The aggressive blade design is efficient at cutting into snow and digging in the shovel position or chopping snow when in the hoe position. The compact pack size makes the Backcountry Shovel easy to attach to a variety of backpacks. The anodized aluminum shaft and powder coated blade are designed for use season after season.
