Progressive Suspension 412 Series Cruiser Shocks For Triumph Thruxton 900

The 412 Series shocks are simply the best value shock on the market today with progressively wound steel springs that provide superior ride and handling. The 412 has an effective, durable design which means they will be an improvement to your motorcycle's stock suspension performance. The double-wall steel body construction with nitrogen charged, multi-staged velocity sensitive valving gives you smooth, consistent damping. A five-position cam style pre-load adjuster lets you dial in your ride whether you're a light rider or heavy hitter. With multiple options like full show chrome or black covers and standard or heavy-duty types for most applications, there is sure to be a 412 that's right for you and your bike.

Features:

  • 14.25" height
  • TUV approved
  • Made in the USA
  • Sold as a pair

Note: Before attempting to install shocks that are different than the OEM length, confirm that your wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues. Heavy Duty applications are recommended for bikes that are operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating over 50% of the time.

Great entry-level product
The stock Thruxton suspension basically turns your spine into the shock absorber. The Progressive 412's have performed great so far and make riding, especially while 2-up, much more enjoyable. From a vanity perspective, I love the look of black shocks versus the original chrome color the bike came with. Great purchase all around!

I want to lower the ride height of my Triumph Thruxton . Are these shocks shorter than the Triumph OEM shocks ?
A shopper on Feb 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If you get shocks spec'd for the Bonneville, it'll lower your Thruxton. If you want a set of nice, chrome Progressive 412 shocks that'll lower your Thruxton, I'm selling mine. I bought my Thruxton with the shorter shocks and I want to raise it back up.
I'm 220 pounds. Should I look at the heavy-duty items for my 2015 thruxton or just get the standard ones?
