Will this suspend both wheels completely off the ground? How difficult is operation?
carl G on Jul 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes both wheels can be suspended off the ground, but you need to buy two pairs to do that. These are similar to jackstands for a car. You need something else to lift the bike up, you slide these under the frame sliders or wherever you wanted to support, and then you lower the bike onto the stands.
Are these good for long term storage of a motorcycle?
A shopper on Jul 14, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I only use them for suspension work, but I don't see why they couldn't be used for long term storage. They're very sturdy and should hold the bike for as long as you like.
Is this stand compatible and work with a 2015 Ducati 821 Monster?
A shopper on Nov 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it is universal for any bike. You just need to find a solid spot on the bike to hold onto like a frame slider. These are just like jack stands used on a cars, except designed for a bike. (Car jack stands are placed anywhere that can support the weight). You need something else to lift the bike off the ground and you need to purchase two pairs if you want to support both wheels off the ground at once.
How high does it lift the bike off the ground?
A shopper on Nov 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: They're not designed to lift the bike very high. Here's how they work. First put your bike on your norusual front and rear stands. Next, position the jack stands under the footpegs and front frame (I use the frame sliders on my Duc). Finally, LOWER the bike on to the jack stands by removing the front & rear stands. So the answer is that they they lift the bike a bit less than your current front/rear stands do.
will this stand be compatible for my Suzuki Hayabusa 2013? thanks
A shopper on Jun 13, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I use them for my 2006 Suzuki SV650S all the time, they are adjustable and almost a universal fit. I see no problem for a Hayabusa.
How does it work?
