Fantastic Jacket
I received the jacket about a week ago and have worn it on a couple of rides since then. Great looking jacket with a good fit. The perforated leather has kept me cool (even a little cold) in the spring weather and I'm looking forward to testing it out once the weather gets hotter. I'm 6', 185 lbs with a 42 inch chest. The size 42 jacket fits like a glove. The arms are a little long but you don't notice it once you're on your bike. The size 002 CE level 2 Forcefield back protector fit right into the pocket in the back and is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend buying this jacket.

Great very protective, hot weather leather
I've owned a number of Joe Rocket products, as well as other brands. I have trouble finding proper fitment, most charts are off. Joe Rocket charts work much better for me.

This jacket is made in Vietnam, and I'm impressed with the quality. The leather is a bit thinner than an older Joe Rocket jacket of mine, but still feels thick enough to be very protective.

I wear a 54 jacket, and this fits well. It fits like a tall, since I have 37" sleeves and these are plenty long. The collar had me worried in the heat, but it's been very comfortable.

I have the full perf version, bought for high heat. I've worn it on a 70 degree morning, high humidity. With only a t-shirt underneath, my arms were slightly cool, but fine. Just rode through a downpour, and it's definitely full perf! Still, it dried quickly. I've worn it on very humid, 97 degree days in TN, and as long as you are moving the flow is good and pretty comfortable. It's not a mesh jacket, but if you want some hot weather real protection, it's a great choice.

Complaints? The cuffs are nice, but a bit thick - having to work to get them in my gauntlet gloves. The only other thing is the tendency for the elbow/forearm pads to want to slide down when putting on the jacket. Not severe, but could be anchored a little better. I might try adding some velcro.

I've got my pants setup to take the 8" section of zipper for another JR jacket, and this one fit just fine onto that.

I would definitely recommend this jacket, especially for someone looking for the roomier, American fit.

Well made jacket
This is a really nice and well made jacket, thick leather where you need it. Size is tight though. I’m 5’9” 165lbs 40” chest, 34” waist and middle-aged body – 40 was too tight around the middle but snug on the chest. Forearms are tight with armor but comfortable. Returned and went to a 42, which fits better around the middle but arms are a little long. This is a very cost effective protection alternative to the higher-priced sport jackets with their elastic/leather stretch panels etc.

Nervous about buying leather jacket online but.....
This jacket is everything I wanted. At first I thought the fit was too tight but when i put on a proper riding shirt, it fit perfectly. I am 6' tall, 185-190 lbs and ordered the 44. Perfect fit.

Riding on a hot day this jacket breaths very well and keeps me comfortable and cool. However, even putting the liner in, this is not a cool weather jacket.

Like other armored jackets I own, it takes a little adjustment putting it on, but once on, it fits and functions like a glove.

Speaking of gloves, it doesn't work well with both styles of gauntlet gloves I have. This jacket is meant to zip over your gloves so keep that in mind.

Overall, extremely happy with this jacket. Its fits well, feels great while riding and it looks very sharp.

First ride impression
This is my second Joe Rocket leather jacket. I have a Speedmaster, but I wanted a perforated jacket that wasn't ORANGE! I'm 6'2" and usually wear a size 50. This jacket is a 50 and fits perfectly. It is not loose, nor is it snug. It fits. I can carry a small pistol in the inside pocket, but there is a bulge. Today it was 63 F. I had a long sleeve jersey on underneath, and it was a bit chilly, but tolerable. The sleeve cuffs at first appeared a bit large to get under gauntlet gloves until I discovered an adjustment tab on the bottom of the sleeve at the wrist. I cinched up the cuff and that "Problem" disappeared. I have three Joe Rocket jackets and three pants. All are well made, have held up well, are reasonably priced, look good and are sized to fit an American. What more could I want?
