Didn't weather the storm
I bought this when we sold our house and moved into an RV since I know my bike would be parked outside. The cover did well for the first month then started coming apart at the seams. The plastic document areas cracked, came apart and peeled off and the seams disintegrated. Fortunately I only have a month until my house is finished or I would have to find another cover. Sadly Wal-Mart covers have lasted longer on other bikes in the area. This has the fit and could be a great cover but just couldn't handle sun.

Jury is still out...
The sense of quality I had pulling it out of the box was distinct--it feels like a "real" cover, for sure.

Not quite a year later in the harsh and brutal weather of southern California and it has a tear. But worse, the soft inner lining is coming apart, so now my bike is covered with red fibers that need to be wiped off every time I take off the cover.

Maybe I got a lemon, I'm sending it back for a replacement. It looks the part for sure, but jury is still out. I'll be happy to update this review if the replacement works out.

I expected MORE!
Having done a lot of research on covers I had expected more from this one. I had purchased this early spring so I could have a good cover on my bike for the summer. I was hoping it would last a few years since I put my bike under cover for the winter. I don't think that will be the case!! Most of the seam tape has come off and the front plastic that will hold your solar panel is all broken and cracked. The cover is still doing its job for the bike and is keep the weather and sun off of it but I feel let down. I don't do reviews very often but if I was a consumer looking for the best cover for my bike I would want to know this unit will only last a year. I will keep looking!

Worth spending extra
I bought the stormex to help my bike survive the winter, because my previous cover was the equivalent of a raggedy plastic bag and a bit of elastic. What a difference! It is showing no sign of leaking at all, and kept my bike clean and dry in the rain and cold. The outer is great quality, super waterproof as the water beads off and even if it has been wet all night it'll be completely dry again in one shake. The inner is soft and doesn't scratch the paint. It fits tightly around my bike, I have a suzuki sv400s (save frame as 650s) and the medium fits it perfectly. I would recommend this for anyone who has a bike that lives outside. It's totally worth spending a little extra for a big difference in quality.

Well made cover
The cover arrived in a nice plastic carrying case that I will never be able to get it back into. I like the window on the front for the solar charger, the window on the back for the license plates, the slots around the wheels for chains, and the pockets for the padlocks. The thermal lining near the pipes is great because I can put the cover on as soon as I park. The soft lining on the inside by the handlebars may not last long because it keeps sticking to the rubber handgrips. That is really the only issue I have with the cover. Everything about it seems well thought out... I just wish I could fit it back in the package so I could store the cover a bit better.

Excellent, runs a little small
650 Ninja--medium fits very tight. Installed fender eliminator and it fits now. Good quality. Good look. Features are perfect to show license plate--NYC ticketing like mad for that right now. And this 2016 model says it has fixed the fading problem I see on the streets of the cover turning grey. I've only had it a couple weeks, so we'll see.

Something is Better than Nothing
I bought this cover because my bike will be kept outside year round. I am very happy with this cover. I am optimistic that it will last for the entire year, although only time will tell. Medium fit my bike perfectly, Honda CB500X. Tip: a cover helps keep the dew off your seat in the morning. No wet pants.

Lasted 10 months
I had this covering a 2016 Street Twin left outdoors in a secured, open parking lot in New York. Normal amounts of rain, snow, wind and freezing temperatures - nothing dramatic. The seams around the solar cell pouch on the front ripped out and allowed moisture onto the bike. Have enquired about a refund. This would be a great product without that pocket for their optional solar charger.

Great Cover
This is the best cover that i have ever owned. I live above 8,000ft and my bike stays outside pretty much from Spring to Fall. I have a BMW R1100S with the Large cover. It fits a little loose with out my top rear case on but with the top case it fits perfect and covers the entire bike. It lives through 30-40mph winds, snow and ice storms. I have had to remove the plastic for the solar panel and for the license plate once they started to disentegrate as well as the seam seal tape on some of the seams but it still keeps my bike dry. I can also put this cover on with the bike exhaust still being warm and not burn a hole through the cover(due to the heat protective material insided). My buddy has a R1100RT with all the cases and this cover fits perfect on that bike as well. The only thing that I would recommend changing on this cover is to eliminate the windows.

I've owned two in 6 years. Life span survival rate of NY-NJ winter, spring, summer and fall weather is about 3 years before it is in "ribbons". The weather protection coating will last about two winters, kept outdoors. I've worked, in the past, as a marine canvas design, fabrication/repairman, so this is pretty typical of weather resistant coated fabrics that see a long duration of use in the elements. Good for the money. Oh, and Get you Some!

It had great reviews and so far it's standing up great to the florida sun. Two cons are that the red accents have already bleached under the sun and the strap is way too long for any bike other than a goldwing most likely.

Goodday,

I picked this product for protecting my motorcycle from the elements. From the coldness of the Canadian winter and from the dust when not in use. I like the fact it has a reflective interior to protect from the hot exhaust.

Have a Goodday.

I leave my motorcycle out side out side and need some protection. I have it over the bike all the time and it works well.
Just the red down the bottom faded quickly, but over all, it a solid build with a felt liner

Kirk V on Jun 21, 2016
My bike is in constant competition with the family cars for garage space and since we don't give preference to any particular vehicle, including my F800ST, sometimes it's SOL and has to spend the night outdoors. This will make it a more inconsequential situation.
