167ft/lbs torque and 10k miles - can't be bad!
I have these on a Rocket 3 Roadster, just renewed them at 10k miles.

Anything that can handle the Rocket 3 torque and still last 10,000 miles cant be bad. Never had an issue with them.

Definitely did the job..
When you get up to a 280 rear tire, there are not a lot of choices out there.. I am pleased with the look, ride, and traction of this tire.

Great Tire
I really like this tire. It was OE equipment on my bike so I decided to stick with it. The tire doesn't track in ruts in the road. I always feel confident in corners in the wet or dry. Great tire I just wish it would last more than 8000 miles.

Not a good stock replacement
I ride my H-D Night Rod Special hard, and even with very low tread my stock Dunlop never gave me any guff. Since replacing with this tire, I've had kick outs on braking and downshifting, slipping when taking off, and just untrustingness with taking corners. The ride is comfortable is about all I can say good about this tire, but that could be just due to the fact that it's new. Guess I'll have to look for a different tire next go round...

Great tires.
I sport these on a '09 1700cc RS Warrior. They are great tires and actually I attribute these to saving my bacon when hitting some algae while accelerating hard out of a tight corner. They slide a bit, nothing dramatic. I was on prob. about the outside 2" of the edge of the tire, it was about a 2-3" little slip and when they gripped it was quickly back in control but not chaotic (nothing in a way that would cause a hi side). Tread life is not fantastic though roughly 5,500 < 6,000 Miles from each of the two rears I've had. I give them a lower rating because they are touted to be for longer tread life (longer than what I'm not sure but I guess they did outlast a track sport tire I had on there at one time). So for the Cost $$$ and the justification for the cost from the manufacturer stating they are to be longer life I can't give it top marks.

Bought after reading a ton of reviews.Bought 260 rear for my Night Rod for the added meaty look, worth every penny. Grip is excellent! Done 5k miles and they still look new!

i will buy again!

Works, Well, Fits my bike as this is the factory tire. Looks nice. I only just had them put on a cruised about 600miles so i can;t say how they hold up long term but they are sticky enough for my riding and I haven't had any issues thus far. I ride a Yamaha Midnight Warrior.

Will the 280 fit my 2015 Breakout without changing swingers etc?
A C on Sep 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: If your asking if the tire will fit the simple answer is to put whatever size is currently on there. I run an affermarket setup with a 280 on a sport bike with a custom rearend. Good Luck.
I run a 250/40 R18 , but you no longer make that tire size. So my question is, what would work for me? Would the 240 be to small,or would the 260 be to big?
A shopper on Feb 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would give the 240 a try...maybe...but definetly wouldnt go with a 260. Id rather attempt to be to tight than lose.
will the 280 fit my 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 CC's? regular rear wheel?
A C on Nov 27, 2017
