Amazing quality
I just bought a pair of these today and I think I love them. After a bit of bending and folding to loosen them up, I took them for a ride and I could shift and break decently. So, I'd say they won't be too bad breaking in.

I am a size 12 sneaker and I usually wear combat boots in 11.5 WIDE, my feet are flat, absolutely no arch. With that said, I ordered this boot in size 13 and it fits perfect. So ORDER ONE SIZE UP. Had I ordered these in my sneaker/boot size, they'd be going back for an exchange.

-Very comfortable
-Easy break in
-Great quality for an entry level boot, at least, that's my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

Great MX Boots for the price.
I have been wearing these regularly for the past three months with zero issue and they are finally starting to feel quite comfortable.

The buckle are easy to use even with gloves on, but the straps are a little difficult to loosen, luckily they don't seem to come put of adjustment once to set them up.

I personally didn't care for the metal toe caps, but they were easy enough to remove.

The sizing appears to be standard US true to size. They have slowly become my default touring boot as well.

For the price it is hard to beat!
Just spent 2 weeks in Vietnam touring with these puppies.

Pros:
- Great fit (as per the sizing chart, no need to go up or down, I am a Euro43/44 and I got a Size 10. I was worried because the next size up was Euro45 which would have been too large)
- Good protection. Heat and shin guards worked a treat. The boots got roughed up on the trip and i was very well protected.
- Easy to put on and get out of. The straps are properly sized for in boot pants and not at a threat of popping.

Cons
- I don't really understand the need for the gator because it is not really water resistant. May have been bad design but water comes in from where the sole joins onto the boot. So if you are going through even a bit of water, expect your feet to be wet.
- Heavy. The boots are quite heavy given from what i expect the metal plate fused into the sole.

Other reviews:
- was reading a bit of feedback about not being able to fit the toe under the shifter. I had no issues on XRF250 and XR250.

Great buy for the money and after a couple of stacks, protected my ankle and shins.

Great budget level boots
Using these boots when on my motard is extremely fun. Not too large, but a great amount of protection. I used them for off-road one day and happened to kick a tree stump in a trail and I performed excellent. I probably would I have broken my foot if I was just wearing shoes. Very low priced aswell!

Great Starter boots
Boots are strong and very well made. They're extremely easy to put on and take off. Only issue is the lip on toe from (from heel) is a but long and sometimes hits the shifter. Other than that, they are amazing for the price!

Best Boot under $150
I am an avid rider and didn't want to pay gobs of money for a solid boot. I was apprehensive buying the cheapest boot I could find, but after wearing them multiple occasions, I am very happy I bought them. There are no better boots for the money. O'Neal could charge more money for them if they wanted. I wear size 13 and I am always being nitpicky about fit since I have a large foot, and these boots give enough comfort and protection. I really like the all black styling so I gave it the highest rating for the "Style" category since black boots can go with most any riding gear and have made a comeback in the style department (white boots were all the rage in the early to mid 2000's so I'm happy black boots are coming back around). I've had fox and alplinestar boots and these O'Neals are definitely on up there, especially given that they are a third of the price as some of those brands and others. I would recommend this boot.

Boops fit very nearly true to size, I only say they were slightly large as I would prefer a 10.5 but that is not available. They are very comfortable out of the box, and after wearing them around the house for a few hours to make sure nothing was wonky I took them riding the next day. They are super comfortable on the bike ('06 CRF250R) and performed exactly how I wanted them too. They are a fantastic boot for the price, and I'd recommend them to any friends looking for a great boot at an entry level price.

Great boot for the money
These boots are solid and the straps are durable. I wear a 9.5 shoe and have wide feet so I got these in a size 10 and break in was really tough. I ended up putting on several layers of socks and using a hair dryer to heat up the front area so they would stretch out to better fit my feet. That did the trick and now they fit fine. Like others have mentioned, it's best to wear these around the house for several hours before trying to ride in them for a full day. If I bought these again I'd go up one size to an 11 and use sole inserts for more comfort. But still a great boot for the money.

Going to try another pair...
Bought these for riding off road. Maybe I'm too big (6' 5"), but these boots make shifting really difficult and there is not enough flexibility to get them broken in to make them work better. Considering getting another pair, but if you need something affordable, these are great. If you need something you could wear all day, I'd spend a few more bucks.

I'm used to wearing high top work boots when I ride but after a couple close spills this weekend riding I figured I should go ahead and invest in a little foot protection. Don't think I want to ride 20-30 miles on a busted foot. So I chose these as a good starter boot till i figure out what I really need.

Are the latches metal or plastic?
Joshua S on Oct 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Well I bought them, so I can answer my own question if anyone else was interested.

The latches are a heavy duty plastic. The male end has a metal pin that hooks into the latch before being snapped into place. I have no concern about these breaking.

Hey my foot measures 10.5. Should I get the 10.5 or 11?
A C on Mar 24, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I wear 10.5 and they fit me pretty well. Theres a decent amount of space in the toes so shifting through gears feel very numb.
The length of my foot is 11 inch. Which size should I order?
A shopper on Sep 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: 12 trust me
Hi. Apart from the leather heat shield, what material is used in the construction of this boot? Thank you.
A shopper on Oct 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It has a synthetic upper with plastic protectors, padding covered with mesh on the inside upto mid height and a rubber sole. Reinforced toe box and heel. This boot is EN13634 certified, so from a safety standpoint its construction is great.
Can these be used on a street bike or sport tourer? Is the toe box as large as the O'neal Element boots?
A shopper on Sep 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These can be used on "non-motocross" motorcycles but it will take a while to get used to them. Just be patient with the break in period and enjoy the great protection on offer. The toe box is quite hefty(and protective) but as I said earlier, you just have to get accustomed to it. You might need to adjust the gear shift lever on some motorcycles.
I have a kick start dual sport. how will the sole hold up to the startups?
