality features like protection, durability, multi-season, waterproof, touch-screen. I live in FL but like to tour the smokey's in the fall some people said these gloves are not really very warm so I got a size up and plan on getting a liner for cooler temps.

Bought these for winter riding. They work as advertised and hands stay really warm with my heated grips now.

Mark B on Feb 13, 2017
Got a new Klim Bandlands jacket and the cuff is not easy for a large gauntlet to go under the cuff. In Seattle if you wear gloves outside the sleeve, it's just a matter of time before the rain will wick down into the gloves. These allow me a GoreTex insulated short cuff glove.
James L on Jan 27, 2017
This is the first time I have tried any REV'IT product and now these are my new favorite gloves! They take a long time to wear in, but afterwords they are awesome. My hands stayed warm and dry while riding in Montana rain for 3 days in a row. I bought them to replace my medium warmth gloves. I always have 3 pairs: cold, medium, and hot weather. These run a little warm for medium warmth gloves in sunny California, but I absolutely love them.

Very nice winter gloves, they are slightly thicker than normal gloves but provide good cold protection. If you need rain protection take into account these are not full gauntlets and you may get some water from the elastic part.

Has anyone tried these in the Rain and Cold? I currently own the Rev'it Summit H2O gloves and I don't know how they can call them waterproof as 20 min into riding in the rain here in the North West they are completely soaked. I really don't want to invest in another set of rev'it gloves unless I know they are actually waterproof. I figure I would use a liner underneath to make them a little warmer in the winter months. Thanks for any replies.
JeremyR on Nov 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I have used them in the cold and rain, but not for extended periods. they held up in soaking rain for the 20 minutes that I was in it. the temperature was ~50F
Are they too hot for commuting at 80F? Where I live temperature changes very fast and rains a lot so I would like to know if you think this gloves suit the challenge.
Mario L on Apr 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: In a word, yes. I can't imagine wearing these gloves in 80 degree temps. I bought them for cold/wet weather gloves and they work fine for that. They've got a decent amount of thinsulate insulation so there's a certain amount of loss of feel on the grips. I'd prefer only to wear a thick glove when i had to.
Where is the visor wiper?
BJTigerXC on Sep 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's the fabric on the index finger on the inner part facing the thumb, it's an absorbent material as opposed to a small blade, aka a snot patch
Are the fingers shorter on a XL compared to XXL?
A shopper on Sep 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi there! I've got a Size L. So can't describe the XL/XXL however I will say the large fit on the snug side... I probably could get away with and XL .. So if you're worried about a thigh t fit.. I'd try a size up !
