Excellent Quality, Good Fit for Shorter Ladies
The Factor 3 pants are the very first motorcycle pants that fit me without being tailored. I'm 5' 2" with 39" full hips, 35" waist, 27" inseam, and stocky. In "off the shelf" jeans I wear a size 10 short or regular relaxed or curvy.

Before I ordered I reviewed the size chart and chose a size that fit over my hips and would fit my inseam plus boots. The waist has velcro cinches so I knew I could adjust the waist. The size is 44 Short and they fit.

With the liner in, I put the Factor 3 pants on over my loose fitting jeans, cinched the waist up, and sat down. They fit comfortably around my hips, sat at my natural waist, and touched the bottom of my heal. The knee and hip armor sat in the proper places.

The stitching is very good, the material feels like it will last, and the zippers and slide button feel quality.

It would be nice to have a full leg zipper to be able to slip them off without removing the boots but I'm willing to forgo that one luxury to have such a good fit.

Although I've only wore them to work this week and not on a long or wet ride yet, I think they will hold up to the test of time.

Soft, warm, and protective: what more could we ask for?
Having commuted 42 miles a day for the last three weeks in these pants and the REV'IT Monroe womens jacket, I have to say I am profoundly in love. From the moment I put these pants and jacket on I was hooked. The inside is shockingly soft and comfortable, no armor poking you (and it's there, I checked) and the material does not chafe your skin or clothing underneath (which means wearing leggings underneath is super easy and worry free). I've ridden in temperatures ranging from 45* to 70* on both city streets and the freeway at up to 70mph without having felt cold at all. Very minimal areas for wind leakage into the pants and they stood up to a pretty heft rainstorm without getting wet underneath due to the higher waist line and slimmer legs with waterproof expansion webbing over the boots. A point to note, these are not meant as overpants for jeans. I attempted it and found they were more restrictive than I was willing to ride with. That being said, they are true to size and fit perfectly without creating a major diaper butt look that winter gear often can create.

I ride a 636 and was unaware that these were touring fit prior to purchase so the first week was uncomfortable right at the juncture where the hip armor extends downard onto the thighs. This was due to pressure from the lean angle to reach the handle bars and has since been no problem once the armor and pants were broken in. Now there is zero impairment while riding and I love the lean simplistic look of these pants. Paired with the Monroe jacket I have been madly in love with my new gear for the comfort, softness (cannot stress this enough as other gear I've worn has caused snags on work clothing), and warmth.

Great Fitting Pants
I needed to buy a new pair of riding pants for a 2 week trip this summer. My criteria for the pants included comfort, waterproof, zip out insulated liner and good looking. I have never found riding pants that are exceptionally good looking on, due to need for protection and warmth. However, the Rev'It Womens Factor II pants looks pretty good on - way better than a bulky overpant. I wear the pants over leggings and find that they are comfortable. I originally ordered the regular length (I am only 5'6") but found that with the boots I wear (TCX Lady Classic WP Boots) that have a heel - I need the tall length when sitting.

Great protection for colder temps - avoid for warmer ones
I bought these to pair up with my Rev It Women's Sand Jacket for a long journey from Alaska to Antarctica. They matched up well with jacket zipper attachment and have great fit and protection. I am usually a size 4 or 6, with wide hips and a longer inseam, and the size 38 Long fit perfectly. But in hindsight, I should have paid the extra sum to get the Sand pants, since their waterproofing layer is removable, like it is in the jacket. These pants served me well in lots of rain and in the sometimes cooler temps of Alaska / Canada in the summer, but as soon as it was straight sun and over 70-75 degrees F they heat up QUICK. At some points, in true heat, it was unbearable and I would end up opting for my jeans to have airflow. It should also be noted that the waterproofing did wear out in the high contact crotch area after about 2 months of daily riding. Overall these are great pants - but they are undoubtedly only for colder weather - if you are planning to pass through any warmer temps, I recommend going for a pair with greater air flow options (slot openings or otherwise) or removable waterproof liners. And you should plan to treat & wash with Nixwax to maintain waterproofing.

AWESOME PANTS
I just bought these pants to extend my winter riding season. Got them in the mail within 2 days and have worn them 3 times already. Today it was 40 degrees during my commute on the freeway and my legs were the warmest part on me. I wasn't cold at all! I'm 5'4" and usually wear a size 7 in jeans. I got a size 44 standard length for these pants because I want to use them as overpants so I can wear jeans underneath. The size 44 is perfect for me for over pants but the standard length is a little long. I was afraid I would have to exchange them for the short length but they come with a velcro feature around the ankles to keep them from dragging so I will keep the standard length. The only complain so far is the armor on the hips tends to dig a little while I ride but its not to bad. It could also loosen up a bit as I wear it. Awesome pants! Makes a huge difference! Matches my REV'IT! Xena leather jacket perfectly!

warm, windproof, solid
I wasn't really a big believer in armored pants until I got these. They're awesome at cutting the wind, keeping my legs in a good riding position, and overall making me feel more stable and protected while riding. Because they're so heavy and solid, I get much less buffeting from wind turbulence around my legs; this was a drastic decrease in riding fatigue that I didn't even realize was a problem.

If I take out the liner, I can wear them over jeans. For extra insulation during cold riding, wearing them with the liner over tights got me through a surprise snowstorm. In general, I'd definitely suggest wearing something under them, even with the liner, because the material isn't really comfortable against bare skin.

All the zippers and closures are extremely durable.

Some nitpicking: Like most gear, they're pretty uncomfortable when I'm not sitting on the bike. Just going from having my feet down while stopped to tucking in on the bike will shift the padding around a little, and the cuffs tend to ride up over my low boots. The pockets are kind of a pain to get to. Also, I wish it came in more exciting colors.

Great pants, great price
I bought these to stay warm as the weather get colder. They are definitely doing their job! They make me feel protected with the nice hip and knee padding, and they feel very durable. I was on the fence about getting the "tall" size (I am 5'8") but very glad I did. They are the perfect length for me. They were a little uncomfortable the first time I wore them - the knee pads were very stiff. I was worried they wouldn't work for me, but having worn them a handful of times, I love them!

Great pants, and very warm.
These pants are made well, but they are not for warm weather. The first few times I wore them, the temp was 60 or lower, (actually, one time it was upper 30's and my legs were the warmest part of me) but as soon as it got into the 70's, there was no way. Mid to late spring, /early fall would be best for these. The short sizing is awesome, though, especially since I'm only 5'1". Definitely recommend for riding in cooler weather. They offer great protection. I feel a thousand times more safe when I wear them.

GREAT Cold Weather Pants!
I spent hours researching my replacement pants, and finally decided on these. I am so happy I did. They are comfortable standing and sitting on the bike. While they are a bit higher on the waist than my summer pants (Scorpion Savannah 2) they aren't too high up for comfort. The button is a ingenious invention. It is a slide type mechanism, so there is never any button popping open issues! Sides have velcro adjustments in the waist. For size reference- I am about a size 6-8 in jeans. 5'5" and 135 lbs. I got the size 42 because I wanted room for liners and layers as these are my winter pants. I have room for my Gerbings heated liner pants and a pr. of thin long johns underneath if I take out the liner that came with the pants. I can wear a pr. of jeans even WITH the liner that came with the pants. These would be too big for me to wear without any liner. All that being said, I would have probably rather purchased the 40, but these aren't terribly big/bulky, so I will keep them. I rode in 40 degrees with just the regular liner (not electrics) in the pants and was very comfortable.
