This is exactly what you expect given description.
Overall the jacket is exactly what I expected.
Extremely breathable mesh jacket with enough protection. The back protection could be better but is always upgrade able.

Great Summer Jacket!
I was looking for a decent mesh jacket, but was leery about spending too many of the elusive dollar papers. This jacket fits the bill. Good fit, great looks, decent armor (I did replace the back pad with a D30 back protector) and excellent ventilation... all for a very reasonable price!

I did have one thought about this. While the jacket fits me great, I DO have the waist cinched to the point of no more cinching. I am 6' 1", 240, 48" chest and I've got a bit of a gut. A 2XL fits me perfectly... but if someone with a big build, slim waisted, were to buy this, I wonder if the jacket's waist might be a little baggy.

Again, I've no worries or concerns for ME. I love this jacket...

Decent mesh jacket for the price, but keep your expectations in check
The good: This is a solid mesh jacket with CE armor, at a very reasonable price. It does a good job at keeping you cool while riding in hot weather.

The bad: The armor pockets are loose, so you have to adjust the armor every time you ride. When you first put the jacket on, the shoulder pads are over the biceps and the elbow pads are over the forearms. They need to be adjusted before riding. Also, the fit is quite large. I wear a 40 jacket, and the medium fits in the shoulders, but is quite baggy in the sleeves and particularly in the chest. It is a bit flappy at speed.

The jacket ships with a (vinyl?) rain liner, and the jacket fit pretty snug with the liner in. But I have rain gear for wet weather, and so the liner is not much use for me. I bought this jacket to wear instead of leather in hot weather, and it does a good job at keeping me cool. But do not expect a snug euro-fit jacket, and plan to spend a few moments adjusting the armor before you ride.

Great fit, nice and cool
Having purchased this for the price I was expecting something mediocre at best. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the jacket fit and the comfortability of it.

Great Jacket for the price!
I always prefer wearing protection, but needed a summer jacket for the heat. It's like wearing a t-shirt with the body armor.
I decided to spend @ $20 more for the CE armor. Great air flow and love the simple plain black design.
Thanks!

Comfortable and Subtle
This jacket fits well, with excellent airflow. I like the snaps that keep the elbow armor in place. I'm also very pleased that the jacket's logo is small and discreet --- I don't enjoy being a walking advertisement. If I could change anything, I'd add a pocket, either inside or on a sleeve.

Flimsy and baggy
I have had this jacket for two years now, and I have come to dislike it considerably. I wanted a modestly-priced mesh jacket to wear when the weather is too hot for my usual leather. This jacket seemed to meet those requirements, but otherwise it has left me disappointed. It does have decent airflow at speed, but it feels somewhat flimsy and flaps a lot due to being very baggy.

This jacket is styled quite baggy. It is not clear what body shape it was designed for--although the waist is size-appropriate, the shoulders, sleeve width, and chest are quite baggy. It fits a bit like a Carhartt work jacket, tight at the waist and baggy in the sleeves and chest. That is good for a work coat where you want to trap a cushion of air around your body, but bad for a mesh motorcycle jacket intended to do the opposite. The size Medium would easily fit someone measuring 42-44 as long as they were not too big at the waist. I would guess that the waist of the Medium jacket is around 34-35 inches.

The armor pockets are very loose, so the armor has a lot of movement. This leaves me pretty concerned that in the event of an actual crash the armor would not protect the intended areas. Given the bagginess of the sleeves, the arm protectors in particular need to be frequently adjusted. The only way I can keep them where they are supposed to be is by snapping the elbow cinch as tight as it will go.

Overall, I would not recommend this jacket to anyone. You could spend a little bit more for a much better jacket, or get a cheap jacket for even cheaper.

Seems to allow a lot of air through as well as having good padding and protection I like the rain liner as well haven't ridden it in the rain yet but it seems like it will keep me fairly dry

Great price and comfort... love the air flow in this jacket, and it feels great for warm weather rides with the liner out.

I picked this jacket because all but one of the reviews was 5 stars. The only one that wasn't 5 stars was because it fit a little tight with the liner in. Which is to be expected. The jacket looks great and looks like it breathes well.

I need a summer jacket and this one looks like it is protective enough and doesn't scream racer wannabe.

Also, would this make a decent cruiser jacket in the summer?
Sean R on Jun 17, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I'm in Texas and this jacket handles the heat here with no problems as long as you unzip the liner. I wore mine on a 95+ degree day for around 5 hours in mixed traffic with just a t-shirt underneath and it was plenty cool.
I'm about a 3xl, but have a bit of a belly. Does this jacket fit lose or tight in the stomach area?

Thanks.
Sean R on Jun 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I've got a bit of a gut, too. Bought the 2xl and I've got plenty of room with the waist drawn in.
do the sizes run on the small or large side or are they right on? Depending on size I am a 49" chest. However, my arm length is about 33, I'm a short guy. Please advise.
thanks Don

BEST ANSWER: I'd say they run a little small with the rain liner in but pretty much right on with it out!
