Remus HyperCone Slip-On Exhaust Ducati Scrambler

Feast your eyes on the Remus HyperCone Exhaust System, an exhaust that offers technical sophistication in combination with extraordinary design.

The innovative highlights of the Remus HyperCone Exhaust are the carbon outlet cap with a titanium or stainless steel sleeve. The hexagonal design of the outlet cap and the conical silencer body guarantees maximum ground clearance while cornering.

Remus engineers utilized state-of-the-art materials to reduce the overall weight and flow optimized the internal components to control back pressure. All this in addition to the well known Remus sound with performance and torque increases make the Remus HyperCone the spearhead of the Remus Sport Exhaust Line.

Features:

  • Stainless steel link pipe
  • Silicon covered springs

Note: The sound insert no longer features a extended outlet.

Buy this if you still have the stock exhaust.
I was absolutely blown away at the quality of this exhaust, especially for the price. Beautiful sound and a sleek look to boot, it is definitely a much needed upgrade from stock.

Stupefied!
This exhaust is insane! It sounds so awesome. I can't imagine the Termi tony exhaust sounding twice as better as you know it costs twice as much.

Note that the videos on youtube do not accurately reflect the sounds of the pipe. You need to hear it in person!

Great product, junk instructions
The instructions were for an Icon, and were totally wrong for my Full Throttle. Luckily it was easy enough for my mechanically challenged self to figure out.

One of the hanger bolts faces the swing arms and standard hex keys couldn't fit in the small gap, so I had to use a vice grip to remove it. Also, when you finally remove the stock exhaust there will be an 8-shaped piece on the left side... use that to hang the remus on the right side.

There's a baffle but I haven't figured out how to remove it. Doesn't matter though. This thing is aggressive and guttural even with the baffle in, just like a good v-twin is supposed to sound.

Note that this does make the bike run dangerously lean... you might want to get it tuned.

Nice affordable alternative to Termi
When I bought my Scrambler, the dealer tried to get me to buy the $1500 Termi slip on that's nearly identical to this one. I passed based purely on the fact that's a ludicrous price for something so simple and small. I was relieved when I saw the Remus option for almost a grand less, and the quality is excellent.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it sounds a little raspy and unfinished with the baffle removed, but fortunately it sounds excellent and plenty loud with the baffle still in. The value for price ratio on the Remus is why I bought it, and I am happy I did.

Super Cool and Deep Sound with the baffle removed
Great deep sound when baffle is removed, too raspy with the baffle inserted. Fairly easy to install, but the hex nut provided by Remus won't fit the Scrambler screw; I had to get a 6 mm hex nut to finish the install. The stainless steel finish is very shiny, the exhaust looks great.

A bit loud but excellent fit and finish
I put this exhaust on a few days before I was scheduled for a tune to see if I could live with the added noise. It is quite a bit louder warming up but once up to temp it hits the sweet spot. My dealer wasn't able to get my bike tuned and never called me back so I have since gone back to stock while I look for other tuning options. I wouldn't recommend running this without a tune for very long.

does this come with front muffler? The image of the bike shows it including the from muffler.

BEST ANSWER: No, the exhaust box (catalytic converter?) gets removed. Remus makes a different version that includes the box, but this one does not.
