REV'IT! Fairfax Shoes
REV'IT Fairfax Shoes
Shaped as fashionable sneakers, the REVIT Fairfax Shoes can fool anyone when it comes to protection. Don't be fooled by its appearance, though; the Fairfax are equipped with the protection one expects from a true motorcycle shoe. A thermoformed heel cup and toe cap and an injected ankle cup provide protection that is critical while riding. Once off the bike, the Fairfax give the looks and comfort of a sneaker—thanks also to its anatomically shaped foot bed. To make sure the laces stay in place the Fairfax is fitted with a closure strap.
Note: We have found the REV'IT Fairfax Shoes to run large and suggest going down if you are between sizes.

THE DESIGN AND COLORS ARE FANTASTIC

However, if I followed that advice I would have bought a 44 for my 10.5 foot; which is my American size. I am well established with many euro branded running shoes and I wear a 43. I do wear a 44 in some Dainese boots, but they are the ones that run a little small historically. To sum this up, I bought a 43 and it is right on the money! I had to wait (anxiously) for a week before they arrived so I am glad I did because a 44 would have been too big. It's O.K. Anthony.
I think these shoes fit exceptionally well with my foot, and what you get in this stylish shoe is a fair amount of protection. They are a little expensive but are good quality. The sole is pretty sticky on the pavement, and the heel and toe support helps with shifting and stability. The pictures online are close, just expect a little lighter suede detailing - I'll skip snapshots for now.
The only reason I didn't give these five stars is because I don't know how they will hold up or feel after wearing them around a lot. I primarily wanted to get some sizing info up for those who might need it. At first glance, they're a 5/5.
For me, these imperfections don't outweigh what I like about the product, but for the price I wouldn't recommend it unless you absolutely love the design.
The boots look cool, which is why I bought them, but for much less money, there are better options.
Unfortunately, and I really hope, (and kind of assume,) that this is just me, the reinforced panel at the heel was constantly digging into my ankles. The guys at the shop were very cool about returning my shoe for a slightly different size, but to no avail. While I was walking around town, my ankles were taking a beating.
While I was RIDING, any time I put my foot down to brace the bike, at a red light, for example, it would cut into my ankle.
Devastating. I had to return them for lack of functionality.
My heart. ...it's broken.
Coolest looking shoe I've ever seen!
I cannot recommend these boots for anything other than very occasional use. If you're planning a short ride and want something fashionable, these will do but for anything else, they wont hold up and you'll be disappointed.
I feel like these will be best in late summer / autumn as they do not flow much air. I notice I keep going for my perforated riding boots over these guys but I think that'll change once it is a little less hot out.
Protection feels OK. I'm used to riding in a race boots so I haven't gotten totally comfortable with how light the toe and heel in this shoe feels. Your foot and ankle feel snug and secure when you are laced in and upon close inspection the heel protection does feel pretty robust for this style sneaker/boot.
I'm pretty sure I could wear these off the bike and be pretty comfortable for a day. (Again, in cooler weather they'll be optimum as they are a bit cozy (hot)
ReVit delivers another winner as far as I'm concerned!

They are very light though, and are much lighter to wear than, say, Helstons boots. However, my Helstons have much thicker and softer ankle padding and thicker leather.
