To N-Com or not to N-Com
Having purchased the Honda Goldwing F6B I was torn between the Honda style communicator for the onboard system or to go with the N-Com for the new Nolan N44 helmets. The Bluetooth capability of the N-Com won out. The installation is a little bit of a challenge due to all the components of the helmet you have to remove to install. Once I did the first one, the 2nd install was much quicker. The sound quality is good and the interface with my iPhone is perfect. The controls take some getting used to but we getting the hang of it and using them each time we ride. I'm not a huge fan of the app and I still need to download/install the firmware upgrade (Windows only) which is another issue since we're Mac users. Overall, I'm happy with the N-Com and would recommend it to others depending on what they're looking to gain.

Easy to install, operate and good sound.
Bought this primarily due to its compatibility with the N104 helmet. The installation was straight forward and easy to do.

Sound wise, the system is excellent. At highway speeds music, GPS voice directions and phone call sound quality was better than expected. Have yet to use the intercom feature.
The control on the helmet side works well with my riding gloves and is uncomplicated and easy to use.
The firmware installation instructions could be better when signing in as an administrator. A call to Nolan USA solved that issue.

B5 N-Com ok excellent but need a couple of improvements
The B5 is relatively easy to install, it took me about 22min from start to finish...yes I timed it. Instructions are straight forward and more than likely, you can figure it out without the instructions. One of the bad things is when the controller has to be mounted to the helmet. It has these 2 flimsy clips. I broke one and had to epoxy the controller to my helmet. This probably worked best anyway since they probably would have broke in the future. I do not like the last number redial. This is something that can't be changed but should. You may end up calling someone that you didn't want to speak to in the first place. Other than that he unit is great. Sound quality and connectivity is great. Overall..great unit.

Great Product!
I've had this installed for 2 weeks now and I love it. The sound quality is pretty good, but if you have a lot of wind noise in your helmet then you will have a difficult time hearing. It's fairly easy to use, but there are quite a few button combinations to learn in order to operate it properly and not misdial someone when all you want to do it change the song you're listening to.

charging issues
FYI for those that have mentioned charging issues. My B5 would not charge after being plugged in for several hours. I found that the USB wall plug (that you plug your USB cable into) was bad. I grabbed an old plug from one of my cell phones and charging problem solved.

Worst customer service ever, Do not buy!
I bought the unit and installed myself, it works fine at the beginning and stop working the same day on the road. I contacted customer service at Revzila and the nightmare begins. They cannot take or replace the product back. I need to contact directly the manufacturer rep here in USA “CIMA-International” due to electronics warranty. I sent the unit back to them for repair, after a week they send it back to me claiming that the firmware was “flushed”. I installed the unit again and STILL is not working. Same problem, no bluetooth connection with the iphone, I connected to the computer and te Firmwire version is the same(nothing updated) the buttons of the helmet cannot tuno on or of the unit. I called Revzilla to return the unit and get my money back and they told me again to go back to the manufacturer to get a refund or replacement. After a month of being order this product I’m still in square one, spending over $250.00 plus $20 of shipping to repair and the B5 unit still not working with my helmet. The Manufacturer works only from “Monday through Thursday”, I get the unit back on Saturday so I have to keep waiting.

Split decision
I purchased two sets a couple of months and found out its not very user friendly. The APP need improvements plus updating the firmware seemed very challenging. The on unit commands are also not very easily used. The sound quality at high speeds and road noise is outstanding. I can hear and speak so clearly while riding. The installment and streamlining is great fitting well on the helmet. So I am torn with satisfaction and unsatisfaction with system.

Best looking integrated bluetooth intercom
I purchased 2 of Nolans Ncom B5 bluetooth intercoms and Nolan N104evo helmets. Not a cheap way to go. So far I'm not overly impressed. Most of the features I've tried work but I have a few issues. There is an annoying echo when using the intercom with the passenger, I'm waiting for an email response from Nolan tech on this issue. Also I can't access all the settings features to try to solve the echo. I was hoping to be able to play Pandora through my Goldwing Aux input stereo and hear intercom and GPS navigation instructions in my helmet headset. It's either all media in the headset or all media through my bike stereo speakers. I'm a little frustrated about this. I'm still researching how to solve this issue. It connects to smartphone nearly every time. I also purchased the Goldwing wire to plug into my bikes audio system. It works for awhile and then I get a loud squealing sound in the headset and the B5 turns itself off. I'm researching a fix for this also. If I can fix the echo problem I could be content with this purchase but I don't feel it is worth the price, and Revzilla had the best price. The B5 does look good after the install on the helmet, better than any other bluetooth headset I've researched.
