Love this Tailbag
I'm not a backpack sort of guy so I got this tailbag for my Yamaha SR400. Did not like the way the installation called for taking the seat off to install the bag's straps. What I did is cut the straps and put four 1/2-inch grommets one on each strap. The Yamaha has four pegs in back part of frame where I could snap the grommets onto. Perfect for my use. The bag I bought came with an elastic rain cover which I never used. Also has a shoulder strap you can clip on to the bag. The inside is roomy and has pockets and areas to hold small items. It even expands if needed to hold a helmet. I carried a Shoei clear face shield to swap out if I needed to for evening rides. The two zipper pulls have accommodation for a small lock. Well made and a good value for the money because it is well thought out.

May Require Creativity to Install
This is one of the few tail bags on the market that will fit on the pillion of a 2006 BMW F650GS. The bike's design prevents anything attached there from overlapping onto the tail rack or being wider than the pillion. This bag fills the available space, right up to the back edge of the saddle. The bag appears to be very well constructed and looks good on the bike, but given that I just got it mounted, I can't speak to durability. I CAN say that mounting it with the straps under the seat was a royal pain...not because it was technically difficult but because identifying attachment points that would actually work required a lot of trial and error. I ended up attaching each pair of straps on one side, then crisscrossing them to come out and up the opposite side. Doing this allowed me to bring the straps up in the best position for fastening the hooks to the D-rings, and "shortened" the straps sufficiently that I don't have to deal with a lot of extra strap flapping in the wind. I am concerned that the left rear strap may be close enough to the exhaust pipe to get hot and melt, but I won't know until I've ridden with it...and I'm confident that the three remaining straps would keep the bag on the pillion if that happens.

A Decent Fit For Vespa GTS
Short & Sweet: I was looking for an alternative to mounting a rear rack and top case on my Vespa GTS 300 Super, but wanted a rear bag that was just large enough, combined with the bike's under-seat storage, to pack for a long weekend/multi-day trip. This bag does the job rather well, and even looks the part mounted on the pillion end of the Vespa's seat.. The fact that it has both a lockable main compartment, carry-handle, and rain cover (which even unzips to fit the bag in Extended mode) make this a very keen bag for travel or even everyday duty. The mounting system works adequately, but I'll be making a customized setup that should be faster to mount and dismount from the seat. In all, strongly recommended.

Great bag!
It took me a couple hours to figure out how to mount it to my RT1200RTW. I wanted it secure, yet easy to remove if I wanted to use my hard case for a longer trip. Finally arrived at an excellent solution. Bag looks great, and plenty of room with its expandability for all I need on a day ride.

Great bag, but a bit smaller than advertised
I really like this bag. It fits very well on my Honda CB500F and it looks good too. The bag has enough structure that it holds its shape, and doesn't slouch like my old bag. Fair warning, though, it doesn't really hold 16 liters/22 liters expanded. The bag's label, the one that comes in the bag, lists its capacity as 10.76/15.06 liters. The bag's label gives the dimensions as 12.5"x10.5"x5", 12.5"x10.5"x7" expanded. I measured my bag while on my bike, and agree with the label's measurements if the rain cover is removed. If you buy this bag you're going to get 10.76/15.06 liters of storage without the rain cover. Subtract about 1.5 liters of storage if you keep the rain cover in the bag. Would I buy it again? Yes. I think most of these bags are sold with an "inflation factor" regarding their actual volume, but that's my opinion. One more thing, I can just hike my leg high enough to clear the bag when getting on my bike. With the bag extended, my leg won't clear it and I have to get on the bike more awkwardly. What I'm saying is that a smaller bag has its advantages. I'm 53 years old and 5'8". You taller, younger riders are blessed and may be able to swing your leg over a taller bag. RevZilla is a great company, they're my favorite for motorcycle gear.

Awesome tail bag.
On sport bike this bag looks bad a**. It fits plenty inside you can toss the rain cover unless you planning to ride in the rain with it, I know I am not.

The straps could be a bit better designed similar to Kreiga bags, the way they anchor inside and that you can take the bag with you and leave the straps inside the seat rather then taking the whole thing off. That is the only downside to it. I would like to see another zip pocket on the onside or something rather then opening up the whole bag. But I think I am asking for too much at this price point.

CL-1060 tail bag.
Just finished a short 1700 mile excursion using the Nelson Rigg CL-1060s. It is the perfect size for my Motus, and works great. I had to modify the strap retention system to fit my bikes seat, rather than loop the tie downs to a frame point. My wife sewed quick disconnect buckles so that I can remove it just by lifting the seat and uncoupling them. The size is as I said perfect for my bike. It held my rain gear, camera, extra set of glasses, and a few cleaning supplies. I had thought the next size larger would have been a better choice, but after using this one I am very satisfied with my choice. It sits well on the seat, and even acts as a small back rest. Great value.
