I took the time to get on my computer... You will read this
Hello world
If you shop like me (sort, low to high) then this is for you. My previous helmet (scorpion brand) was expensive ($200 don't judge me) and this feels like it is definitely better in all aspects. I'm just a cheap guy with a fast bike that's wants to look cool, but be well protected with style. This is the perfect solution

You're welcome America

Great for commuting
The features that come on this helmet are amazing for the price. $100 you get:
-Built in sun visor
-Quick Release Strap
-DOT/ECE safety rating
My last helmet had only a DOT safety rating none of the other features and it cost $50 more!!
The helmet feels great on my head. The cheek pads are little tight at first but break in quickly. The ventilation is acceptable. I commute in Lousiana, really hot and really humid. Once I get moving after a couple of minutes with all my vents open I am ok but not comfortable. The internal sun visor is a life saver. My only complaint is the sun visor leaves a small gap open at the bottom so you have a shielded sun visor with a small gap of bright sunlight poking in. The actual clear visor works well but it does not stay a open well at a half way position to release humidity. This results in an all the open or all the way closed visor. When the visor closes it makes a loud sound that can be startling but you get used to it. Ultimately I would say this helmet is amazing for a first choice helmet or a comfortable commuter helmet.

*Almost* a great helmet
There are only two things that I don't like about this helmet but for me, they're deal breakers.
First, and most importantly, is ventilation. To say it's poor is an understatement.
The vents are easy enough to open and close, but it makes no difference since you absolutely cannot feel any air moving in the thing at all. None. If you want to open the visor a little for some air, the first detent on it holds it about 1/3 of the way open - meaning that your line of sight is obscured by the edge of the visor.
The other killer for me is the need for Pinlock. Due to the poor ventilation and inability to "crack open" the visor, it fogs immediately while in stop and go traffic. You must use a Pinlock insert to prevent fogging. I detest the yellow haze that the Pinlock insert has - it takes a visor with crystal clear visibility and muddies it. The visor no longer fogs, but it makes the whole world an ugly place. Oh, and I could only find two places on-line that sell the model specific Pinlock insert - one guy that sells it for MSRP and soaks you for shipping, and here at Revzilla where they sell it for $10 OVER MSRP but don't charge for shipping. Add the Pinlock ($44!) and it turns a competitively priced helmet to an average priced one.

They did make a nominal effort to incorporate a communication system - slight indentations for speakers but no real means of securing them. No provisions at all for fastening the headset mic in. I had to glue in velco patches for speakers and the mic - it would be so much nicer if this was built in.

I do love a couple of things about the helmet;
The fit is excellent, my egg-shaped head is pain free after hours of riding.
I'm real impressed with the quick release strap mechanism, once you get used to it, it's quick and easy to operate.

All in all, if you don't spend any time in traffic, or use a communication system, this is probably a great buy.

For me, it falls short of what I need so it'll be relegated to "back-up helmet" status. It's a shame...

Money well spent
This is my first motorcycle helmet, do I can't comment on the noise factor. However, I can comment on how comfortable this helmet is. Great helmet for the price. The sun visor is awesome but it doesn't come down far enough. It leaves a small gap in the bottom. Overall this is a great buy.

F-ing Great for the Price!
I've had many helmets since the 90s. They all get better and better as time goes on and this is no exception. Ive had carbon fiber helmets cheap plastic helmets with high safety ratings, all sorts of different helmets even a $1500 Rossi Agv (which is still the favorite). This LS2 really blew me away for such high quality at such a low price. It's great for commuting. Low noise. Flip down sun visor. Couldn't ask for more except maybe visibility like the agv while maintaining low price.

LS2 Helmet
Pretty good helmet, my first helmet. Took it out for my first ride and had no issues with it except I had to look a little further back in turns or lane merges.
Not to loud either and the amount of air flow was okay. Just leave visor down so you don't feel like your heads being pushed off(which is what I did through out my rides). (lol).
All in all I would recommend this helmet for its comfort and innovation with the sun visor.

Solid helmet
Awesome helmet for the price. It's a little bit tighter than a bell medium that I have in terms of sizing. Yes lacks a few items but for the price and the fact that includes the sun visor it can't be beat at that price.

It's my first helmet so I wanted to keep the cost down but I liked the sun visor feature. Reviews were positive enough that I wanted to give it a try.

It was the highest-rated on a listicle for safety and has the features I need (flip down sun visor, full face mask). I do wish I had watched the video first because it's a little tight on the cheeks, but my next helmet will be better.

I commute on my bike so I want a helmet that is more on the quiet side. Does this helmet cut out wind noise very well?
Tyler250 on Apr 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You'll be pretty disappointed with the amount of noise this helmet makes. I'd look else where. Also, the helmet tends to be Intermediate Oval, not the Long Oval as described by the manufacturer if that was something you were also considering in your decision making. The finish on the LS2 helmets are amazing and probably about the best I've seen. I am a true Long Oval, extremely so compared to most, so it maybe unfair of me to complain about the fit, my noise and mouth were actually touching the front of the helmet. Arai has always been the best fitting for me however if you take the fit out of the equation. Again, go elsewhere on the wind noise, it was really horrible from my aspect. Good luck.
How is the sizing ? My head size 22 inch just worried if it was sized small it would be to tight .
A C on Jun 17, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I found the sizing a bit small. You might want to go one size up. Also, the helmet is extremely noisy. Wear ear plugs. The quality of the finishes on this helmet is amazing, top notch. To bad I had to return mine because of the fit. If you looking for true long oval, this seemed more in-between intermediate to long. Purely my opinion. :( Good luck!
Can you add a Bluetooth headset system to this and if so which one?
James J on Feb 2, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I installed a bluetooth-style headset (clamp style) with two circular ear pods and a flexible mic. Fits perfectly. Any system of this style should work seamlessly.
