Decent Windshield - Doesn't work for my Bike
I ride a Harley Street XG500 and this was one of the only windshields that both Revzilla and the manufacturer's website advised for the bike. For those who are not familiar with this bike, it is styled after a more cafe-racer esque bike but is not quite a cafe, being that the seat and the gas tank almost create a straight line across the bike. With this being said, the bike itself does not do a whole lot of wind screening naturally. So I bought this windshield not exactly knowing how it would treat the wind but it was cheap so I went with it. Few things first, the hardware is not the same as pictured. It is made of metal, not plastic, and consists of metal U clamps that wrap around the handle bars and use bolts to secure it to the handlebars, instead of the plastic quick release clamps shown. What happened with the metal clamp/bolts is they actually ended up stripping the black paint off of my handlebars in the location the bolts crossed over the handlebars. This would not have happened with the plastic hardware found on the DX model. And because you have to tighten it pretty tight to combat wind speeds, it included some nice scratches to supplement the paint stripping. Adjusting the height, angle, ect also involved the use of a wrench which was not something I ideally enjoy carrying around as I was constantly trying to figure out how to make this work. The other hardware looks to have pieces which can be adjusted tool-free which would make for minor adjustments to be made with better ease.

Second, if you are riding a HD Street XG500 or 750, I would recommend getting a windshield that is taller than 15". Even at its highest mounting height (which looked absolutely ridiculous) the windshield was able to direct a good amount of wind off of my chest but moved that wind right to my head, causing the wind noise around my helmet to be unbearable without earplugs or any form of noise dampening. No matter how I adjusted it, I received the same result.

I rated this a three star because the windshield itself is pretty solid itself, but I would opt to spend a little more money to purchase the DX version to have the better, less abrasive hardeware attachment, as shown in the picture.

Revzilla, please change the product picture to represent the actual product and not its similar, but very different, sibling product

Very small. It is what it is.
I bought this because I wanted some wind protection on my Vulcan 900 custom. My girlfriend has this shield on her Shadow 600, and she really likes it, so I went with it.

The install is incredibly simple, but does take a little adjusting time. What it came down to, was that this shield is just way too small for a mid-size or full-size cruiser. It gave me insane amounts of head buffeting to the point I'd have a headache after 15 minutes at highway speed. If you ride a smaller bike, this might be what you need, but if you ride a bigger bike, I'd go with something larger. Now I need to find a way to get rid of this one to look for something larger.

Worth it!
This windshield fits great! There's lots of adjustment for angle and height. Still working out the right angle for my Street 750 but 75+ MPH is much better than before! Works with my OEM Fairing too!

Great protection for a great price
Offers good protection from bugs, wind, and rocks for a good price. I also like that it wasn't too big and it compliments the look of the bike.

Great windscreen for limited aftermarket options.
Does what I wanted it to do, reduces wind buffeting by about 1/2 easily on my Street 750. There is some vibration but hey what can you expect, it's handlebar mounted and doesn't have any vibrations dampening bushings.

Prior very good experience with this shield on other UJMs. Very easy to install and keeps the wind blast off my chest.

Can you say easily adjustable? I can. It's not a behemoth, but is big enough to do the job needed.

Will this fit onto my harley street 750 ?? Is there any other aftermarket fairings/windshields available for street 750??
A shopper on Aug 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes it does fit! I bought one for my Street 500 and it fits. One thing I am noticing about it is it redirects the wind that would normally hit your chest and pushes it towards the head, on this particular bike, due to it being a small windshield. I've noticed a great deal more wind noise and have simply resorted to wearing earplugs. I am still toying with the height and shield angle but it seems to still be consistent

What is the difference between this model and the DX model?
Pablo C on Aug 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The main difference is the mounting hardware. What the picture shows here for this model is actually the DX model with the quick mount hardware which is made of plastic, while the regular model has metal hardware. I bought the regular model and actually found the metal hardware on the regular model to be harder to adjust because you need to carry a wrench with you to adjust it as well as when you tighten it to where it needs to be, the actual metal pieces can scrape off any paint on the handlebars you may have and/or scratch it deeply. My handlebars are black on my HD Street 500 and the regular metal hardware scrapped the paint right off.
Will the speed screen have to be removed as part of the install?
A shopper on Jun 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: On my wife's Street 750, no. She wanted in positioned with the bottom edge just behind top of the stock "cafe" fairing. I have a photo on the streetforum site.
Could you specify the windshield model number (N25030, N25031, N25040, N25041)? Is it quick release type or U-
clamp type?
A shopper on Nov 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: N25030
It is U-clamp type.
Please, what
height is screen ?
A shopper on Jul 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 14 1/2" center top to bottom and 16" top to bottom on ends.
